Tradesy takes a very high cut of your profit first of all, and if you have a sale it takes FOREVER to get your money. Its literally 30 days or more til you get whats left of your money. By the time you sell an item you could have pawned it for the same amount and had your money the same day. Dont recommend it. If they changed their policies to be more seller freindly it would be a good company but presently what highway robbery!

Ebay is ok but using it gives me a headache, it's so ugly and full of scams and people writing IN ALL CAPS. I like how streamlined Tradesy has made uploading images and filling out a listing. I like how you don't have to "interact" to make a sale. I also don't mind the wait time to get money, which has been an issue for many; however, I'm just trying to clean my closets and make some money, not make a living from this! I suspect it is not the cheapest option out there, but in terms of ease of use -- I'm sold.

When this app was first around it was exciting! One persons outs is another persons in with the new well such a bummer when things go from great status to NO status... this appears to be the case with Tradesy. All the potential, brings nothing to the table. I use to enjoy this app. Cute, trendy, more upscale items. This quickly downhill by allowing garage sale items become their new selling trend. The dont back the buyers. I hope that people take the time to say something instead of nothing like Ive been doing because- lets be real... my time is worth more than this. I also dont like growing money away and waving goodbye at it! Ive purchased big & small items & the way my purchases have been going & the sellers on here have gone so downhill/ noway would I trust them anymore with a big purchase item. Ill leave that to The Real Real & ReBag the ones that seem to be able to know how to keep an app going & keep their sellers in check!

Sellers be aware! They close your account for no reasons! Their emails seem threatening! Poor customer service! Even worse than Ebay. Al least ppl who work for Ebay actually help you. But Tradesy does not! When you try to communicate with them, they just argue with you without providing any actual help! Also they dont have a organized system that handle arguments. They email that they provide is useless and non-responsive. There is no useful information provided through the email.

I started selling on tradesy 2 years ago, I sold over 50 items on this site and used to love it till about 8 months ago when they changed their entire policy on paying their sellers as well as their commission increase to DOUBLE the amount!?!. When I started the commission was only approx 9%, then in a less than a year it increases to 14.9% then 6 mos later increased AGAIN to 19.8%! Plus to transfer funds to bank account a seller pays another 2.9%! RIDICULOUS! They clam all the changes are to better safeguard your funds and better customer service, meanwhile your funds are pending for over a month before you see any money! I sold an item on 4/30 today is 6/8 and Ive emailed them asking for my money and received a generic response with no results. They claim they deposit d my funds on 6/6 but theyre still NOT in my bank account! Wheres my money?! Theyre thieves and liars! Something shady is going on! What are they doing with this money? They take high commission and offer no thing in return to sellers not even good service! SELLERS BEWARE!

I purchased a Gucci handbag for $550. Immediately after if arrived my father passed away and I didn't open the box for a week. When I did open it I realized the bag was a fake. It did not include the proper identification card, the number on the bag was the number of a different Gucci item. The storage bag had a flawed logo and there were no Gucci markings on the hardware.

I contacted them, explained my situation and they stated that it was past 4 days to return. They asked me photos of the bag which I supplied. They again asked me for the exact same photos of the bag.

I believe the website states all of the items are inspected for authenticity. How, when the item arrived wrapped in plastic with tape over the hardware - which Gucci would never do. It was also shipped to me straight from the vendor, not from Tradsey. I never got my refund.

A child would have noticed this was a fake bag, actually I gave it to my 14 year old niece. I could have gotten a better fake for less on Canal street if that is what I was looking for.

They make it so complicated, time consuming, repetitive and frustrating that it raised my blood pressure. I will never ever recommend them. They are fraud, sell fakes and they lie.

I made the mistake of trusting the Tradesy promise of only selling authentic bags or the buyer gets a full refund. No Go! I bought a Celine Medium Frame Bag from Tradesy a few days ago. It is definitely a fake. I sent it back to Tradesy for an inspection and I was sure I'd receive the refund. Nope! They claim it's authentic! I'm 100% certain it is not because I compared it to my authentic Celine Medium Frame Bag that I have at home that was purchased from the Celine store and the Tradesy bag is not the same. I am now pursuing getting my refund through other means. I strongly advice only buying cheap inconsequential things on Tradesy. Don't waste your money and risk getting stuck with something counterfeit and/or a store credit.
