I've been a trader since 1984, recently transitioning to investor in early 2023. I have used Vector Vest (only) since the '90's. I will not buy or sell stocks or options without doing my VV. Homework. If you don't get the results you were expecting, I suspect the problem is not the product, but the user. Not everyone's personality is compatible with the irrationality of the markets. Most people underestimate how long and how much training it takes to become good at it. The trick is to get enough practice to become proficient before you run out of money learning.

I watched in a free webinar titled "How To Generate 3% Per Month With One Option Trade Per Week." This course is a trick; the title is misrepresented.
1. This webinar was really an advertisement for a expensive course on option selling.
2. The topic was not explained in detail, except to say that selling Put options was how they did it.
3. The chat room was not open. It was mentioned that participants could ask questions in the chat room, but that was not so.
4. Apparently this webinar was a recording of a prior webinar of the same name.

I emailed, called them and chatted with them to cancel my subscription. They are nothing less than thugs. Worst scam ever. Beware! It cost me >$500 for services I never used and for which I cancelled my subscription. Worse than the mafia!

There is no where on the app or website that allows you to cancel your subscription. The only way to cancel is to email them, which I did. But they still continued to charge me! Most fraudulent company I have ever seen. Horrible company and horrible people.

The tech support is the worst tech support in the industry. The tech support is handled by incompetent, lazy people that know nothing about Vector Vest. These are glorified phone operators that are only capable of re-set the password. If the software is not working correctly, they tell you to shut down and re-start several times, and if it still does not to work to try the next day. They refuse to transfer you to a computer expert to solve your problem. If there is incorrect stock information on the software, they say they know nothing about the inner workings of the software and have no interest in correcting it.

Do not take your chance by trying more, because the more you give, the much more they want, i fell prey too but with the aid of Broadoak-capital com, i got back everything i was owed.

Their subscription is expensive and very much like other free charting websites with a bunch of technical indicators that basically show the past data. It does NOT help my trading/investment as advertised. I lost more than 15 trades within a month by following their day trading service "Derby". This company set up a trap with their trial. If late for 1 day, they will charge the whole month. It's a fishy & dishonest business. Terrible customer service. Never come back to Vectorvest

VectorVest helps me make better trading decisions. Even in a down market I'm making money. I made 25% on a stock in one day. I couldn't believe it! Thanks for the pick VV, keep 'em coming.

It will help you make money in the stock market with ease. It has wonderful indicators that you cannot find anywhere else!

I attended a webinar, where I did not learn much about options trading. I could see through the juicy bits that may entice you. The host made a hardsell towards the end of the hour to buy a $2000 value options course for $495, and then suggested buying it for $295 with full money back if we buy RIGHT NOW before the end of webinar. Great, I was almost convinced, so I did a hygiene check on Trust Pilot.

Holy cow! These guys DO NOT ALLOW CANCELLATION on email or online? Read and repeat that once more. You need to call (where some desperate sales association on commission pleads with you to stay on), and the options trade software after the course is $295/mo.

So you cannot cancel, you need an expensive software (which apparently is buggy and not very reliable), and customer service simply does not exist, unless you post a negative review on trust pilot. No thank you!

I am simply writing this to alert other prospects to do their homework before giving in to sleazy sales tactics. I almost did.

Oh also, they send a ton of emails.

#VVNation! This software is an amazing screener... so much useable data for so many different strategies. It's a bit overwhemling at first and it took me a few years to learn to use it well. I use the VectorVest screener alongside my stock scanner (Trade Ideas). For swings and investments, I set up a stream/list of VV's Hot Stocks and they always do better than using my picks from the scanner. VV software uses a lot of combined fundamentals and technicals in propriety indicators and you really can time the overall market. Their courses are good, too, and they are cheaper if you catch the webinars before registration starts.

I used VectorVest for 6mo, I dont recomend it. Software has too many problems for the price they charge. One month it was down 100% for 2 weeks and when they got it back up, it was having too many problems. They told everyone we were getting a refund and I never got one, plus I got an extra charge and when I asked what was that charge they told me they didnt know and I was going to get a call back. Never got a call or refund. Stay away, this company is greedy and dishonest...

Absolutely not worth it. Their platform crashed last year and they haven't refunded what I'd already paid for a service that was not provided. I've lost money by following their "hot stock picks". Nothing you can't find by yourself.

Signed up. Overwhelmed with emails. Unsubscribed over and over. They won't stop. Reporting this company as bad and spammers.

I use it with IBD. I find that the combination of IBD and Vector Vest excellent cell phone app can't be beat. The app is great for following a portfolio so that you know where you are with a stock and also setting up watch lists. I get most of my stock picks from IBD. Best thing to do is turn off all VV emails.

I have been using Vestorvest for a number of years and once you set your trading strategy. Vectorvest is instrumental in success. I use Munger's "Value Investing" based on company value and the notion that shares tend to drift to their asset valuation. I use Vector to give me valuation and the math that I need to assess that then the VST to identify shares. In doing I I identified Gold then sell, Then Iron ore, and sold when the VST on Fortescue said sell. Vectorvest combined with a good strategy is invaluable as said 30% per annum...

I've used VectorVest for several years, but am now stopping. It's because I checked their data against another source (MSN.com), and found that it's unreliable.
Upon consulting with their support folks, I learned a surprising fact: VectorVest does not report earnings, but only ESTIMATES of earnings. Even after the quarterly earnings reports come out, if the estimate is wrong, even wildly wrong, they will keep the estimate data in their history.
EXAMPLE: Comparing Facebook from July 2019 to June 2020.
VV shows revenue steadily increasing month by month. MSN shows that revenue peaked in December 2019.
VV shows earnings stuttering for the first 3 months, then going steadily upwards from then on. MSN shows that earnings peaked in December and never recovered to the earlier level.

I've been a subscriber to VectorVest for +10 years and have taken many of their educational classes. The platform is as conservative as you wish and the classes and follow-up have never disappointed. In late 2016 I took a course called Paycheck that covered Spread Trading. It was IMPRESSIVE and thorough. I took a spread trading course years before but this was fantastic for detail and complete training. The next 12 months I pocketed over $110,000 trading SPX only while risking only $20K at any one time. (I lost $30K of that $110K because I didn't follow the plan) The instructor's name was Ron. Learn from him!
