Bought the unlimited persons reports for one month for $19.86. Added the premium data bundle for $24.83 when the first search didn't really turn up anything. Then I was fool enough to add on the $3.99 unlimited PDF downloads option. That's called throwing good money after bad I believe? Call me a sucker! Please don't waste your money.

The reports are great. The price USED to be good when you could pay per report, especially since most private citizens only occasionally buy reports. BUT the company went to subscription only, $20 per month. I don't know anyone who would pay this much for occasional reports. Called the company and they said "too bad." I am sorely disappointed.

Signed up and conducted multiple searches. Not one included a mailing/postal address, which is what I was looking for. I immediatley cancelled my account and requested a refund. Never got a response from customer service and of course no refund. They don't provide the results they promise at sign up.

AVOID! Good at giving you the runaround! I signed up for an annual contract but after a week they developed "software" problems and I couldn't access. Was told they would have problem corrected in 48 hours, but as it turns out after 2 months the service is still useless even though one problem was fixed a second problem prevented searches from returning information. Numerous calls to customer service led to lots of promises and no action in correcting problems. I suspect this is a branch of Intelius as when I talked to supervisors their e-mail was an Intelius account.

They were confusing about their charges. It was implied that I could cancel but that was not the case. They said the payment was for 1 report instead of a month membership. The reports I did get on the 2 day trial were missing most information and what was there was inaccurate. I would give them a 0 rating if I could!
Now a couple of days later my bank says US Search has debited another charge from my account. I called the first time and was told that I had not cancelled subscription so I was charged for another month. Called again and the story was that there had never been any charges. My bank account says there was. Is this blatent lying? How do I know the truth?

If you pay the monthly charge, it says you will have access to email addresses. I had three employees says these say words "you will see emails if they're available." Yet, the site shows email are "available," but you have to pay more money to see them. Finally, got someone to admit this means they don't have the emails "available," but a further search will get those email address. In other words, email address don't ever appear to be available, even through they are promised with the Omniview monthly plan. Bait-and-switch... with the goal of making you pay more.

Will take your money and not help you! - This people from located in California will just take your money and sent you old addresses of the person you looking for. And when you get your "search" you find out that they giving youy what you already know. No refunds they said...
They also don't let you speak with a manager. They are taking people money for old information.

I would give this company no stars if I could. You are going to waste quite a bit of money if you use this site and you will not get all the information you paid for. A man stole from my 90 year old grandmother. We caught him and he was put in jail. We wanted to build a bigger case against him so that he would get a longer jail sentence and had already collected quite a bit of information on this guy as he was a life long con-artist. I decided to run a background check threw this site to see if we missed anything. Some of the information we pulled up on him from this site was incorrect and most of his criminal history didn't even show up, especially the more serious charges against him. I called them and told them this and they said they only research public records with actual case number. I said I have six case number right here that didn't come up. The wouldn't refund my money even when I paid the extra $19.95 for the nationwide background check on top of the $39.95 regular check I already paid. Your better off collecting the information yourself. Good Luck!

If this isn't a scam, then it's the worst customer interaction I've ever seen. This website is a waste of time and money.

Couldnt long into account they took money out of mine. Its a scam. Refused to answer my emails and they did not cancel my account

Like the Wild, Wild West--customers are held at gunpoint so to speak. The
Product that they offer to the consumer is literally WORST than poor. I
Ordered a background check on myself; USSEARCH revealed eight marriages and eight divorces. I supplied them with my full name--middle name including, social security #, date of birth and all the necessary criteria that was required by them inoder to provide a discriminate match.
I was very dissapointed that I had a criminal record in two consecutive years,
Within the same State and same County with the same Case number. Addingi nsult to punishment, five of the husbands that I alleged to have married, bore my family name. How lucky am I to have married five men that carried my father's name. I didn't even have to change my name---how ironic is that? I reported them to varying consumer groups including the BBB and they were very incooperative. DONT USE THIS SITE www.ussearch.com. There are lots of information out there but it takes intellegence to put it togerther. USSearch claims that my name is not unique. My name is far from common--but I did gave them my SS#, my dob, my middle name dah.! Do not throw your money away.
