It does not work. It disables voip phones. Idiotic tech support who are completely useless and not knowledgeable. Waste of time and money. They have an option for 3 months free but do not make it clear that you cannot get a refund when you realize you just paid for nothing if you choose that option. With the one month free you can cancel within 30 days without being charged, and you will cancel!

Virtual Shield worked "sometimes" in that my IP address indicated it was in another city, but often it would not connect. I generated several "tickets" for help, but never received it. I finally cancelled the subscription and deleted the app, but it still shows up on start up--only giving me the option to restart the service or get help. Now, I am getting regular emails warning me that they are not receiving my payments (because I changed bank accounts!) I'm taking the time to write this because I just received another email stating they started a "ticket" for me--after I wrote them (again) that I had cancelled the service MONTHS ago.

VirtualShield turned out to be a virtual nightmare while using the internet. All of your business and favorite sites will not allow you to do transactions… even after you are recognized and signed in! It's filled with glitches and problems they also slow down your web browsing to a snail's pace and the worst of all is their customer no service.

They promise a 30-day cancellation policy and turn around and deny of any such policy. I tried to cancel within two hours after installing their program and they stalled for two days and still refuse to cancel their service within the 30-day cancellation policy.

VirtualShield is a cleverly disguised Virtual-Scam!

Garbage software, terrible customer service policies, essentially stealing your money. Take your money, give crappy service, complain to them, they play the appeasement game and keep your money. Can you say Thieves.

I cancelled bedcause the service was poor with bad support. They not only did not reply, they dd not cancel and had the gal to charge me for another year.

I had a 2-year subscription that ended without any advance warning of my card being charged to renew. This VPN interfered with many of my apps, and also my emails. When I got the email receipt for my card being charged, I sent an immediate email to have the service CANCELED and money REFUNDED. Instead, they sent an email offering a 50% discount. What don't you understand about CANCEL AND REFUND? It took another 10 MONTHS to get them to refund my money and cancel the service! Their VPN interfered with my email downloads. I went back and forth with Apple and Comcast for months, thinking I had an email problem and was contemplating buying a new phone as I thought my phone was the issue. I eventually realized the problem was due to VirtualShield, and I had to turn off the VPN to have emails download. You can't find a phone number to call them, Tech Support is slow to answer and time-consuming to go back and forth by email. Don't waste your time or money. Opt for another service.

I've had this VPN for a few months and I regret paying for a full year in advance.
I still get blocked out of many sites that detect I'm using this VPN service, such as Netflix. In fact Virtualshield even states that if you want to use their VPN on these sites you have to pay EXTRA! WHAT? This VPN is already WELL over $100, why do I have to pay extra to use one of the most basic features of a VPN?!

If I'm using this VPN
- Runs slow
- Can't upload anything to twitter, google drive, tumblr and probably many other sites (it always times out)
- Still get blocked by many sites unless I pay extra

In short, DON'T BUY A SUBSCRIPTION FOR THIS VPN! It's not worth it.
