I'm using the Screen Recorder. I have no idea if anyone else makes such a thing, but there can't be many, so TuneFab fills a probably overlooked niche. It does have several preference settings, and it is not that intuitive, but after a bit of practice it becomes easy enough to use.
The support is quite good. It did take a while before I got a response to a recent request, but I think that, like every other business, they are a bit overwhelmed working around the COVID thing. My recent request was that I had suffered a catastrophic disk crash, and I had to rebuild everything. I have good backups, so I was able to restore everything EXCEPT my license key for TuneFab. I didn't have my original order number either, only the email address I had used. Inez Miller responded and forwarded a new license key within one day.
It's a good product for the money.
The software works really well: I started a subscription to Spotify thanks to this program, and from now on, I'm pretty sure I will never stop the subscription.
I add new music to my library every week, and retrieve them offline, in case of...
This programs is a safeguard: I subscribed to Spotify because now I can trust I will never lose my songs if Spotify goes bankrupt: I have a backup laying around.
I had to reinstall Windows and the licence was not working anymore (already activated): I contacted the support and they gave me a new licence very quickly. Wonderful.
Instead of subscribing as Spotify premium, TuneFab lets me download Spotify and convert to mp3 as the original quality. And I have figured out that it is the only product on the Internet to get Spotify converted by customizing my conversion speed, from 1x to 5x. Not Bad, TuneFab! Let TuneFab be your music partner, trust me! It won't let you disappointed.
I downloaded the M4V converter looking to convert my purchased movies from iTunes to mp4 so I could put them on my android phone. I first used the trial version to make sure it worked as I tried 3 other products before this that all claimed they could perform the conversion but they couldn't. Finally, I tried TuneFab's product and was able to get the audio to convert and not the video. This is the farthest progress I made with any of the conversion programs so far so I contacted their support staff. After 10 emails back and forth, they got me up and running and stuck with me through a 2.5-week ordeal and I was finally able to convert my movies from m4v to mp4. I instantly purchased the M4V Converter because the program works well and the support staff were super helpful and stuck with me through the end to make sure I was able to do what I wanted.
Had a problem with one of their products, they sent me three new files to ensure that it was fixed which it was and now works perfectly! Excellent and speedy service, thanks very much to the team!
I need my activation code last weekend and the customer service agent just sent me in a minute. After that I realized they aren't work at weekend, but they are still very patient. Very professional!
I downloaded a converter to convert apple music, but it could not function. Nothing happened no matter how many times I clicked. The AMusicSoft Apple Music Converter I downloaded before is better.
TuneFab does what it promises and, in case of technical issues, customer service responds quickly and help you out.
I really appreciate TuneFab. I got a TuneFab M4V from Informer because I want to use my Android phone to enjoy my movies bought from iTunes. I have to say it works great. This program can legally remove the DRM from iTunes M4V videos and convert them to MP4 format. With all audiotrack and subtitles preserved, it is almost the same with original video including the video quality. The converted speed makes me excited. I love this TuneFab M4V Converter. It is amazing.
So when my firends suffered from the inconvenience of the Apple Music, I recommend TuneFab Apple Music Converter to her. Becuase I trust TuneFab. This Apple Music Converter is able to convert Apple Music songs to plain MP3, M4A, FLAC, etc. for listeing on any devices. In addition, it also can convert iTunes M4B as well as Audible AA/AAX audiobooks if you need to listen to audiobooks at anywhere. You don't need to worry about its output quality since it will preserve 100% lossless quality.
TunFab for Windows and Mac
I tested the software on both a fairly fast Windows and Mac.
Pros:
1) Works well does what it says converts to ACC and M4A files
2) Gives very good output file name options
3) Gives very good output quality options
4) Fast
Cons:
1) Takes over iTunes so that you cannot listen to music while it converts (The way that all music converters work. Which means it cannot convert multiple files at one time.)
2) Takes over 10 minutes to load a simple iTunes library on both Mac and Windows. (Deal breaker for me. Once it is running it converts fine)
3) Cannot hide iCloud files nor already converted files.
Compare to Sidify Apple Music Converter
1) Sidify opens the iTunes library immediately.
2) Sidify seems to convert faster.
3) Fabtunes has better output file naming convention.
4) Both require exclusive access to the iTunes library.
5) Both give you a free trail.
6) Create a iTunes Smart Playlist using the iCloud status and chose Apple Music as the status then if you want you can chose Purchase and set to false then you chose Date Added as within the last day. All this will create a Playlist that will let you have control on what is displayed in the programs.
Last comment before you buy a program see if it offers a free trial. Even if the trail only converts 3 minutes of the track it is worth the time and effort. I ultimately chose to purchase Sidify and resurrect an old Windows 10 machine that I recently retire and connect it to my iTunes library. So that my Mac the computer where my main library is own and where I play most of my music from can be used for that purpose.
I hope this review helps.
Pros:
• The support team quickly responds to your questions and is friendly when doing so.
• You can convert a large number of tunes in one sitting.
Cons:
• You need to be sent a new license key if you ever change or reinstall your computer. Practically nobody does this ancient method anymore.
• The fact that you only get 1:1 time transfer on a Mac, but are able to get as fast as 16X on a Windows machine just demonstrates lazy inattention to a brand of computer that comes from a 2 TRILLION dollar company.
