Thank you for compiling all of this information; as a novice in the financial sector, having anything like that is quite beneficial. This has shown to be really valuable, particularly at the beginning.
Support never writes back -
From my heart this is NOT the Financial Well of advice you are looking for.
The 505 page is the main display page of your portfolio - making trading near impossible.
Their login/password module is really FU. User experience is annoying.
I was testing their stock market simulator for a class I'm teaching and found that their simulator doesn't properly account for stock splits. Emailing them I learned that it was a mistake and that splits should be accounted for and they were looking into it. Weeks later and they still haven't fixed the bug. Just don't bother with this site if you're in academics or even if you want to learn about trading, it's a joke.
Actually stated in order to receive a house for free is to break the law and squat... A home that does belong to another.
Serves my curiosity in reading what I did. This site is a scam and should be removed. Very misleading!
About 50% of the time I have an issue signing into my account of the classes that I had purchased this gets very frustrating for me.
When the site doesn't work it redirect me to the main page (photo attached)
I had emailed Investopedia several times to fix this issue and nothing still has been done
Luckily TD ameritrade offers free trader education
The old investopedia was simplistic and intuitive with an abundance of information, a diamond in the rough. The new investopedia is complicated with ALOT less intuitive information. It almost feels as if it was intentionally complicated to sell courses that were once free. I understand the business of monetizing, but changing EVERYTHING took away investopedia competitive advantage of simplicity. Now it's like every other site.
Investopedia is an online free resource for investing, as the name implies. Excellent Education from beginners to advanced. Check it out i use it extensively
Should have to admit that it was very educative and helped to clarify a lot of my queries on investments. Plus the customer service and experience is pretty good.
Thank you for gathering up all this information, as a beginner in the financial market its really good to have something like that. Specially at the beginning this come to be very very useful.
I first stumbled upon Investopedia by accident when I googled a term I didn't understand. Since then, I go straight to Investopedia for all my financial and economic queries
I tried random usernames and differnt emails but all of them are in use. It wont let me make a new count and now me econ teacher is marking this as a test grade and I got an E
If Investopedia was not up then i would have never stumbled across DPO. In my search of a noncommissioned Stock Market Exchange and other financial options beside an IPO, which requires an Underwriter and of course the standard financing which is usually a Bank Loan, i found a link to Direct Public Offering. Now me knowing the Law of Opposites, i knew if there be an IPO then an DPO has to exist right? Well it did...thats what i get for thinking like a honorary Freemason (the indigenous kind no harm no foul its just the deeper Roots the better seriously). I use to play the investing game the site has to offer until i realized that eh i could be constructing an investing software which Trades at a certain point of a Gain and Lose...Investopedia does that to you afterwhile you know what i mean? Yeah. Anyway colleges i have been to does not offer the insider details of how to DPO much less a DPO unless they have change their academic books of which no college can tell you everything about the investing world but certain colleges specialize in advance studies hint hint ivy league colleges and the elite ones. Yes i did not make this society unequal and words which will make you wonder sometimes. Anyway i would recommend this site to any like me who needs to be on point and sharp 24/7 financially when it comes to investing. My positive thoughts exactly. LEADERSHIP. Go Investopedia!
Investopedia has a rating of 3 stars from 14 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Investopedia ranks 49th among Personal Finance sites.
