Been using Tube Depot for several years now. They always have what I need and their customer service is excellent! I highly recommend them for your tube or tube amplifier needs!
I talked to Michelle and she was very polite and got me my refund for a defective item. She said "we'll have another sent to you" I said that I would rather have a refund. She said "no problem I'll send you a shipping label". As soon as we were off the phone I had the label. Easiest return I have ever made from an online purchase. Will definitely be getting my tube rolling business in the future!
I had a concern about replacing filter capacitors and was uncertain as to how to proceed. They answered my question almost immediately.
Ordered a new tube for a vintage fender amp. Easy to deal with and shipped very fast! Tube was packaged well and they also include a sticker! What musician doesn't love a free sticker! Will definitely purchase more from TubeDepot.
Very helpful - I needed to make a couple changes on my order - adding it to my account rather than having it under a guest account - and upgrading my shipping to get my tubes next day. They even provide alternatives to the standard OEM suggested tubes, and they're not marked up as much as other suppliers. I will definitely be sourcing all my tubes through TubeDepot from this point forward!
After purchasing Willsenton r8. I discovered Tube Depot for tube rolling this amp... after calling and talking with customer service (Michelle)... I was recommended Tung Sol power tubes for cost and preformance... after unpacking the tubes and plug them in AND letting them "Burn in" for 48hrs...-Wow what an improvement to sound stage and detail,,, Tube Depot... are tube enthusiast and know their products to fit into your budget and sonic needs-Highly Recommended!
Ordered tube pair, quick shipping, unfortunately one tube arrived "bad". I explained the situation to them and was immediately sent a replacement tube. Great experience, they made things right quickly.

You can get preamp tubes that are tested for low micro phonic tendencies, gain and matched.
They even have some tubes that are obscure. For example I needed two 6AK5 preamp tubes for my headphone amplifier. I received New old stock General Electric preamp tubes. Sounds much better then the tubes that came with it.
My issues were slow shipping on one order and one tube arrived bad. USPS was to blame for the slow ship, and TD took care of the bad tube asap. The quality otherwise and the knowledge and helpfulness of product and staff seems purposely top notch. I would advise using the FedEx two day option which was only 10 bucks and well worth it unless you want to wait on USPS free shipping. I think the pricing and availability of New and NOS tubes is very competitive, and in many cases, the best available.
I have done business with Tubedepot a few times... always fast delivery. My last order had an order mix up. I reached out to them and with no hassel and speedy response, my order was fixed. That is the difference between good service and GREAT service.

I had bought vacuum tubes from Tube Depot a few times and all the tubes received were in ‘very very good' quality. They were well packed, fast shipping and delivery time was reasonable. I had also use their customer service a few times and they always reply promptly. In one occasion, a pair of tubes that I back ordered experienced late delivery from supplier, I decided to cancel the order and they immediately processed the refund. First Class Tubes Seller, no doubt about that.

I've been dealing with Tube Depot for several years now. Their products and customer service are top notch. Shipping is unbelievably fast. Pricing is competitive. They are my first choice when I need tubes for antique electronics restorations or new builds (like stereo amplifiers).

In this day and age of 1) getting past a robot to talk to a live person and/or B) having to draw a picture to describe what you need help with, it was truly a joy to be greeted by a live person who understood my question on the first pass. I ordered an SSR a while back and it was causing the fuse to blow in two different units. I contacted
TubeDepot and they sent me a new unit that worked just fine.

I bought three Genalex Gold Lion tubes for a Fender Super Champ X2 amp. Matched tubes, 24 hours burned and low noise options.
They send the tubes in a big box. Inside of the box these tubes were wrapped with paper and these guys used a mininum of plastic, very eco-friendly. Really cool!
About the quality. I´m not sure because this is my second experience buying tubes in my life. I just can say I feel sounds smoother, lesser harsh. I asked my wife if she feels the same and tell me: cleaner tones
Anyway, I need more time to try the amp with differente voices just to make sure and swap the speaker for a real one. I'm still skeptical, but it seems an upgrade!

These tubes are still working with beautiful harmonics. Using Jensen P10R speaker.
Definitely, this amp sounds better with Genalex Gold Lion in comparison to the GT valves.
