I left my honest opinion ( a negative one) for FETCH pet insurance on Trustpilot. A couple of days later Trustpilot reached out to me that Fetch flagged my review as a fake experience and requested documents that I can prove that my experience was a real one otherwise the review will be deleted. So I sent the screen shot of my FETCH app account that had my policy info and everything, they got back saying no we couldn't find the company name on the screenshot ( the name is there btw) so this time I sent them my entire policy documents but ridiculously enough they got back to me again that they couldn't find the company name on the doc, ridiculously obvious that they didn't go through what I sent So to make the story short it was an automated message all along Trustpilot is a corrupted system that get paid by these corporations to scam people by removing the negative experiences, that's how I got convinced to sign up with FETCH in the first place reading the positive reviews that now I know were all fabricated lies to attract buyers and steal their money.

So I interacted with a company for depressed people called joyous. It was not joyous and I wrote a review to that. Since then. I've gotten harassing emails from joyous and trust pilot to change this or it will not be posted.

They "review" only negative reviews and keep online only the positive ones. You either have to investigate all the reviews, or none of them. Otherwise you 're a scam.

Every time i leave a review for Yodel on Trustpilot it is removed. I have had deliveries from Yodel almost weekly and my comment just says the courier is always polite and friendly. Then my review is removed. I don't think that they like Yodel.

As a customer, I expect a certain level of sincerity and professionalism from companies, especially those that promote genuine customer experiences. Unfortunately, my interactions with this company have been utterly disappointing, characterized by a lack of real communication and a failure to adhere to their own stated guidelines.

I approached the company with a serious concern that directly contradicted their community guidelines. Rather than receiving a thoughtful response, I was met with robotic, automated replies. These messages, which were ostensibly translated into Danish, failed to address the specific issues I raised. It's perplexing and frustrating to receive a response in a language that suggests no genuine effort to understand my initial communication.

Furthermore, the company's reliance on automated responses underlines a significant gap between their professed values and actual practices. It's disheartening to see a company talk about authenticity and customer engagement, only to hide behind generic, automated messages that offer no real solutions or acknowledgments of the problem.

The irony is that their replies often reference their guidelines and rules, which, from my experience, they don't seem to follow themselves. This contradiction not only undermines their credibility but also highlights a worrying lack of accountability.

For a company that is part of a platform like Trustpilot, which is designed to foster transparency and honest feedback, this behavior is particularly concerning. It's essential for such platforms to represent companies that genuinely interact and engage with their customers. Unfortunately, this has not been my experience.

In conclusion, I am left with a sense of profound disappointment and frustration. The service I received was far from the sincere, problem-solving approach I expected. If the company is genuinely interested in improving and upholding its standards, I urge them to reevaluate their customer interaction strategies and start practicing what they preach. Until then, I can only advise others to approach this company with caution.

Trustpilot have a major problem with fraud and fake reviews on their website. I found out someone has listed over 1000 duplicate listings and claiming to be the "official" website.

Incredible that someone can do this over 1000 times and not get caught by any filter at Trustpilot.

Every single listing has the same words and 3 tick marks added to the name, so it's very easy to find yet Trustpilot completely failed to do so. All these listings have URLs that are subdomains so it's obviously not the official site and the subdomains redirect automatically to another third party site.
By the way most of these listings are promoting scams anyway...

When I made them aware of this they said they will only look into it if I submit a whistleblower form for each listing! Are they insane? For 1000 listings that would take me days - do they really expect an unpaid member of the public to do the job of their paid employees for them!?

The other major issue is companies using fake Trustpilot TrustScores and review counts. When I have left reviews pointing this out MY review is deleted. Obviously fake positive reviews however are not. You would think Trustpilot would have an issue with the company damaging their brand by using fake Trustpilot data on dozens of websites but no, their issue is with me and my review for pointing this out!

Bias reviewing
January 3, 2024

Trustpilot is meant to help consumers make an informed decision about places to visit and purchases.

However they have no support for the reviewers giving them unreasonable times scales to prove their case and closing removing reviews before they even been able to supply the evidence. They make no reasonable adjustments or have any contact lines to discuss with a handler. Despite asking for assistance they take the side of the retailers. They didn't wait any time or extend due to needing more time they simply removed my review and took side of the retailer. This can leave more vulnerable people to being subjected to the same situation as my mother, let the buyers decide not trust pilot.

If a business pays for a business account, they can request the removal of reviews by requiring customers to jump through hoops to prove their authenticity. It's evident that they intentionally leave these reviews up for an extended period, only removing them after six months, banking on the likelihood that the reviewer won't revisit the issue once emotions have subsided. Use Google as you review platform they won't remove them for money.

…because trustpilot couldn't verify its validity. In an email to me, they expressed "confidence" in the software they used to make that determination. I replied that their confidence is misplaced. I have no need for or interest in trustpilot. I left a review because the site owner asked users to do so. I left a positive, 5 star review because i love the site! That's the extent of my experience with trustpilot. Upside: if i encounter (i won't go looking for it) a trustpilot review regarding something i'm interested in, i'll now know to disregard it.

