Most Teacher who provide 1–1 / one-to-one tuition are Fake tutors. Difficult to find a Genuine experienced Teacher with real degree & experience. There are many Teacher pretend to have studied in prestigious college on a particular subject or degree. They clam that they working/worked as a teacher in prestigious private training institute.
Fake tutor teachers
1. Fake tutor never share their Linkedin profile, degree certificate or ID card of the institute in which they are working. They just send a resume/profile in document/pdf.
2. Fake tutor charge per hour bases and they just drag the topic or chapter so that they can give more hours of tuition to get more money.
3. Fake tutor never provide the plan on each topic or chapter wise in how many classes/hours the topic/chapter will get over because if they give then you will track the plan, so Fake teachers don't give the plan or number of classes that a topic/chapter will take even you insist.
4. They promise to take regular tests on biweekly basis or after completing each chapter which they don't do.
5. Fake Teachers wont provide feedback how student doing on 1–1 tuition as they are not concerned on how student grasp or understands the topic/chapter, they are only worried about hourly fees.
6. If the Fake teacher gets another student and is ready to give more fees per hour then they will leave the current student (i.e., could be you), if there is any clash on timing. Fake teachers are worried on money and not the damage that happens to student if they leave the student in-between.
7. If they get one more student with more fees and the new students asks the timeslot for tution as you are in then they will try to move your class here and there and then you have wait for them for the time to confirm by fake tutor.
8. Fake Tutor can stop classes without informing the students or student's parent with any reasons if they get new students and fake tutor dont have time.
I have been working with Saakhshi and Gagandeep as a freelancer for almost a year and as a full-time writer for less than a month. As a freelancer, I have never faced payment issues till date (which is extremely important factor to me as a freelancer). Saakhshi is very friendly and understanding because she has the ability to think from both ends, and her professional attitude and behaviour will make you want to work with her more.
On a positive note and experience, I am looking forward to a long-term association with their company :)
They are meagres paying minute money. The head Sakshi & Gagandeep are losers who fool around with writers. They are thief's, who do not pay writers and put wrongful deductions & penalties. They are dumb asses who do not know a word of english. Losers, pick pocters, idiots and total jerks. I advise no one to work here. They are just waste of time.
Teachers should avoid this website like the plague. It is a cattle Market where the teachers are the cattle, who have to pay for the privilege of contacting potential so-called students who mostly don't even have the good manners to reply. The website encourages an auction-like situation where teachers have to pay more and more exorbitant prices to contact students who may not even be genuine.
What students there may exist are often quite insincere and unclear about their needs and because they mostly do not have to pay they have very unrealistic expectations and a careless and insincere attitude towards finding a teacher.
I have seen ridiculous requests from students for example a high school student needing help with physics asking for a teacher with at least a PhD qualification in physics and offering them some ridiculous sum such as $5 an hour!
This dreadful website has some nice sounding words to try to convey the idea of being a professional mediator of teachers and students but the reality is it is a money making machine for itself exploiting teachers using insincere and possibly non-existent students to boost their coffers!
Saakshi & gagandeep are unfriednly and do not even know what is correct or wrong, they simply put deductions, penalties and even pay at 40paisa. They fool around and Gagandeep is permanently pregnant through brain. Unethical and unsystemtic, fraud people
Answer: I suspect it may be a scam as my experience 20 years as a teacher is that students will always at least be polite enough to reply to messages from a teacher. However on this website I have sent several messages to students with not even one single reply, this defies belief. So yes I think that's this website gets its money by creating fictitious students! The way this company makes their money is by auctioning so called students to teachers. So every new student is a money-making machine for the website. Sometimes you can see up to 10 teachers vying to make their services available to a single student. This is a lot of money coming into the website, all from teachers. So yes I think this website is certainly scamming in some situations
