The inspection went fine, but the quote came as a JPG image with no details covering what was discussed during the inspection, i. E. the agreed upon results. The quoted price was $10,000 for blow-in insulation of my garage and topping off the rest of the attic. I was offered a 10% discount. I ended up watching a youtube video, buying the same blow-in insulation from a big box store for $1700. The insulation came with a free one-day rental of the blow-in insulation machine. It was a fairly simple project which a friend and I completed in a 8-hour day. Fortunately, I have my own trailer and truck which made this an easy project. A friend at work was quote $2900, although it was only topping off the entire attic to R49.

The injection foam is a scam even if they can fill the wall it cracks and turns to dust and have a good chance you get mold growth run run run

The product doesn't work. My house has been chilled all winter. Customer service has been extremely poor. Nobody returns my phone calls and they have missed 3 appointments to discuss my concerns. No regional manager or owner has reached out to me proactively, nor has he yet returned my calls.

12/18/2024 I had a home estimate done for an insulation job through USA Insulation and the cost of the job 7,900, On 12/31/2024 workers from US arrived to install insulation in all my exterior walls and my attic which was to be free. Approximately an hour into the job the lead worker informs me that the front exterior wall of my house could not have the foam injection because the space was to small. I was really upset because the representative who came out went out and claimed to have checked the exterior walls of my home and states that there was no insulation and orderdered it to be filled to capacity on all walls. With that being said the job was 7,900 so I asked for a deduction and after calling the office 1,438 was deducted from the original price of 7,900 leaving the cost to be 6,462 so workers continue by removing my siding and drilling holes to inject foam and the lead walks around checking the depth of the holes only to find out that I had insulation that was tightly packed and he had to call in and let it be known. Long story short the representative that came out lied he did not do any checking my homes walls were removed of the siding, wrapping, and holes drilled all away around. USA then tried to charge me 5,700 to do the attic only. I was lied to by the representative just to get this work order which wasted my time and ruined my house as it was partially put back together when it didn't need to be torn apart and drilled into anyway. My attic has insulation in it already and only needed a few inches more and they wanted to charge me 5,700 because of their mistakes for a job that maybe at most should of been around 2,000. I am really upset over the removal or the siding, sealer wrapping, and drilling into my exterior walls.

The team that came in to do the work were polite and did their job. But when we got the estimate we had asked them if insulating was going to make any difference in our cold living room. The guy had also mentioned that we would get $800 back during tax season also. That was a lie we didn't get anything close to the amount they told us. It was a total waste of 2800 that we paid and no difference is noted at all.
Our living room is still as cold as it was before. The temperature is still very low.
I had contacted them and they did come back again and said we missed a portion of the wall that needs more Insulation. We are not satisfied with that at all knowing it made no difference and was just a rip off.
Do not go by what they tell you. Bcoz they want their money and will say insulation will fix the problem and it does not.

We had USA insulation blow insulation into our attic space back in 2017. What they did was blow insulation over the soffits without putting in baffles. They piled insulation up to the point NO air could get through for circulation. The moisture build up happens in the warmer and hot months and temperatures… making this process slower to happen. Now our sheathing is rotted and needs replace. They of course are denying fault. Our roof was replaced 2016 one year before the insulation was installed. It may be too late for us but save your money and home by not having them do anything to your house. This work aas done by the Columbus Ohio location.

I pulled a wall down inside after they did the insulation
The insulation was no good
The director of operations came and said they never checked the chemicals on every wall like they should
We will fix your house
Now crickets zero communication
There a scam the insulation they give is inferior
I'm ready to make a video and put it on tv
Anybody want to help I have proof I moved the Sheetrock

I had USA Insulation install at my residence in 2016. I had initial concerns the first winter due to pipes freezing, cold temperatures inside the house and no decrease in my electric bill. They did come out and "spot check" and patch what they said was insufficient areas. The service men were very nice and accommodating. Since then, I am having issue again with freezing pipes. The install is supposed to have a lifetime warranty. I called customer service at *******134 and spoke to Anna this morning. I explained to her that my pipes are freezing again in the master bathroom and I am concerned that the insulation is not working properly. She was immediately defensive and stated that she doesn't see that is possible. I said I don't know how you see it but I was told this wouldn't happen. Even though the words that were coming out of her mouth were "I'm sorry" she was very condescending and didn't give me a chance to speak. It doesn't matter if you give a lifetime warranty when you call for help and are treated so poorly. I guess I will call corporate and see if I can get any help that way. This service is pretty expensive to have. I'm sure I'm not the only customer that expects to be able to get help after the installation when the product fails to do what they promised. Anna, there are many opportunities to make money in this world. Customer service is not your strong suit.

This product doesn't work made my problem worst stay away of USA INSULATION A BIG RIP OFF THE OWNER MADE UP EVERY EXCUSE WHY MY HOUSE IS STILL COLD

I had them come out and insulate all my walls which already had a mix of 1960's and newer fiberglass bats.

The installation itself was somewhat messy with a clear but somewhat sticky running down lots of my windows and doors for about 24 hrs which if not immediately cleaned up was hard to remove. They cracked one of my vinyl siding panels without saying anything to me (which, if they had, I could have directed them to a replacement panel I have stored in my garage) and the level of the panel was only about a third of the way up my wall which makes me wonder how high up the foam went. One of the room they did they overfilled one or more of the spaces which popped the drywall off the studs and left it bowed out under a window allowing more air infiltration. Where they plugged holes in the drywall in my garage, the plugs shrank and cracked leaving me needing to patch and repaint plus they left lots of drywall dust over my garage.

The bottom line after a year of utility comparisons is that my energy usage actually increased.

Had insulation installed with the promises of noticeable reduction in my energy costs. The surprising fact is that my energy costs increased. I would have been much better off saving the $6500 it cost and done nothing. I also contacted the salesperson as well as the manager and had no reply from either. It reminded me of these here today and gone tomorrow companies.

Accommodating, Courteous, Cleanliness, Prompt, Friendly, Informative… The staff & crew at USA Insulation - Colorado Springs exemplifies all those traits. There are many insulation installers available but none will be better. American products at a fair price & friendly people who stand behind their work. Thank you for a job well done!

The clean up after when they got done nice respectable.they were nice too.they were on time.they were awesome.

When the workers arrived, they proceeded to tear siding off the house. I had to stop them. My deal was to have the concrete block foundation insulated, not the house itself. It would have been a disaster if they had done the upper level. The house is only 32 years old with 6 inches of fiberglass in the walls.

The crew left a mess of grout dust over my personal possessions and outside my house. This was especially problematic because I have wooden outdoor steps and railings. Water did not thoroughly wash away the dust and have spent many hours doing cleanup. All they needed to do was use tarps. I got the impression that the crew was eager to leave early. They even left a bucket, paint scraper and broom behind!