I realsly cannnot believe the ordeal I have just had to go through. I put a 1 star negative review about Hyperoptic Boradband due to a rude customer service agent, and Trustpilot are asking me for proof the phone call even took place by asking for stupid things that have no relevance to a phone call, such as order confirmations, invoice of receipts, delivery notes or reports, screen shots and email conversations. They are totally ignoring the fact this was in relation to a rude representative of the company.

They are actually removing negative reviews from companies, to give a false image of companies. It's absultely discraceful. They say they are a legit trustworthy company, yet they are going around deleting any negative reviews for businesses.

They certainly won't be going around asking people to proove their experience for positive reviews.

It's an absolute discrace, and Trustpilot should be ashamed of themselves. I fully intend to expose them on BBC Watchdog, and national news papers.

My review about a company was removed without me receiving even a notification. I noticed and provided proof and it was reinstated. The company in question however have a load of fake reviews, they are not validated and use names like 'Happy customer'. In addition there are a load of reviews that are written by persons that work with the company in question. Their own terms of service write that biased reviews are not allowed and that 'if you're closely associated with, work for, or are in competition with a particular company, you shouldn't review it'. Despite this, a vast amount of their positive reviews are by people with contracts with the company who are reliant on work from this company and clearly have a vested interest in maintaining good relations. I sent a list of all these reviews; they clearly state in the review where this is the case. I got a generic reply asking me for more information which is exactly what they sent me prior to me sending the list. They sent me a further generic reply indicating again that they had not even looked at what was sent. It is clear that this company pays for additional services and trust pilot absolutely favours them. I have provided them with clear proof their terms are being contravened which they choose to ignore but they are happy enough to immediately remove genuine reviews on companies that pay them for additional services without even notififying the person so they have a chance to respond. Absolutely unscrupulous enterprise that lacks any inegrity, claiming to do the exact reverse of what they actually practice.

Personal information scam
December 20, 2023

The company used my personal information answering my strongly negative review. Hend B. From Trustpilot, he seems to be a wanker from the UK, living somewhere in the suburbs of Manchester, being 25 years old, single, Anglican, deemed it okay of the company to use my personal information in the answer. Total disgrace of a company. As a result, I was forced to delete my Trust pilot account as they allow content with your personal information being publicly exposed. They've scammed me into verifying my account on their website with my real ID too and then refused to protect my personal information. Good luck with your incompetent employees, Trustpilot, you can't be trusted.

The fact is the truth hurts. And us as the public are not allowed to give our feedback and experience. This because these individuals who are a bad apple are giving these organisations a bad reputation. So pleased don't tell me about integrity of the contents public write about these organisations.
Maybe if these organisations did there jobs as they're supposed to, then these organisations would not get such bad publicity.
I have a right to express my experiences, due to the fact this how these organisations behave. I'm only speaking the truth.
And trust pilot did publish my experiences because I have the evidence to prove it. So why did trust pilot publish my experiences?
Don't journalists publish facts of certain individuals? So why have reviews if no one is allowed to use their bad experiences.

Trustpilot blindly removes our genuine reviews when deceived by companies
I am extremely disappointed with this platform as it consistently removes our honest reviews. It seems they are easily deceived and bullied by companies that receive negative feedback, and without proper investigation, they promptly eliminate our reviews. Additionally, Trustpilot's customer service is terrible, as they do not even bother replying to our emails.

Recently, I had a similar experience with Trustpilot. I plan to share my experience online, through blogs and by presenting evidence of a genuine review about Flymedi being unjustifiably removed. I was shocked when Trustpilot informed me that my review had been flagged by a company desperate to maintain their 4.7 rating by getting rid of negative reviews.

Trustpilot removed my review despite the fact that the company had already responded to it, implying that they embraced and accepted the review without objection. Without delay, I appealed to Trustpilot and provided them with proof that I had indeed received treatment from this company. Some of the evidence I provided was personal and contained sensitive information, such as my address.

Time passed, and I received no response from Trustpilot. I followed up multiple times with additional emails, urging them to reply and provide me with information about the complaint process, but they never got back to me.

Today, I am resorting to the power of this review to fight back and implore Trustpilot to reconsider their decision and reinstate my review promptly. I strongly believe that other customers can benefit from my experience with dental treatment, but they are being deprived of this valuable information as my review remains hidden.

Furthermore, I would like to appeal to Trustpilot to review their system. When a company flags a review, Trustpilot should challenge them first by asking for an explanation as to why they believe the review should be removed. If the company's statement turns out to be false, for example, if they claim that the reviewer did not engage with them, the company should be held accountable, and Trustpilot should refrain from taking action if they flag reviews in the future.

It is unfortunate that a company that claims to publish genuine reviews is responsible for removing hundreds of authentic ones. As someone who fights for justice, I have decided to challenge this decision. However, there are likely hundreds, if not thousands, of other reviewers who do not have the time or patience to go through the extensive appeal process, especially considering Trustpilot's lack of response or acknowledgement of correspondence. This raises serious concerns about their customer service.
