Touch-up Direct provides a factory match paint. My order was a tri color Ivory Pearl that was dead on. What I never expected was the amazing ongoing customer service and satisfaction I received. This company went way beyond what I ever dreamed to make doing business with them amazing. I'm a real fussy guy about my vehicles and this company will always have my business.
Paint match was about 4 shades too dark (My veh. 10 years old.) Plenty of primer and color in the pen kit; however, the Clear coat was almost empty when received. All that work to result in an inability to apply clear coat. Really piss-poor product. No point in trying to contact Cust. Support so Im just going to order a kit from someone else and start again. My mistake for not researching reviews prior to purchase. I fell like I spent $70 at WISH! What was waste of time and money.

Save your money and time. The felt tip pen clogs and paint doesn't flow properly. Contacted customer service and was sent a number of steps to remedy the issue. Nothing worked. Was asked to send numerous documents, including pictures, which I did. Finally, was told 45 days had passed and nothing could be done. I'm stuck with paint in a pen with a defective tip that can't be used. Customer Service needs a refresher course on how to treat customers. I should have read the reviews before wasting my money.
I'll be short here. For $65 you get 3 sharpies, 3 pcs of 2"X2" sand paper, a alcohol wipe in a letter envelope. Went through every step of instructions twice and still same results. Paint (Porsche Black) would not adhere to the primary 3 base coats of primer. Clear coat pen would just dissolve the primary paint off the primer. Waste of time and money on very cheap, poor quality paint and supplies.
My first order was very good, but I ran out of paint so I ordered just the paint. The single paint order was very poor. There wasn't even enough paint in the pen to wet the tip properly. I ordered again from another supplier. I can't believe that in the span of several weeks this company went from high on my preferred seller list to the bottom of the pile. They need better quality control!

The paint I bought sucks! Doesn't work like instructions from your site or read in the pens themselves! You need to extend the drying time! I followed each step and it was all goey! The clear coat was sticking to the new paint. HORRIBLE RESULTS. After spending 40 bucks and you company didn't put the towel in my kit I ordered. BIG FAIL!
I can understand a bad variant of paint. Not two. The paint doesn't even come close to matching, or blending. The 2nd can was watered down. Even after shaking it. I reached out their customer service and received no response. I had to order from another source. They lost out on a major opportunity.
The good news is that the color appears to match. It will take another 6-8 coats to cover before I can be sure of the match. Before anyone asks "did you shake it well", yes I shock the heck out of it. I owned a body shop for 23 years so I know how to do a touch up. This is the most watered down touch up paint I've ever used.

They are impossible to contact! They have a capital F with the Better Business Bureau rating! The photo shows the color match is not even close after crimping and Mig welding Fender skins adding fiberglass Bondo on the seams, adding regular Bondo and glaze and primering and sanding and sanding and sanding for this s*** product! Read the reviews! I cannot believe this company is sponsored by Google! Sad
Tip for consumers:
All of these reviews warned you! Sadly, I should have read the reviews. My bad!

The hard fiber pen tips do not permit smooth application, and ruin prior coats (a soft nail polish brush would be better). The paint takes a lot longer to dry than instructions indicate. No very fine sanding material is provided, but this is essential for a good result. The varnish seems to dissolve the paint, even after a day of drying. Hopeless!
I wanted to return unused product. They first ignored my request. Then they issued a return address label. After I shipped the product back they never issued a refund. Not sure if they're dishonest or incompetent, likely both. I regret ordering anything from them and wasting my money. Do NOT give them your business! The five star reviews on their site are likely fake.

Stay away

I sprayed a light coat and it looked fine. I sprayed a second coat about an hour later and it looks like textured paint! I am very dissatisfied after spending 3 times the money for what I believe was a superior product.
Tip for consumers:
It is not worth the extra cost. You are better off buying spray paint from a big box or popular online store.

This company went way beyond what I ever dreamed to make doing business with them amazing. I'm a real fussy guy about my vehicles and this company will always have my business.
The color didn't match at all! Not even close! Their website says thousands of people have given them 5 stars but there is no way to post a review there. So, I don't believe a single review on there. Also, I bought the most expensive version with color match guarantee and there were no instructions! Don't buy stuff from them- con artists!
Don't buy from this company, there is no warranty, you'll see after explaining to customer service that your project is totally ruined by their color match paint.
Once they received the photo's of their paint against the factory paint all communication ceased.
I've been painting for years, even Duplicolor gets closer on a match than this outfit.
Do you self a favor and your vehicle, pass on these clowns.
Tip for consumers:
Do not buy from them.

I was upset because the 1st time I ever used TouchUpDirect my oder was incorrect and I was told they would expedite the corrective order so it should arrive next week, which was longer than the original order. The item that was left out of my original order was sent and it arrived within 3 days, FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!
TouchUpPaint... BEWARE!
Their product is a gross misrepresentation, it does not match my vehicle. Here's a photo clearly showing the pearl specs in the black paint of my Jeep grand Cherokee and a photo of the bumper bar I painted with the paint that was supposed to match my vehicle. It clearly doesn't match. Yes, it's black, but it's clearly absent of the pearl specs to match my vehicle. They refused to respond and are clearly a scam company.
See for yourself!
It's a scam. Although they send you a product it is not worth a cent. Very little paint in pen and tip does not work. Clear coat is the same, plus it strips the paint applied. Read some of the other complaints. A ONE is too good but the lowest rating available.
Tip for consumers:

Not satisfied. The primer pen comes out with difficulty and starts thickening like paste when you start applying. The instructions for the color coat says 30 minutes to dry, but it takes well over an hour for each coat. Which doesn't even matter by the time you are putting on the clear coat. The top coat just dissolved the paint color and exposed the primer. Pens arent made well, its quite difficult to actually dispense any paint without constantly warming the pen after each stroke.

Never buy from these guys, go with someone more reputable.
I ordered a Sapphire Blue color code and was sent Plum Crazy Purple.
Yeah that will match up well.
These guys are crooks.
Refuse to refund or send correct color.
People are nice to answer, but the 2018 pearl Toyota color doesn't match. See picture. I used primer, color base, color mid, and clear coat. Obviously the 2 darker spots are TouchUpDirect's 089 color.
They took 4 days to ship and over a week to deliver, I paid 15$ extra for expedited shipping and after all that time I only got half the order. I emailed them since the number they have online tells you they are too busy and it's been 5 says since then and still no reply. All in all the product is overpriced, the shipping is terrible and the customer service is seemingly non-existent. Would rate 0 stars if I could.
I placed an order for a touch up kit for my truck. The shipping was free; however, I decided to do expedited shipping for $5.95. Three days after placing my order the company shipped it via USPS First Class mail which is the slowest class of mail. I asked for my expedited shipping fees back and they said no. I have decided to return the item before I have even received it. Never a good idea to support a dishonest business. When I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, I was not surprised to see that the BBB gave this company an "F" rating!
This useless company, uses the cheapest delivery systems as possible, why make a hopefully decent product and ruin it with bad service and slow delivery!
Tip for consumers:
WITHOUT PREDJUDICE. DO NOT USE THIS USELESS COMPANY RUDE PEOPLE WORK THERE AND THE SHIPPING IS USELESS COULD TAKE WEEKS TO GET YOUR PRODUCT, NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY.

Bought touch up pens for two vehicles including base coat, mid coat, and clear coat. All the pens worked ONE TIME and then seem to be plugged up.
Followed instructions 100% but putting second coats messed up or wiped out first coats... what a mess
Was a $70 Plus Lesson
Tried to dispute charges and return paint. Lost dispute. Unable to return paint and citibank did not back me up.
