I left a review and they gave the company my contact info so they could get in touch with me which I thought was not good practice at all. Then harassed me for trying not sending them proof about my claim which it was for a career website so not sure how to verify my claim when I had a poor experience. I finally told them to take the review down because they wouldn't stop harassing me about it.
I wrote a negative review about a company that scammed me. Trust Pilot waited over a year later, to email me, informing me that my review was deleted due to lack of proof of my transaction. They requested proof of order ID, I emailed them back with original emails, including receipts, order numbers, conversations etc. They responded to all four of my emails, with an automated message, telling me to contact the help center, if I'd like to get in touch. I contacted the center, then they emailed me claiming they hadn't received any of the my emails. Then they gave me a three day deadline to provide screenshots. Why would you deleted my review prior to getting proof? Why would you wait an entire year, when most people don't keep records that long? Why give me a deadline, and make it so difficult to send proof. It doesn't seem like they want my review up. Very dishonest.
I made a online purchase at linentablecloths.com. What was sent to me was
cheap material. Asking for a refund I was told if opened it's not returnable. They talked on return fees and denied my return as it would be $10. My whole order was $30. I posted that on trust pilot and they replied that linentablecloths found it defamatory so it was taken down
Allowing reviews to be published on a company without any proof, checks that the review is real or indeed that company having an account with Trustpilot, is nothing short of criminal. They allow a review to be published in an effort to attract that company into opening an account to gain more reviews, to compensate for an initial fake negative one which has been published. Shocking procedure.
I have fought with Trustpilot over honest reviews I placed against a certain company for months. I have rewrote the reviews over and over. I know very well how to write a review without slander and remember, slander is making a false statement. And I know how to state the facts and the truth especially when I have documents to prove my complaint. It is my opinion that Trustpilot is enabling scammers who pay to be their clients. Trustpilot is protecting these clients by removing honest unhappy reviews. Oddly, posting honest reviews is what Trustpilot advertises itself as doing but they have me fooled. I personally would look elsewhere for an honest review.
I have written many reviews on Trustpilot over a number of years however they contacted me after I submitted a recent review telling me that their software had detected that my review was spam. What absolute nonsense! This review was a genuine account (like ALL my reviews) of my experience with a footwear company. They wanted me to send them documentation to verify my review. I almost felt I was having to beg them to put my review back online! I see that other people have had the same problem with Trustpilot. I told them I had no intention of doing this and that I would submit my reviews on other websites in future and asked them to delete my Trustpilot account. They replied telling me I could go on to my Trustpilot account and delete my details myself or I could contact them if I needed help with this. Well, it's a little difficult to log into my Trustpilot account in order to delete it when THEY have suspended my account. Idiots!
We lost a big money to www.paytiz.com. We asked our refund. Already updated to all proofs to trustpilot. We have all personal emails screenshots. This scammer got money from the paytiz and deleted our 700 reviews. We will write here against trustpilot main rather than paytiz. Com. Note this
I don't know who Trustpilot is but they seem to represent uspany who I ordered an outdoor canopy covered daybed with pillows. It never arrived but they are still selling the item & reviews from others are very bad. Still hopeful.
Trustpilot is the worst review website ever, they charge businesses to allow them to take down the reviews they do not like. I will make a formal complaint to the Bundeskartellamt which is the authority for fair competition in the open market. Please do not use Trustpilot they will delete your review and let businesses use their platform for fake reviews.
People basically use this platform to leave negative feedback to their competition. The company does not show adequate concern for their customers and passes you around from rep to rep without telling you.
I made a review on a company a year or so ago and they out of the blue threatened to take down my review if I didn't provide verification for my experience. So I provided verification, but then a couple weeks later they notify me again saying if I don't provide proof, they will take down my review in 3 days! I already provided proof and told them but they still threatened to take down the review! I am speculating that they try and take down lower star reviews to try and inflate the ratings of their companies. Trustpilot is a horrible and untrustworthy company.
I wrote a review about socialsinq because they have been taking my money for mos for no services rendered after they turned me away and Trustpilot removed it after a couple of hours. They are a joke, consumers, don't leave reviews on that site. They are a joke for us consumers.
By this I mean if an online company appears on Trust Pilot with a high rating then you can 1. Ignore it (recommended) or 2. Take it the opposite way, that a good review ON TRUST PILOT means a scam. TP (toilet paper?) has taken the money to lie lie lie. You cant take the pie out of pilot.
They removed my review, of one of their paying companies. I told them how to see the proof of a company being a scam. After a bunch of double talk, they thanked me and removed my 1 star review. Read the five star reviews. They sound like somebody holding a dictionary while writing.
Used them in the past leaving positive and negative reviews. Haven't used them in over a year. A week ago I left a negative review on a company I wasn't happy with there service from experience. Went up with no problems. A week later they are looking to remove the review if I don't provide evidence. I asked if they review the positive for evidence or is it just the negatives.
Judging by experience I can only assume they remove negative feedback for companies so no longer providing a accurate profile of a company. I no longer trust pilot and have decided against providing information to themselves. Even though my review was genuine if they don't verify the positives and only question the negatives and remove negative comments then no wonder so many big companies are 4* plus rather then below this due to impartiality practice. Good bye trustpilot.
I find sites with great reviews and then below horrible reviews that do not add to the average. Instead there are automatic reviews of the same site within minutes to an hour pumping the average artificially!
Trustpilot.com removed my review of primestyle.com for no good reason, they just kept telling me I had to change it, but it's obvious now they were just never going to allow a review of primestyle.com, you can decide for yourself why. I know why.
Trust pilot takes down anything detrimental about the businesses that pay them.
If you see a Trust pilot review, best not use the company it gives 4 or 5 stars toooooo
I wrote ten reviews same company all the five stars remain all the less than 4 have been removed!
The positive reviews I wrote were quickly published... but then a negative one I wrote about Lendy, just seems to be held up with a never ending;
"This might take a while - We'll email you when it's live" message.
When site only publishes "good" reviews, its hardly to be trusted.
I wrote a really positive review about a small business. Almost two years later Trust Pilot integrity content team contacted me to say it had suspended my review and wanted proof of purchase. I sent the relevant emails of my order & purchase but it was adamant that this was not enough evidence and proceededtoremove my review. The whole experience was very odd to say the least! I have since unsubscribed from their website & no longer bother to write reviews good or bad, as I don't believe that they are trustworthy or truly impartial. Indeed, had it been a positive review of a company that pays them big bucks, I've no doubt my review would have remained unchallenged!
Answer: Simple it is their website so they remove reviews that are negative just like how they let complains report negative reviews on their website. Trustpilot is not a good website the company allows companys to report reviews and since the companys pay them many reviews are taken off and removed..
