Working at upwork for last 10 years as a Lead generator. Day by day upwork grew up also I grew up with.
As a full-time remote Lead Generator, I don't need to go to any other marketplace for looking for a job. A lot of clients post their job from whole over the world and we the freelancer providing the best support to them. Without upwork, it wasn't possible and won't be possible. Upwork is transparent for both parties client and freelancer. I'm glad to be a part of upwork.

Earning money is never been easy but this website gives you so much oppurtunities and also you can share you experience with others.

A client owes me 100$ for an underpaid work. Upwork bans me after I submit the work and tells me that if the client pays me, they collect 20% as fee. If the client doesnt pay me I can basically screw myself and cry about it. Winners are keepers, loosers are weepers. Not the exact words, but I cant explain the situation any better. Moreover, customer service gets judgmental on their silly rules rather than my earnings from hard work. My client ignores me, and Upwork doesnt give a $#*!. I am trying to haunt them on social media to remidn them of their responsability to do more for ensuring me one last payment pending. Dont wish to work for them anymore, but ensure my payment.

I have been on Upwork for about 8 years and so far I have gained lot of experience and success I actually could work so far over ******* hours only from hourly contracts and lord of other fixed price projects as well the reason for my success is I have always been honest to the upwork and for the clients that I'm dealing with.
While we are working If we face with any kind of issue we can have chat with the people of upwork any time from the live chat platform untill the issue is being resolved, the people we are chatting with very knowledgeable and friendly.
As a freelance I can strongly recommend upwok.

Upwork is a great place to source for professionals. As a lawyer, Upwork avails a platform to serve a global pool of clients who have the opportunity to review my services. Very disapointed upset and angry.
I hired a Freelancer to do some research. I provided clear guidelines as to the topic and information needed. Within 2 weeks reviewed the work provided - it was clear the Freelancer had not read the guidelines and the research provided was totally unuseable. They then began to bill for work that was not completed. Half way through the contract the Freelancer changed their name and location two times so the original person I contracted with did not appear to be the current person I was dealing with. Support from Upwork identified that the account and person had been banned even though they had opened up again under another name and location. No refund of funds. The whole set up appeared to be scammy. I have learned my lesson I will not use this platform again

I have been a freelancer for a very short time with UPWORK and no where are you able to reach out for assistance as a "Freelancer" to make sure you get paid. I have recently been engaged with two doctors from Washington to solicit and create a sponsorship package for their event in Martha's Vineyard, a "Mindfulness Retreat", Aeva Doomes. I was not paid and they ended contract. They were very hard to work with and very rude, sending threatening emails on time frames, etc. Upwork answered no outreach to assist.

Upwork has changed my life for better. Wonders happened when I joined upwork back in 2013 from Elance. Since then, I never looked back as a expert transcriptionist. I built a new home, I have good bank balance and I am planning to buy my second car. During the COVID crisis when the world is struggling, I am sitting at the comfort of my home and earning handsomely. Though its not the same as before, I am optimistic that things will change once the COVID ends. I am also now a Top Rated Plus freelancer. I accomplished a lot so far and it's all because of Upwork. I wish that Upwork continues to succeed for years to come.
