Please never ever buy your flights through these scammers. After paying they send a fake confirmation email written in broken or bad English that was my first red flag... then follow up with a call to say flight price has changed. Truly Scammers. Losers like these should be exposed! Their reference number is stupidly fake as they make it look like proper airline Reference. This is disgusting

Travelouts popped up when I was on Kyak. They advertised a really cheap fare; the only hitch was that I had to put in my credit card number and traveler information and was told I had to wait several hours to get etickets. I decided to take a chance and Alan from Travelouts called me right away to tell me that the fare had sold out, but to wait and he would see if he could get me something comparable, which he did. He was super friendly, polite, and very helpful. He explained everything to me, about the cost etc. We emailed and spoke on the phone several times, with him always calling to make sure I got the emails. I was pretty nervous after they charged my card and I had to wait to get the eticket numbers. I still wasn't sure after I got his email with the numbers, but I went to the official American Airlines website and put in my name and the trip locator number and found my tickets! So yes this site is legit! If you want to get a good deal and don't mind spending the extra time with emails and phone conversations, it's worth your patience! I would use them again!

I was definitely a little skeptical about the awesome price deals I found online with Travelouts. I hesitantly put in my card information and crossed my fingers. The deal I was supposed to purchase unfortunately sold out by the time I put my information in. I got a call within minutes from Phil who assured me that they would still work with me to get me a comparable deal with a different airline. Phil was patient, kind and informative about all the different options. I still wasn't sure I could trust them like it was too good to be true but after going through with everything, he got me an amazing deal that couldn't be found anywhere else and I got my e-ticket the next day!

After booking 3 times receiving confirmation but no confirmed ticket!
They're the top of the cheapest company that can get you the trip but they're just ruining the name of the booking site like Farecompare, CheapOair, etc.
When you didn't received confirmation then you call their toll free number, 3 booking, they said one connecting flights not available and they're going to do something but your gonna need to add $200 plus dollars. When you look at the website, same flight from them still available!
How many times did you fool guys? Have some heart to people who wants to see their family! I'll look for all things to get you zero star review so people will be aware and avoid you!

Deal was presented and never confirmed after taking my CC info. Received a call stating the flight wasn't available, however they could get me the same flight for an additional $200 more than the original deal. At the same time checking on their website I was pulling up the cheaper fare. Not impressed!

Don't believe any booking you make with them. They'll tell you they can't confirm it because the airline changed the price and then demand you pay an increased fare. If you don't pay it they'll cancel your reservation without explanation. They shouldn't be allowed to do business in the US.

The agents at travelouts say no to whatever travel related request you put across to them. Recommend to try.

This site is an absolute scam! DO NOT USE THEM THEY WILL NOT BOOK YOUR FLIGHT! For the same prices, use Google flights.

This is a very dodgy travel agency. It seems like a real bait and switch operation and I will discontinue using FareCompare while they are using this outfit to book flights. I tried booking a flight from Malaysia to the USA through FareCompare. I received what seemed to be a too good to be true fare of 865 RM.(Red Flag 1) I clicked and was taken to the booking page of TravelOuts. With the fare still showing at 845 RM and 9 seats available I booked. Told to wait up to 4 hours for Credit card validation (Red Flag 2). They sent an email that unfortunately the flight was no longer available even though I tried again through both Farecompare and TravelOuts own website and the flight was still there-same fare, same 9 seats available. I was told to call or send a message through live chat. I messaged and was told by Alejandro to call the 1800 number. I did. The rep told me to hold and he would transfer me... which I was disconnected. I wrote back to Alejandro to just forget it. He kept insisting that I call. I then received an email message showing my reservation that I had tried to make and fare said booked 865 RM, to pay 865 USD. What a scam! They quote you in one currency then try to bill you in another which using the USD is 4 times more than Ringgit Malaysia. I will never try booking through this agency again.
