I ordered medicine for my sick horse. They charged me in full ($478) the first day I ordered it and according to their site they only made one attempt to reach my vet. Why charge before it's shipped. Now I cannot afford to purchase it somewhere else because they basically stole almost $500! They never ever answer their phone or emails
Ordered 09/13. Money extracted from bank immediately. No comment or updates in 5 days. Left message at one number & waited on phone over thirty minutes twice. Emails sent & no reply. Not a great way to get & keep customers :((

This company has terrible service. Placed my order on 2/13/17 and was told by email that my prescription was received and order was being processed. They immediately charged my credit card $348 for the order, but have failed to ship it as of 2/20/17. Tried calling their 1-800 number but they direct all calls to voice mail so they can screen them. Needless to say, I will never buy another thing from this company!
Sent product near expiration. Dehydrated, old. Even Manufacturer recommended it not be used. Customer service does NOT answer phones. Only received a response when a payment dispute was filed. When finally did get a response, it was not friendly and unapologetic for the poor quality and negative experience. Did absolutely nothing to make the situation right. Do yourself a favor, stay clear of this so-called business.
Vet Depot is horrible! Ordered a week ago, my vet had to send 7 faxes before they admit they got prescription.
Customer Service is a joke, you will not get a live person, always to voice mail, you are suppose to leave message, good luck getting a return call. Finally emailed, now it will take 2 to 3 days to process, plus 5 to 7 days before delivered. Sure, it may be a bit cheaper, I found another service who can ship today.
Good bye Vet Depot! Horrible!
Their online checkout system is clunky and confusing, then you get this:
- First they claim they've got my order and all is well.
- Then they email me to say they don't have the supplies and I should go someplace else.
- Then they email me an order confirmation.
- Then they spread their chaos to my vet's office by faxing them over and over again even after they approved it the first time and the transaction is complete.
If I receive something that is expired, as another reviewer has stated here, I'm going to the Better Business Bureau and attorney general. No way is this acceptable.
I ordered much needed medicine for my dog ten business days ago and the tracker says it's still 1200 miles away. The website says 1-7 business days after prescription received. I called Vetdepot to inquire and the phone went immediately to a message. I'm sure they will blame it on the vet not providing the prescription but I know my vet is very responsive and I don't think a prescription is needed for this medicine. I don't recommend Vetdepot due to sluggish service.
These Vets did they get their degree in this country? Their office and shipping is it in this country. Do they have any live people ans phone. Ordered 2/8/17 never got, called paypal on the 23, after it was scheduled for delivery the following day. Called them and said if not delivered as promised I was going to cancel. The next day I got email saying order was canceled. What a bunch of liars. Don't annoy pet owners we will turn on you like no dog you ever knew,
I ordered meds for my dog two weeks ago and finally got it in the mail. I called the support line several times and no one ever picked up. I was able to have someone call me back once to take my vet info since the site did not prompt me to do so upon ordering (as per easy instructions). After one week of waiting and getting several emails saying I didnt give them vet info (which I did over the phone), I contacted the vet who said they faxed the info over the day I ordered the meds. I do not recommend this at all and will be looking for another place to buy my pups meds. Unacceptable customer service.
Communications are really bad with this place. I placed an order for three different items and never received anything and had to call them to find out why. Nobody ever called me to tell me that my vet did not approve two of my items. I was on an autoship for an item that didn't need to be vet approved and they never sent it out after the initial order. When I called to find out what was going on, the rep said she would get it sent out right away but a month later it never came. Tried calling back for several days and a voice message said they were experiencing technical difficulties, and that went on for a few days. When I sent an email over a month ago, I never received a response. Today I get an email saying that my item has shipped., apparently that was the autoship which I needed every month and not every 4 months. Finally had to just cancel and give up on them. I definitely wouldn't recommend if you need medicine for your pets on a regular basis.
I placed my order 2 weeks ago. They charged my credit card the day I ordered. Their site says it is still "In Process". They should not charge you for the product until they ship it. If I don't hear from them soon I will dispute the charge. Don't use them if you need your product in a reasonable amout of time.
20% off the first purchase which was nice since I pulled my Rx from Walmartpetrx, which is a horrible place. I called my vet about Walmart then about Vet Depot and they said they signed something for AlliVet, but I didn't go through that company, well I don't know what to tell you. I checked AlliVet site and nothing!? Now I had to call. They said that Vet Depot is a sister company, so why doesn't it say dba or have an an affiliation somewhere so I didn't spend so much time figuring out what happened?!?!
Very helpful, good customer service. We have been breeders and have a hobby farm and can order puppy shots from them for about $2.25 each (compare that to a $50 vet visit!) and other supplies for our animals. Shipping is fast, reliable, trustworthy company. Real people who speak clear English answer the phone to help you with any questions about your item.
I have 8 fur kids and cost, customer service are important to me shopping on the web. I have done business with this site for over two years. They are excellent. Free shipping on your order over 69.00. They will go out of there way to help you get the right meds and whatever product you need. I never get spam mail, and my orders always come very very fast. Give them a look, I think you will be impressed.

