I have ordered from them online several times and in most cases the service was as advertised. On at least 3 occasions I reviewed items that were not up to standard or that i considered dangerous, in an effort to warn others. When I submitted the reviews that were 1 or 2 star Tractor Supply rejected them and refused to post them, indicating they did not meet their standards. Consequently the items retain their 5 star reviews on line, when in fact if they were honest would have lower ratings. It makes me wonder how may other reviews are edited or refused because they rate the products lower than the company wants.
We were told by the manager at this location that there was no need to reserve 3 tons of wood pellets last week because they had plenty. Today after borrowing a trailer & making sure we had help to unload my husband went to pick up the pellets. Arrived at the store around 9:30am & was told they didn't have any all of the ones they had were reserved. The manager was a jerk when asked why didn't he tell us to reserve last week. So now we are headed to the Butler PA store 45 minutes away (Grove City is 15 minutes) to pick up our pellets.I would have gave a one star but Adam at Butler was very helpful.
Today I went to the DeLand, Fl store to buy a pressure washer, but the model I wanted was out of stock. Connie checked other stores, (out too), and then gave me the phone number for corporate offices and stayed with me while I was talking to them. She got them to order one for me with the veterans' discount to be delivered to the store. She went way beyond what typical employees do, and I appreciate that. Connie is a strong asset for Tractor Supply in DeLand, Fl.
The employees are always friendly and helpful at my store in Smyrna Delaware. The products that I buy are always a good quality. I have seen the negative reviews of the baby chic's. Raising them for back yard flock's most of my life. They always are well cared for in my store people complain about the amount of roosters. The labeling doesn't say anything about straight run or sex I don't understand why you would complain about something that is not promised.
We purchased 21 baby chicks the middle of March. 5 out of the 7 Speckled Sussex chicks have turned out to be roosters. The sign did not say straight run or unsexed. So having to drive an hour from our house to give these roosters away on top of everything else. We paid over $100 for our baby chicks & now have just donated over $25 is not acceptable. And the money we spend on chicken food, snacks & supplies. We will not be getting our chicks at TS I the future. And no, I do not have a receipt for these chicks, it's been to long.
My dog and I visited the TSC in Middletown, NJ today after a romp at the beach. I have to say we were very happy with their customer service. At the cash register, LISA asked if she could give my dog a healthy treat. I agreed and my dog was extremely thankful! On our way to the van, I saw a TSC employee assisting the customer next to me. I kindly asked if PHIL could also help me when he was finished. He walked over to my van and lifted the heavy 45 pound bag of dog food into the trunk. I thanked him and told him he saved my back by lifting the bag for me!
They have an amazing sales lady there shot out to Tracey She found me great deals and I left happy with what I got. Thank Tracy.
The new employees are on top of it with great customer service. Knowledge, and a great sales team. A MUST GO! IF YOU HAVE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE TRUST ME GO BACK AND HAVE A GREAT ONE...

I wish I could give negative stars
I've been a loyal customer every since they came to the Georgia,( metro Atl.) market. Today is the last time I will ever darken the door. I routinely spend $350-$400.00 for personal supplies monthly, not to mention all the money the supers spend in the store. I have about 10-12 pairs of their jeans, and three pairs have ripped first day at the belt loop; right side next to pocket. Today I went in to get 4 tanks refilled and 140 pounds of dog food and other animal supplies. They told I was past return date; really a week ten days maybe. The purchase date was 2-8 for the jeans, and this is the first time I had a chance to go by. Also I'm was wearing another pair for the first time, bought the same day I bought the defective pair. Joey; MOD, knows I'm in East Cherokee store, at least a couple times a month. I would never let, one my retail stores or the contracting companies treat a customers this way, especially over less than $ 5.00 corporate investment.
Unfortunatly like everything else we are reaching our budget limit when shopping at TSC. We are now considering other outlets that we can get dog food and bird feed from.
Tractor supply is the nearest place for me to get propane and they close at 9 pm. I needed two 20 lb bottles filled. Get off work at 5:30 pm, drive to Tractor Supply and employee says they'll be right out. Then they tell me oh wait it's after 6, we can't sell propane after 6. There is nothing at the store or online stating this policy. You sell propane and you're open until 9 pm but you can't help me after 6 pm? Or maybe I should just take a day off from work to get my bottles filled? Better yet, if you can't sell me propane when it's 74 degrees and the sun is still shining because it's after 6 pm, you most certainly won't be selling me anything the rest of the day either. I won't shop there again.
We go out of our way to shop the Hanover tractor supply due to the fact it's cheaper but lately the service sucks. Besides on a Saturday there stock was not out from Thursday delivery the cashier argued about the product being there. I used to work in tractor supply I know all the fibs. I told her to check after rolling her eyes she did 15 in stock. She sent the other lady who wasn't busy to retrieve. The lady called on the radio to say the items were on the bottom of a skid n it b a bit. Ok after we waited about 15 minutes the other lady came up without our merchandise n was telling her life story to another customer as she was walking up with. Nothing store related our cashier apologized n went back to get our product. Place is a joke..
Love the product, but go to the store DO NOT USE THEIR MOBILE APP. Ordered dog food home delivery, decided to do PayPal (Pay in Four)... Order processed... HOWEVER, email for order was just as I had ordered... My bank account was for both the 1 in 4 payment and the whole amount payment... TSC TOOK BOTH PAYMENTS OUT OF MY ACCOUNT.
And don't bother sending them an email. I think they have 1 person responding and they either respond or not and don't bother to answer the phone either... This is not store experience, it's CORPORATE
There prices are ridiculously high. Profiteering is a consern from this store chain. Why would anyone spend there money here when you can get the exact same product for half price or cheaper anywhere else
They wanted almost 10 bucks for a can of Rustoleum spray paint. Not from me they wont. Use to shop here regular.Not any more! Im going to Lowes or Home Depot. I have no tolerance for corporate GREED!.

I was purchasing ripped bags of dog food what were damaged at the store at a discount price no management is completely stopped my discount are the tractor supplies still give it to me just an hour and a half out of my way extremely unprofessional trust me stay away better off paying a little more for your product
I have been waiting for two months for TSC to get a certain item in stock. I've spoken to four employees and received a different story from each one. The biggest surprise was when one told me that they "don't know what they'll be getting in until the truck gets there". What kind of company operates that way? I worked in various retail positions for 20 years and that is not the way to satisfy your customers. I'll adjust my needs, work around TSC'S unprofessionalism, and get what I need elsewhere.
Went with my 10 year granddaughter to the pet wash with a Dog who had never had a bath. Was told only one person in the station at a time.
Lost my business forever!

Was trying to purchase 1200.00 worth of fence posts. I asked for a specific bundle and manager said could not have it because it would require moving 2 other bundles. They could all be moved and loaded with a fork truck which is what they had to load with but said it would take away from other customers in store? This is the store in Deland Fl will never shop there again
I have been buying pet food and Bird seed at Tractor Supply the past few years. Now prices have doubled in some items and some nearly impossible to get. Some store managers are friendly others aren't. I'm finding other sources for the products I need. Shopping there has become a hassle and a disappointment.