• It adds a virtual audio driver that completely disables all of your other audio, so if you want to listen to anything on your computer while it's doing it's "real time" conversion, then you're out of luck.
The thing that's most frustrating about the "cons" above is that all of them don't exist on another converter that I use: it doesn't make you ask for a new key whenever you make computer changes; it converts extremely quickly (over 10X) on a Mac; and you don't have any new driver additions that hijack your audio, so I know that it can be done. Maybe they need to dissect some TunePat software to find out what they're doing correctly. The only thing that TunePat does poorly is that it hangs if you have too many tunes to convert from one release - usually over 50 or so tunes. For TuneFab, I tried one release that had 193 tunes and, so far, (because it's taken over 14 hours time), it has converted 175 of them (BTW, even with so many tunes from one release, it's possible to just divide it up into, say, 4 batches and it would STILL take less time than TuneFab).
Anyway, I wish them luck, but they really do need to check out some other converters that are out there and dig deeper into how they are able to get around these ridiculous aspects of their own software.
Support will not contact you back. Software is locked and wants access to your personal info when requesting support (pc name, ip address, physical location) just to name a few. The company operates out of India so beware!
The free version seemed to run through multiple songs in one go just fine, so I thought okay cool i'll get the paid version I've seen enough. Boy was I wrong. They sucker you in and then give you a borderline unusable product. I have hundreds of songs to convert, and if I have to sit here and refresh the library after each song it will take forever. If I wanted to do this slowly and manually, I could have just recorded the songs by hand myself with Audacity for free. The most I've gotten is 4 songs in one go without any additional input from the Itunes converter. Most times, it converts one song and then randomly hangs up. Or it will give "Track Deleted" or "Playback Err" and stop the whole thing. I'd save your money and look elsewhere, I know I regret my purchase already.
Customer service is email based. When submitting a request it initially took nearly 2 weeks (Dec 18-30) to receive a reply. The reply was not helpful at all. I've gone back and forth with them multiple times trying to get a refund for something that didn't work. I found a solution that did work, WinX Media Trans. I lost $45 and the only thing I can do is try to prevent someone else from losing any money. Find another solution.
I found TuneFab after googling software that converts Spotify songs and clicking into an "article" ranking available software that turned out to be written by TuneFab as a deceptive way to get downloads. Paid for the full version and it had multiple bugs that prevented it from working at all. Contacted support and received a couple of responses over the course of a month that did not solve any of the issues, before they stopped responding entirely. A request for a refund under their refund policy also went unanswered. And if TuneFab responds - yes I meet the refund conditions, and yes I am on the right platform/machine/etc. I'm a computer programmer, and this is clearly product error, not user error.
Horribly unhelpful support staff. Refund is almost impossible to get, even if the software is not compatible with your system. Some places on the website say "compatible with MacOS and Windows" BUT it is NOT compatible with up-to-date Macs. After several hours spent trying to get a refund, I have been denied. Horrible company; don't give them your business.
Stay away from TuneFab. The quality is horrible and far worst than any of its competitors. Cannot understand some positive reviews since the quality is obviously worst. It basically forces iTunes to play the song and record it using your sound card. Others uses a similar process but they add some digital processing which gives closer quality compared to the original. Anyone who gives good reviews to Tunefab either converted and didn't play the song after or is biased.
Bought this too convert a long audio track. Tried the free 3 minute version and it was the only one that actually worked. So I bought the 1 month version, registered and unlocked I tried it on the full track and it was hopeless. Started mid track and only converted a few minutes. Tried many times, same result. Then found that what I thought was a one off payment had been set up in paypal by tunefab and without my agreement as a repeat payment! Cancelled that with paypal, tried tunefab customer service but useless generic replies only. Maybe it will work for you, but be warned.
I purchased 1 mo of Tune Fab svc it never worked correctly Fr the get go. I asked 4 help and was just told to reinstall the software which I did twice. It never fixed the problem. I've asked 4 a refund which Nvr happened and they cut off communication w/me since. Not happy :( i reinstall many times didnt work..
Answer: Dear, Sander. Thank you for contacting TuneFab support. Would you please try the 3. 1. 5 and then see if your problem is fixed? Thanks!
Answer: Extremely easy. I worked with them for a 2.5 week period to get my program up and running. They were super helpful.
Answer: Yes, it is a legitimate company. I have Screen Recorder, and it is a legitimate and useful product. They seem to have only one person as the initial point of contact, so sometimes they don't get back to you immediately, but they eventually will.
Answer: Hello, Leah, Could you please tell us the following information: #1. What's the version number of your TuneFab Apple Music Converter or TuneFab Spotify Music Converter? #2. What's the version number of your iTunes or Spotify? #3. What's the operating system of your computer? #4. Is there any error message occur? If you are running the TuneFab Apple Music Converter: To make sure that the software works properly, please make sure that you are using the latest version of the software and iTunes. And all the songs need to be downloaded from cloud before conversion. Please update both iTunes and TuneFab to the latest version. You can get the latest version of TuneFab from our official website. If you are running the TuneFab Spotify Music Converter: Please make sure to download the Spotify app from the Spotify website rather than from the Windows store, which will reduce the error happened when converting the music.