I would rate it with 5 stars if they would have the supply of medicines that I needed for my dog. Only one of the three drugs ordered was delivered. I did receive automated emails that the shipping date had been delayed a couple of weeks for the other two drugs. After a month of such emails. I had to cancel each order and shopped elsewhere. In one case, the delay of one drug delayed the receipt of the one that I did receive since they were going to ship both out together.
Their customer service is responsive to phone and email contacts. I do appreciate that. I just wish their inventory was sufficiently robust to reliably respond to orders in a timely manner or that they had more responsive/reliable suppliers.
If I could I would give this company a rating of zero. Save yourself the stress of dealing with this company, by buying your pet's meds from a reputable company. Instead of doing the right thing, they hide behind the telephone as you stay on hold, hoping you will give up.
My cat was very sick and we didn't know how long she would live, but I bought more of this product just in case our supply ran out. Short story, our cat died so I tried to return the unused product for a refund. I was well within the 30 days of purchase window and the product was not a prescription drug. I tried calling Customer Service numerous times, and waited on hold for nearly 30 minutes before giving up. I finally wrote an email to Customer Service and then waited for a response. After no response, I got up 5 am to call Customer Service at their 8 am open time. A woman answered and as soon as I mentioned I was calling for a return and refund, she hung up on me! So I got my credit card company involved to investigate providing them with documents showing the transaction, my telephone calls to them, and my email. Within a day, I got an email response with a prepaid FedEx merchandise return label and a statement that they would issue a refund once the package arrived at their facility. I tracked the delivery to their facility, then waited again for a week for my refund. When nothing happened, I sent another email with a copy of FedEx's proof of delivery. Within a day, I received a response saying they issued a full refund. How this company has stayed in business with such poor Customer Service is beyond belief.

I use VetDepot for my pets' prescriptions. It's definitely cheaper than my vets office and cheaper than the other online stores I looked at. It's a nice option to save some money.
I was skeptical to order from vetdepot because the prices seemed too good to be true. I read several online reviews and saw the same few issues in most reviews. 1. Terrible customer service. This was not the case for me. My order was processed very quickly. I know this because I received a phone call from my vet within a few hours of placing my order because there was a discrepancy with the weight of my dog and I needed to order a different medication. 2. Can't get ahold of them by phone, email is the best. When I needed to modify my order, I decided to skip the phone call and email instead. I received a phone call back within a few hours from a very friendly associate that helped me correct my order. 3. You have to follow up/orders get stuck in the pharmacy. This was also not the case for me. I was worried I would have to follow up since my order had to be corrected. But received a follow up phone call from their pharmacy asking if I had mailed in my scripts. 4. Long delivery times. This was not the case for me either. I received the product within the delivery window promised. I was skeptical ordering from here after reading the reviews online, but I had a great experience and will buy from them again in the future.
