Have been asking about something now for a year and a half. I finally got an answer, and after all this time the company wants about $4000 from me. For some people who can't pick up a phone or email someone and come correct I don't trust your slack pathetic company with a $1
Never will you meet a more vile business practice than this website.
They buy up any domain in bulk that they can and then sell it at 1000x the price e.g. a 5 letter domain i was interested in which would normally cost $10 to register they wanted $5000.
Such scumbags.
These a**holes keep emailing me asking if I would like to purchase the domain I was interested in at a completely inflated price. Total scam company. $10,000 for a domain No freaking way. Apparently domain squatting is a new scam.
I have to say, their website is beautiful but more importantly it is incredibly fast. For instance when you do a domain name search for availability you don't need to press ok. Answers come right away. So it is really handy when you are looking for several word.
Then, their admin panel is really easy to read. I enjoyed the ID protection option. It works well and you know whether it is activated or not. You don't need to check in the whois to see whether you see your real address and email address.
Once again, when you are in admin panel, it is fast because everything is loaded at once. When you click on a tab for one domain, the info is displayed instantly.
Web severs owners will appreciate the fact that they can add IPV6 glue records to their server.
This company took my prospective domain name and tried to sell it back to me at an inflated price. I'd checked out the domain name which was available and went to Uniregistry to register it. But it was quite a catchy name and I got an email straight back saying it was taken. 'Coincidentally' they happened to own it - and could sell it to me. Turns out they'd instantly registered it themselves as soon as they saw my inquiry so they could boost the profit from registering it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I absolutely love uniregistry;
1) the support
2) never have had an issue
I had the opportunity to learn much from a gal named Judy, I believe, on the customer support team who helped me learn so much about what I was asking. I hadn't fully grasped the question, or what i didn't understand, and een though we deduced the issue wasn't related to uniregistry, she still took her time and her energy to help guide my questions.
She was so informative on possible issues, solutions, and how to handle them from other third party servers I had to leave a recommendation. She rules.
I purchased a domain espotting.com for $4500 and paid for uniregistry to register my account till 2025
Someone hacked into the account I had after I had strong password on it and google authenicator and deleted my account with out my permission and uniregistry refuses to help me at all
I want to complain about their lack of responsibility to investigate this and get my domain back. Its not fair
Thank you
NEVER allow your URL to laps as these vultures will swoop in and steal your URL. I started mine as a college student in 2015 and was - like many people - on pause during the pandemic. When I tried to renew my URL this company wanted $40,000 to buy it back... and I offer free information and services for small business owner - that amount is equal to my student loans so NO I can't pay that amount and will just start a new website. Mine was not a "TOP LEVEL" domain name at all. This is a horrible company. Kinda sucks that they are partnered with GO DADDY.
I was interested i a domain name that was taken in this website and tehy want to sell it to me for a minimum of 100.000 like what. Claiming that is a "premium" domain name omg. Im writing this so no one will fall for this type of bs. Normaly a domain cost 17.99 to 19.99 YEARLY so please dont purchase in that website
I must say this company is super fast in registry domains and making it better by provider great user interface which is easy to navigate.
Answer: Look up the information related to how CYBERSQUATTING is defined to answer the question of legitimacy here. It's one thing to jump ahead of a pack for words like "SEXY.com etc... and that is just being in the right place at the right time to resell common word URL's like that. Those would be defined as "HIGH LEVEL" URLs.
