I compared the prices of the books I rented to other sites and this came out cheapest. Although I think the shipping fee per book is unnecessary and would probably rack up in price compared to other sites if I had newer or different books. Can't wait to see what condition they come in.
I have yet to see the condition of the books but so far the purchasing price for all my books came out cheaper than amazon and they were all in stock... but while checking out, I had a coupon code to use and was never prompted to type it in, which was a bummer.

After I posted this review Valore advised they would ship the textbooks back at their expense, though it could take up to 30 days to get them back. Raising my rating to 2-stars since they pay return shipping, but still wouldn't recommend doing business with them.

I shipped two books to ValoreBooks that were in almost perfect condition and they sent back a response on both that they were rejected for either water damage, damaged cover, binding or pages, excessive writing or highlighting or incorrect edition. None of the outline "possible" issues were an issue with either copy, and now they want me to pay a fee to have them shipped back! Seems like a scam to get free books. I can't speak one way or the other on other companies that buy back used text books, but I would stay well clear of ValoreBooks!
I just placed an order to buy a Sudoku book. It was added in the shopping cart but I wanted to buy some more books. It gave me only 5 mins of holding time, which was not enough. I had to get out placing my order in those 5 mins and I could not complete my shopping. 5 mins is not enough.
I placed my order on December 7th. Of course, the money for my book was withdrawn from my account immediately. No problems there! It is now January 13th, and I still have not received the book! I emailed the seller 5 times with no response. Oh, and by the way, their phone number is *******705. Not that calling them will get you anywhere, but maybe if enough of us bug them, we can shut this horrible place down for good. I'm not going to quit until I either get my book or my money back, but I'll tell you one thing, I will NEVER get textbooks from them again. I'd rather spend twice the money on Amazon, and know that I'm dealing with a reputable company!
That was a painless and quick transaction. I wish I had not had to re-enter my information when I amended my order. It would have been nice if my information could have been saved for the duration of this particular transaction since there was no lapse time.
I have rented before and i simply love this service, it has saved me lots of money and i am completely grateful for this website. The struggle is real as a college student and this is such a huge help. Thank you!
The books I have ordered have always been at reasonable prices compared to those at my college book store. Also, they are never late. I've ordered from ValoreBooks many times in the past and I plan to do so in the future.
I really enjoy the lower prices compared to what my bookstore at college has to offer! I saved hundreds of dollars, and I can use that money to go towards other funds. I was a little disappointed in the hassle it took for the shipping. I wasn't able to put in my address at school because Google didn't recognize it, so I had the books shipped home. Other than that, I enjoy using the website.
Awful, use another book seller! My textbooks arrived about 1 month after placing my order so I was unable to do assignments, making me 3 weeks behind in all my class work. After the first 2 weeks waiting for the books, I contacted their customer service via email (since there was no phone number available) to find out when the books were coming and potentially cancel my order. However, no one got back to me so I didn't know what to do. Tracking information was inacurate as well. Eventually the books came but not having the textbooks left me falling behind in my work and struggling to catch up for the entire semester.
Velore books shipping is horrible and so is their customer service! I would advise using a different retailer, even if more expensive. It's not worth the stress!
Really awesome site, nice reasonable price. I hope everything will work out considering I read some of the other reviews that didn't work out for other buyers. I often times would rather rent a book than buy a book. After I started price comparison I will never buy a brand new with a buy back option because these sellers will never buy back these books due to changing conditions such as moving to another edition. So I enjoy renting school books any day of the week.
They had all of the books that I needed, but the shipping was expensive. One of my books only cost 50 cents and the shipping was $3.00+. When school is starting up it would be better if they offered free shipping. I found a few of my other books on Amazon because they were cheaper with the free shipping they offered.

Easy navigation to find books and basically was one of the cheaper sites. I have never ordered from this site so I hope I am not disappointed. I need this book as soon as I can get it thats why I expedited the order so if possible I need the book on Tuesday 1/30/2018 or before 6pm on Wednesday 1/31/2018. I hope the book will be in good condition and functional. The website was very useful and and attractive.
I had a lovely experiemce on valore ad got my expensive english book for only $10 it was great! I am so thankful for websites like this that really help out college students get books for a very low price!

Very easy and quick to use! Great deals. However i don't like that i have to leave a review that is at least 100 characters long. Its like a person asking for a compliment but once you give them a compliment they say its not good enough and that you have to make it longer.
