I booked a room, thinking it was for the date i had needed before our flight. Turns out its the day of the flight. I contacted directly after i seen the confirmatoon date as soon as i paid.I asked if it can be changed to the day prior. Its not like it was a day or so later, it was literally minutes after i booked. Nope, not at all. Wont giv this business my business again.
Made a hotel reservation through Traveluro and received all confirmations including a reminder about my stay a day before it was reserved for. When I came to the hotel I was informed that my reservation was cancelled by Traveluro a week after it was made. Luckily hotel had a room available, but at a higher rate than I paid Traveluro. I spent over an hour on the phone with Traveluro service reps, but couldn't get any explanation of the cancellation. I was promised a call back from an escalation department, but no one called me back. I had to call back multiple times just to request a return of my money. I was requested to send Traveluro my hotel bill, which I did. Still no apology, no compensation, huge aggravation. I submitted a dispute for the Traveluro charges to my credit card.
Terrible service. Hidden fees, customer service is nonexistent. Changed my dates without my permission, went from 6 nights to 4 and didn't even refund the difference. They are a legit scam.
Traveluro intentionally refuses to refund money on stays that are canceled. They torment you by putting you on hold and claiming they are going to cancel and then they never resolve the situation. Do not use this company. Horrible.
I had reserved 5 nites in JW Mariott in Cancun few month ahead of travel and prepaid. Had confirmation and receipt. On checking in, w service dog, found out they cancelled all nites without notification or money return. Had called their line twice, and front deck another 2 times, after greeting and providing choices, press1 if need this and 2 if you need that, they just were hanging up. After hour of this stress I had to make reservation on another site, which was more expensive, and proceed w checking in. Stay away from traveluro. Scam artists. Disputed w card.
Used this company to book a hotel in Kissimmee Florida. I booked a King Bed room when I checked in the hotel gave us a double bed room. The hotel stated that this company booked it wrong and I am getting what they booked. As I attempted to call them there was no answer. I emailed them to tell them about this and they responded back that they gave me what I booked, yet my verification states King room.
They will not assist me with any refund.
DO NOT USE THEM, if they mess up they will not admit to it.
I had an emergency and couldn't make my booking. I contacted Travel Euro they told me they would try to get my money back. The process was suppose to take 24-48hrs. I never heard back from them. I had to contact them just for them to say they couldn't do anything for me.I will never use their services again. I will stick to Hotel.com or something.
I came down with COVID the week that I was supposed to travel, so I tried to push our hotel reservation back. The hotel said I had to contact Traveluro, so I first tried the website, and it said that it was non-refundable, and would not let me change the dates. So I called Traveluro and followed the prompts to talk to the right agent, and then it connected and hung up. I continued to try and, each time, it connected and I got hung up on. So I reached out to them again through the website in case it was an error, but did not hear back. I'm in the process of blocking the charge on my card because this isn't right. Big takeaway: never do nonrefundable reservations (if you can avoid it).
Blood and Urine Comforters...
The hotel we stayed at put us in a room with bloody comforters and pee stains. The Front Desk Manager was going to credit me for the stay but said I had to call Traveluro, have them call her to get compensated. It's been over a week and no word from Traveluro but I have been In touch with the actual hotel and Manager. Traveluro was QUICK to snatch my money but stringing me along when it comes to refunding me! This is my 1st and last time dealing with Traveluro! They don't even deserve 1 star but I had to give them 1. THE WORST EVER! CROOKS!
I really wish I could give 0 stars. I booked with Traveluro just to get scammed out of $150. The hotel I booked using Traveluro had no record on file. I've requested a refund numerous times from Traveluro just to be told they are unable to refund do to the hotel not honoring my request. What? I'm not trying to get a refund from the hotel. I was totally SCAMMED!
I booked a hotel in July for mid-Aug, I called to hotel to confirm reservations and payment because I never used this site before, everything checked out, the day I showed up at the hotel, I was told that my reservation had been canceled, I reached to traveluno and they said they would contact the hotel to get it straighten out, which they never did. The hotel then changed me for the room again. I am working with my bank trying to get a refund.
Arrived at front office of hotel with reservation already booked through traveluro. Person at the front desk didn't receive a reservation for my stay. I called customer service for traveluro and proceeded to wait an hour - two hours for a response on the issue of why my reservation wasn't showing up. The agent for traveluro and front desk for the hotel discussed over the phone and was finally able to get my confirmation number and reservation. By the time I was in my room it was 3:30 am. They wouldn't offer me a refund either. I 100% don't recommend booking through this site, especially a few hours before arriving.
Although my experience with Traveluro was not a pleasant one, given that the initial 'Booking Confirmation' email, wasn't followed-up by a proper one, notifying me that there had been changes in availability causing a booking cancellation, I wouldn't go as far as to call the company a, scam. So, I show up to the Hotel, only to find out there was no reservation for me in the system. Naturally, I was confused since my credit card had in fact been charged, and I hadn't received a notification from Traveluro alerting me of any subsequent changes. I then had to scramble to make other arrangements on the spot, which as anyone might imagine, made for a very stressful & unpleasant situation. However, their customer service was very helpful & professional, and they did in fact process a full refund within days of my dispute.
Was double charged for my hotel room and they are trying to say that one of the charges for $263 is for taxes and fees. Scam Artists!
I booked a hotel10 months before the trip via Traveluro on Kayak. The hotel never received my reservation. Traveluro told me that it was cancelled after I called them while the reservation still showed valid on Kayak.
I would never advise anyone using this site. Customer service is non-existent. Not much cheaper than working directly with hotels. Definitely not worth the very little savings they offer.
I was looking to book a hotel for a November 18th 2023. I pressed a wrong button on my phone a I booked it for a December 18th by mistake. As soon as I received the Confirmation e-mail/ less than 30 minutes after booking, I called Traveluro and I explain to them that I made a mistake. Booked a wrong date and asked them either to cancel the booking or to change it for the correct date.
After multiple phone calls and lots of waiting on the phone, finally they informed me by e-mail that they are not going to cancel the reservation and they are not going to change the date.
With other words they informed me that they are going to STEAL the money from this reservation/ in business language of course/ because it is already prepaid.
So anybody who wants to use them to book reservation, BE AWARE. They don't have a reliable customer service and they can do things that are fraud and unheard of for a legitimate business!

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! I wanted to exend my stay by a day at hotel, but accidently picked the wrong week on their website. I called them immediately and they said they could not switch the day. What a joke. And they would not let me talk to a "supervisor". Terrible business.
I booked a hotel about a month ago, confirmation recieved. Saw money removed from credit card. When I got to hotel, 1 day late, hotel said they returned payment to Traveluro as I was a no show. I had called hotel to say I was going to be a day late. Apprently no one documented. Now I had to pay hotel directly. Traveluro says they are working on it. Two weeks have gone by no response from them. Paid 2 times for the same room!
