I was on the phone 45+ min with them to cancel my booking, which was made WITHIN their deadline. I ultimately needed to escalate the request to a supervisor when the initial rep who answered refused to cancel and issue my refund, continuing to argue with me. Problem was their cancellation policy was contradictory and vague, yet their representative was attempting to enforce it (incorrectly) against me. Unbelievable. I normally do not write reviews but, here, I'll make an exception. This place was so bad that I feel like I need to save others from a terrible experience.
Wife and daughter stayed at the radisson hotel austin university, they do not tell you the hotel is under renovation, but no work was happening just disgusting. False 3 star, more like 1 star.

Additional fees that they don't disclose to you in the confirmation email - you only see it once you go to the booking page that there are additional payments that are expected to be made once you physically check in to the hotel. Customer service is a joke, talk in circles, declined my request for refund even though I called literally within minutes of booking. They also declined my request to speak to a supervisor, or even escalate the issue. Currently trying to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
I used traveluro because they were the cheapest, and I completely regret it! I called to cancel and get a refund because my wife had emergency surgery and I could no longer make the trip. They only answered the phone one time then communicated with emails. I have since called them 40 times and no one will answer no matter what number I push for the automated service. Ridiculous that a company would block a customer! They stopped returning my emails and I ended up losing $200. This company is a complete scam and waste of your time! Do yourself a favor, and do not ever use traveluro no matter how cheap they are! I give them negative 5 stars!
You book a hotel rate that is 1/2 the price of other sites but then they refund/cancel you the next day for no reason but offer you $39 credit for the inconvenience. But also now have all your information and cc#. Seems a scam. Avoid.
I booked a hotel for me and my friend for one night in London but arrived to find out that the hotel had been closed for 6 months and was going to be closed for another 3 years. They did not 'guarantee' relocation and did not relocate us. Leaving us stranded in the middle of London with nowhere to stay and a flight the next day. We got a refund but were literally left sleeping on the streets. No compensation or concern for our safety/well being.
Originally, I had posted that this company is a complete scam. That's because when I showed up to my hotel, there was no reservation for me. For weeks, they either didn't pick up the phone, hung up on me, and stopped replying to my emails. After writing this review and another on trustpilot, they finally issued me a refund. But unfortunately, I'm still not convinced this is a legitimate company. I would highly recommend going elsewhere.
Traveluro has the worst customer service! They advertised a 2 queen bed room in which I paid a premium for in Tokyo, Japan at Park Tokyo Hotel. I needed 2 queen beds as I was traveling with family.
When I got to the hotel it was about 3pm to check in and the hotel gave us a room with only 1 queen bed. The hotel said they don't have any rooms with 2 queen beds and that Traveluro falsely advertised rooms with 2 queen beds.
I called Traveluro customer service by 4pm to either get a refund or a room with 2 queens. Mind you I'm with my 80 yr old mom and 6 year daughter. They said they would escalate the issue and call us back.
Time is money when you're on vacation and traveling with limited days. We never got an answer from customer service that entire day until the next day! We had to take a dirty room with 2 twin beds that had to fit 2 people on a twin while waiting for Traveluro to call us back!
They called the next morning and still did not resolve the issue. The hotel did their best to work with us even though this was Traveluros fault for selling a room that doesn't even exist!
DO NOT BOOK WITH TRAVELURO! They will sell you a room that doesn't exist for $1000 and not even try to help fix their mistake!
After I paid for my hotel reservation, I received an email and text messages confirming that my booking was complete and fully paid for. When I got to the hotel, it turns out there were hidden fees they hadn't included, nor had they notified me about them. I believe they withheld them from the original price to make their offer more competitive. This is misleading to say the least.
We booked online with them but they changed the date that we requested and after booking when we realized they refused to give us a refund! Scam site…we called our credit card company to dispute the charges.
I booked a room for the wrong date by accident and the company refused to change it. I paid the full price and lost my entire money because of that. The company was very rude about making the change they didn't accommodate me what so ever. I recommend people not to order ever from this company because they are a scam
This website is a scam! They will take your money and not pay for the hotel room you've booked. We arrived at the hotel we booked through them with the confirmation they said the booking company's card keeps declining on a 40$ room we tried to call them multiple times, they will put you on hold and hang up on you after 2 rings. I'm convinced anyone leaving a good review for them is in on the scam. I'm talking to the better business bureau tomorrow I suggest anyone else who's went through this should do the same thing. I really hope no one else has to go through this.
I had never heard of this company and read some lousy reviews and wanted to add the good experience I had with them. I booked a hotel and everything went normal! I'll try to use them again as they had a considerably lower price than everyone else, even after I "tipped" them.
Have never had a problem with booking agencies in the past and this was my first time using them and we needed to change our dates and I sent multiple emails and multiple calls and never got a hold of anybody and nobody reached out to me
Traveluro is illegally selling hotel plans through False Advertisement and lies. I had to pay in a 3 night plan, an extra 30% for "fees" that Traveluro don't let me know. I call to customer service and nobody take the phone. Be carefully, traveluro doesn't care the way how to sell even if it is an illegal way to do it
I wish I read the reviews before I gave them my American Express. They have jerked me around for days they ruined my weekend and a lot of back-and-forth aggravation on the telephone. In the end it cost me so much more to have the hotel reservation because it was now last minute and it wasn't done through travel euro they lie they cheat and they will steal your money.
Booked a hotel stay. Tried to cancel before free cancellation period is up. The "Manage booking" button doesn't give you "Cancel" option, instead, it gives only 3 options: Send confrimation; Send receipt; View price detail. So I called customer service that I found by googling. Guess what? Automatic disconnect after long hold. I had to call my credit card company to dispute the charge and leave a record of my calling time which is before free-cancel deadline.

Now they literally must be screening my phone number, because they won't answer or respond to emails. Still no refund.
On your blasted website, you promised me a fully refundable booking with free cancellation. Since then, I've been trying relentlessly to cancel my booking, only to hit a wall every single time. Today, which happens to be the booking date, I still haven't been able to reach Traveluro.com on their customer care number for assistance with my cancellation. This is outright FRAUD! If I had known about this level of pathetic service and deceitful information just to lure unsuspecting customers into booking, I would have never chosen your sorry excuse for a booking platform. I made a human error over the weekend and they act like they don't make no human errors and that they're perfect they're just a bunch of crooks that always want to throw out their policies but then I bet you when they go someplace else and people throw out their policies they try to actually get their money back it's all right this website is terrible and I hope that nobody uses this place ever again because for a place to tell us that they can't do nothing and people have human errors is not a great place to be at
