The appraiser is mostly relying on information that are already available online. I have membership with artprice and I can get the same info. The appraisal should be decisive and conclusive based on certain market trends and experience in painting and techniques. This will help in predicting future blue chip artists

Description of item was limited. I did not get a sense that the true value was accurate.
Considering the original retail value, I do not believe the valuation was a true reflection of the details and craftsmanship of a the quality piece of furniture manufactored by a well regarded and established furniture producer

Failure. I feel robbed

So i had ambrotypes of a man and son in portrait that resemble abraham lincoln and son william and you all responded with 'their is no evidence that this is abraham lincoln and son'. Which is a cop out answer of low intelligence and low effort. I mean open your eyes. Do a transparency overlay comparison. This may be an american treasure and you dismiss out of laziness.
