I ordered a ballroom gown from Venus Dancewear. It is beautiful, prettier than the photo. The quality is excellent and the fit is perfect. I requested that they leave off certain crystals and send them along with the dress. They did exactly as requested. I highly recommend that you order early as it took over a month for the dress to arrive. I was not in a rush, but if you have a deadline, I would clearly communicate that to the company before ordering or you may be disappointed. Highly recommended.
I ordered my dress online ( attached invoice) on 12/29/21. I supposed to receive the dress by now, today is 2/8/2022. I had called, and sent several emails to request the status of my ordered. It has been whole weeks, there were no one responded. I had same bad experience as CB on the review-- here is her review "lthough the website cites 5 to 15 days for shipping, this is completely erroneous. At the beginning, customer service was responsive in my inquiries. Now that the 15 days are long past, I am receiving absolutely no correspondence on the status of my order. The website guarantees a 24-hour response, it's been over a week since my last inquiry and I have received no word from the company on the status of my order. At this point, I'm questioning the legitimacy of this business." I think I have lost all my money that I had paid. Anyone have suggestions what actions should I have to take now? Show less

I have purchased at least 5 ballroom gowns and 3 latin gowns from them, all of the fit perfectly and very elegant. Very recommended dancewear maker!

I like their online customer service, live chat to get fast reply. It was simply and pleased shopping experience. I have orders 5 dresses from them so far, all of them fit perfectly. The shipping was delayed since holidays but its totally understandable.
I ordered three dresses, two ballroom dresses and one latin from Venus Dancewear. I had read all the reviews on the website, and thanks god I made a correct choice... they provide custom-size for every dress ordering from them. I was pleasantly surprised: my shipment arrived sooner than I expected and the dresses fit perfectly! I followed their measurements guide and provide my measurement maybe that helped in the fit. I'm planning on ordering again and hoping to have the same good experience.

This is my second review of venus dancewear. I now have three competition gowns from them. I am so happy with them. The fabrics are beautiful, and the stoning is beautiful. I'm not an ordinary shape, and they worked with me to find a sillouette that looked good on me. I'm very happy.
I recently did my first purchase on VENUS and I am very happy. My gowns came in exactly three week, I'm very satisfied and I plan on purchasing more items in the near future. They all fit well and good quality

It fits me perfectly and I received so many compliments on this ballroom dress! I was very pleased with the way it looked and the material that it was made of because it allowed me to move freely. Nice quality stones and really beautifully made and looks gorgeous.

We are so sorry about the delay of the order, since we make brand new dress for our every customer with their own custom-fitting size, and every gown is 100% handmade even every single crystal on the dress. The production time might be delayed sometimes, hold you could understand. And please confirm with our online customer service with expected delivery date if you need the order to be delivered in a hurry. We have 24 hours online chat customer service, and toll free numbers on week days.
I bought a dress from them several years ago and was very satisfied, including the modifications that they did very well. I decided to get a second dress from them and so far, they have been able to come up with the modifications I have asked for, but it has taken months for them to get back to me. It is impossible to reach anyone who has any authority from "the team". You can only get them on online chat, and while they are nice and polite, how many times can they say they're putting my ticket under "high priority" and have no response from "the team" and still no response? I have a deadline for the dress and began this process months ago...my deadline is approaching but I still have not gotten confirmation on price and design changes. I have called their 800 number (the only one they have) FIVE times and left five voicemails. No response. I had hesitated to write this review, but at this point, it has gone on way too long. I wonder if this review might actually make them respond. So: nice dresses, terrible customer service. How can I provide proof of purchase if I can't even purchase the dress?
