This is now the 3rd semester I have used Valore books, and they have saved me thousands of dollars. Whether it is purchasing or renting, I know that I will get when I order from Valore; so much so that I recommend it to all of my classmates each semester.
I almost always find better prices here. I have ordered from here multiple times and so far so good. Shipping can be slow depending on who the seller is so plan ahead and keep an eye on that.
PLEASE, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My experience with Valore books was... the worst! For 8 months I was charged with late fees totaling over $300 even though the books had been returned. After months of calling and trying to resolve the issue their"courtesy" was to close my account, but theydid not offer me any kind of refund for the excessive charges. They are extremely hard to contact, their customer service is terrible, and operations clearly inadequate.
Just can not believe how much of a savings it is to purchase the books from valorebooks! So glad that a friend of mine referred me to order my books online!
Order books well in advance. Expect items to be cancelled and refunded several times. I ordered right before classes started, now I am two weeks in and still have no books.
When filling in address info, it automatically gives you options to select the right address, even if it's not the right address. It automatically fills in the city, state, Zipcode from this address that is given. It will not let you fill in the city, State, Zipcode as a separate entry, almost resulting in my not being able to make a purchase. I always include Suite number as part of the line number one address. The Suite number was not include in the autofill selecting the address. When I selected the autofilled address from the given selections, and put the suite number in line two of the address, it autofilled the city, state and zipcode. If I hadn't done this on a lark, I never would have guessed that was the issue, and would not have made a purchase.
I have been able to locate every book I ever wanted and have ordered books for friends at amazing prices. They were so impressed! I'm delighted to have found this website.
This is cheaper than Amazon and a lot less hassle. You put in your billing info each time, instead of trying to remember a bunch of account info like with Amazon.
I purchased a book from ValoreBooks a week ago and ask if I can receive my Book faster since I need it for my coming quiz.
I've been waiting fro my book for more than one week and then when I opened my Order I sow that my order is cancelled.
How this is possible? They DID cancel my order without any reason and even DID NOT contact me?! Seriously? WHERE IS CUSTOMER SERVICE?
Because of them I am going to fail my first quiz.
Be careful if you decided to buy a book from ValoreBooks, you can get into a trouble.
Hopefully, this isn't a scam. I'm just a college student looking for cheap books but i couldn't remove items from the cart so i had to use a different browser.
Using the ISBM numbers that I copied and pasted from my colleges' bookstore, knowing what books I need for each class was very easy and convienent to rent. I was able to find 2/4 books I needed for half price.
Great Prices on a book I need for this coming semester. If the book is in good condition and they ship it quickly, I will definitely use Valore Books again.
"DO NOT RENT FROM VALORE! My daughter rented 2 books form them. The first never came and she had to reorder well into the semester. The second we wanted to renew for another semester (extending the rental for a full semester would have cost twice as much as the book -- but if we returned it and re-rented it would have been $35 -- why should we have to incur shipping fees? They should have the option to renew a rental for another semester). We emailed the renter repeatedly to try and do this but they never responded so finally we emailed Valore. No response. Finally I found their phone number online and called and they took a message and finally emailed back but it took them about 5 emails to understand the issue (not the sharpest tools in the shed) and were completely unable tohelp. They have charged us $20 to extend the rental because NO ONE WAS ABLE TO HELP US. We will never rent from them again!"
The prices are great, but the payment option is a bit archaic. PayPal as an option would encourage me to check out quickly and make me feel more secure.

Your web site does not allow PO box's to be put in with out a physical address first. I can not have things sent to my physical, and I know thats exactly what is going to happen. Fix your site!
