Tradestation is a platform that I have used before and it's pretty good. However, I had a really bad experience with their account reps. I have a joint account with my 97-year-old aunt and I have a power of attorney that is properly executed. But Tradestation accused me of forging my aunt's signature and terminated the account without even telling me. When I talked to the account rep, he was no help at all. He just said that they made a decision to terminate the account and that was it. This was my second account rep and the first one was just as bad. I would advise anyone to stay away from Tradestation because they are very unprofessional and have very poor business ethics.
Stay far away from this scam company. This is a dubious company. Their activities are just so shady and all they do is to steal from you. My emails haven't been replied too and I have been left hanging by this company. My money is stuck on here for weeks and they denied it. My loss and withdrawal issues has been resolved and my money returned, my email is on my profile write me i am willing to share helpful tips about my procedures.
Years ago TradeStation did everything to help you. The support now is worthless. They tell you too much for us to handle go on formun and post your issue. I am so friggin done with this 32-bit software! The execution of strategies has now failed to up with the times. I can't believe an institution are actually using automated trading when I can`t get 16 contracts to execute at once. Sad!
I recently closed my father's account after he passed away. After providing all the necessary documents I waited for a response. I had to call and was told I was required to send an email directing them to send a check. Also, that the check had to made out to his estate. (Of course) After doing so, I waited another few weeks without receiving the check and had to call again. They claimed I had to send another email directing that.
This has taken months in a process that could have been expedited if their agent had responded to me timely instead of me having to contact them. Obviously, they want to hold on to your money as long as possible. They have apologized and recognized the errors on their part but with the circumstances it should have been handled better. I will never invest with TradeStation because of this experience.
Once I realized TradeStation was a scam online Trade Broker. I wanted to transfer my funds out. After two weeks of depositing funds into TradeStation, I still cannot access funds. Hidden policy, they can hold on to funds for 6 days after confirmed deposit. Not normal 6 days but bussiness days. Today is Oct 17th. Confirmed deposit into their bank account Oct 6th, and yet still I cannot access my funds for withdrawal. Stay clear of this company.
So i have only tried esignal (thought it was similiar just not as user friendly, but def good for trading), i used schwab for a long time (fees to high, platform sucks, not for traders). Thinkorswim is similar, i liked them as well for my active trading. But tradestation has good fees when you trade higher volume and their mobile app is what makes them the best to me along with being real user friendly overall.
I had an issue with their platform where my stop loss was triggered, although the market price never reached my stop loss. I called TradeStation to inform them of the bug and have them address the trade which was triggered erroneously. They told me that the trade was "non disputable" and that "there was no issue" although they couldn't answer why the trade was triggered at a price above the stop...
1. Don't own up to their mistakes
2. Don't fix their mistakes once called out by customers

Tradestation has a great platform, does not matter though when you have poor, under trained account reps. I have a Joint account with my 97yo Aunt, I have a properly executed POA. Tried to withdraw 40k GBP into my account but failed. Contacted their team and they tell me my withdrawal triggered anti money laundering. To stop that i have to send 2K GBP to my account for capital verification. That doesn't make sense because i have deposited money from the same binance account i tried to withdraw to. I think its a scam. I reported them at com and i was able to withdraw.
Not overwhelming and surely not surprising. Deposited some cash and wanted a withdrawal, but staff keeps being slow and makes you wait. Apparently, that is what they want.
I'd advice anyone looking to trade to keep their money away from here hence risk looking them all and this is not a bluff, I started trading with trade station few months back and it was looking good till I decided to withdraw my money, then they withheld my money and pushed multiple violations on me, this cun* of a company held over 60k GBP I was left hopeless till I was recommended JURIS RESOLVE.com who I explained my situation too and followed the due process required in getting back my money and in less than a week I was refunded, I just feel a lot of you should know this and know that this company are not to be trusted. And if you are also a victim I'd advice you get help now before it gets a lil to late for you.
I opened an account with Tradestation which was approved. I contacted customer service because I had an issue depositing initial funds. I called their customer service number but I could not talk to a live person because they said they are busy because of Covid-19 and their live customer service is only available for people who are currently trading so send them an email. I then follow up with an email and was told that they can not answer my questions via email because it is against their policy to do via email to avoid potential fraud. Few days later, I went to sign into my account but I could not log in and I know it was the correct passwords so I sent I sent another email to their client services and one of their direct personnel expressing my concerns and finding out why I could not log into my account on Thursday. The next day Friday, I received an email from the Trade Station personnel saying, "Unfortunately TradeStation "The Firm" has made a business decision to not establish a business relationship with you. The Firm does not divulge the reasons why and the decision can't be reversed on appeal." This is so crazy how Trade station treat their customers. This is the worst customer service that I ever received from a Brokerage company ever. I understand they can choose who to do business with but at least give me reason why my account was abruptly closed.
They will interrupt your trading so much this place is a $#*!ing joke. Literally the worst place to try and trade just put your money else where
My equity of DD was sold by Tradestation without my consent. I did no visit sell tab of Tradestation for DD but still it got sold by Tradestation.
I want my DD equity to be back in my account, I am not going to rest unless and untill Tradestation return my DD equity back in my account.
In the next Audit of FINRA, I request regulatory authority to visit all account holders ID and audit all equity that Tradestation have siphoned robbed by keeping investers in darkness.
Tradestation I want my DD equity back in my account, what you have done is modern robbery, computer age robbery.
I left prior to the no commission started I am satisfied with my new situation. I did like some of their tools.
The customer service guy was rude as hell. Trying to use them for option's trading has been a horrible experience.
Answer: Thaught earlier to be transparent and ethical, but Tradestation is just a modern day robber
