Sadly it seems VFS has a monopoly on visa applications. Which is a shame. Their website is terrible, no details and vague info regards premium packages. No helpline and no help offered at the centre. Apparently sent out passport back via courier, refused to give us details of tracking-still waiting after one week. Truly terrible customer service
Don't be fooled if they said they are trusted by Emirates & Dubai immigration. What they really care about is making money at expense of their customers.
UAE temporarily suspended visas for 13 Nationalities & I inquired 2 times if my visa can be approved. They assured me they can process & guess what I applied for a visit visa after booking via Emirates & on the second day my application got rejected without any reason. They could have not accepted it or told me to wait until visas open but they didn't & I lost about 850 AED.
The lack transparency!
Charged me twice for OCI card and still did not provide the service and on the top they charged $50 for phone calls which gave bull sit answers. Folks there have no clue what they are doing. If you don't need OCI stay away and just be done with multiple entry visa. I fighting for those charges through my credit card company.
Due to a bug in their software system, they charged me the service fees which $234 but the application did not go through. It has been more a month and am still following up for the refund. Very pathetic company. They are literally running a scam!
They are not responsive at all. Their business model is to delay and make the process as complicated and unclear as possible. Their website and forms are full of mistakes and ambiguous instructions. Their call center charges $2.40 per minute. They put me on hold and still charged me for the wait time. The rep came back on call but didn't announce and just wasted minutes. I kept asking (as there was no music) and then she acted like it was my mistake that I was quiet. Clearly they are trying to earn money from phone calls. They should remove the paid call option. It is literally fraud.
Very hard to get an appointment. Even when I try to log in with my credentials, it brings me an error message and error. Have no idea if they know the urgency of this appointment, as we cannot make a plan because there's no slot available. They just told us to keep trying :(
I have never come across a worse website than theirs. Need to answer million questions every single time to check the available slots. Have been looking for appointments 3 months prior to the travel date but was able to get only closer to the travel date. Most of the time all the months and dates would be greyed out but on the first page it shows that there is an earliest slot available. Even clearing cache and cookies does not help sometimes. So exhausting and frusutrating! We have booked all tickets, insurance, accommodation and all of the VFS fees. Now it is all going down the drain. This is seriously a scam!
I've been patiently waiting for over four months for the return of my passport, but there have been no recent updates. The customer service team has been unresponsive to my emails. When I attempted to contact them through a paid phone line, they instructed me to address any issues via email and handle queries there. This service experience has been incredibly disappointing. Even the initial application process was unpleasant, involving long waits and exorbitant fees for the handling of official documents, only to result in my passport seemingly disappearing, requiring me to file a lost passport report to obtain a replacement.
Their website is virtually inoperable. One gets strange messages about clearing cache and all cookies.
Phone service if they answer is totally and completely useless. Why does the French govt outsource to such idiots? Are they trying to drive everyone into the $500 expedited Visa?
I had an appointment for an Austrian Schengen visa today and it was the most humiliating day ever. I was there for 5 hours and the treatment from their employees is far from worst. I also saw one of them be very rude and yell at an elderly person. I never leave reviews, but I hope this will help in a way. I love Austria so much, it's culture and heritage but I would never want to go through this experience. They also charged me $200 for printing papers. I felt like a second class human being and I was there with my child for hours. Their website is the worst as well.
I contacted this Company regarding my documents. There was no reply for almost 10 days. Then, they sent me a reply to contact some one else to track my travel documents. I had to contact CGI to get my documents. You cannot Trust this Company with your International Travel Documents. Only good thing is, if they loose any U. S citizen's documents, that will be the end of their business in U.S.A. (Plus fines imposed by the court) I don't know about other Countries.
I came for my son's visa application, there is no waiting space anywhere. Even after paying so much, people who are accompanying has to suffer so much in the hot sun. Keeping in view of the health and polution outside, VFS has to consider providing some seating area while applicants are inside.
Worst Server I have ever seen Customer service is very bad. They have no clue about my questions about indian Passport surrender. At the end of the call, he simply said send an email to so and so address and they will get back in 48 hrs. To tell this, he literally took 5 mins and costed me $16.97
I have been trying to book an appointment for 4 days now. Site doesn't work. Went in to ask for booking (12:00) and was told to come back at 14:00 as everyone was on lunch? 2 hour lunch? I would literally rate SA home affairs higher than VFS.
VFS Global has the worst customer service experience and it is really bad that the site also doesn't work properly. If there are any issues with the site too, you still need to pay them to get support. One of the worst services and I think the govt should hire someone else in their place.
The call center experience is awful. They do not have knowledge and misdirected my passport application.I would have given zero stars if available.
Returned good passport with damaged reason
The review given after vfs application is full of spelling mistakes and humanly not possible to understand their english. Very careless instructions and they keep asking for additional document which are not mentioned in application.
They are money minded and charge insane amount of $2.40 per minute to call their call center.
Indian government should revoke their contract immediately and save consumers.
Went to London to apply for Netherlands visa my appointment was for 12 waited 2.5 hours until I was seen to. Only to be told the photo copying and printing I added to my order online was not actually available. Ended up spending £50 (the price of my holiday ticket) on photo copying downstairs! 4 hours after my appointment was due finally someone helped me try get it all done as quick as possible! Conditions were awful no fresh air felt physically sick by the end of the day manager listened to my complaint but of course don't do anything other than "sorry" absolute joke! Came away thinking the holiday wasn't worth the stress in the end anyway was crying all day!
I wish I could give o star to this poor website and its administrator. Very disappointed with user experience and never ever advise someone to deal with these folks. Don't have customer care to complain and charge money to the people who try to contact them. Complete disgrace and not sure how they are doing business in USA.
No feedback on emails or requests. Phoning customer service is a joke - 9 calls this morning as the first 8 were all cut off whilst holding, but you're expected to pay the premium rate. Over the past week the calls have cost me in excess of $100, and spoke to the same person every time - is this poor soul the only person employed to deal with all of their requests? Website never has availability (been trying for more than a month) - and when there is a spot available, try to book it only for the site to say you've exceeded your number of attempts - apparently 1 attempt is too many. It's shockingly poor how there is an absolute disregard for customer service, and seemingly all of the UK's non EEA citizens need to apply at the same place for all of the Schengen country visas - how many people serving how many applicants? VFS - your lack of responsibility to others is damning, and you lord your perceived power over others.
They don't care about customers time and money. If they totally rely on Checklist for document validation then its their responsibility to keep it updated and remove the old ones. My application is returned because I chose the old checklist (which was present online). It cost me $22 additional in postage because the application is returned and they secured my credit card details in advance already, so they can deduct any money at thier convenience even if it was because their fault. I know one friend of mine faced the similar issue. This is very bad.
