I have gone to their site several times when researching for a product that I want to buy. I am glad this site is here because I thought it was only me that felt this same way about the site.
I no longer use it as I have very little faith in what is posted on it.
This is the best app i have seen now that offers full transparency and with the assured 100% returns.
I go to this site before I buy anything! Their reviews are pretty accurate when it comes to products and services.
Amazing website I rely on them to look for reviews about anything computer related from websites to software and hardware. I was looking at their reviews with top10 blogging services and that was good. The software reviews are pretty good as well, I was googling trying to find a review comparison on File Compression tools and came back here, their review was excellent!
However I don't know whether the anti-spyware softwares and the registry fix/cleaner software reviews are credible. Hope they didnt earn a good place because its a business deal.
Then finally, the mobile software reviews. I use blackberry and their review on blackberry is bad! The top recommendations are paid versions of what you could get free in other mediums. The problem is this 2010 review is not updated at all. There are tons of awesome bb apps out there and they somehow chose some useless apps putting them up as top 10.
In conclusion, for checking out the great bb apps go to crackberry and berry reviews. This website is a safe and really useful site and atm can't find a better computer products review center.
I go to this site for just about everything. I love it and wouldn't purchase anything online without checking it first.
A load of crap!
"They can cause problems such as data loss, greater degrees of fragmentation and even wreck Windows system files."
Utter bull$#*!! It is close to impossible to corrupt the file system or files as all free and commercial defrag software that I am aware of use the Windows defrag API. The Windows included defragger, freeware, commercial defraggers all do. They are all equally safe or unsafe.
Top Ten Reviews is a jack of all trades. They lack specialized knowledge to review specific software.
"Another problem with freeware defragmenter programs is their lack of support for many current technologies. Solid state drives are one example."
More BS. A SSD should never be defragged. Defragmentation software writers, specially the commercial ones just came up with 'SSD aware defrag' to prevent they became obsolete. It is just snake oil. Your SSD does not need defrag.
The site is a joke. Just looked at cable modems and the one they recommended rated 10/10 and said it was the only docsis 3.0 modem that you could buy retail and not through your ISP. That is a complete 100% untrue statement. I can't believe they would even say something so obviously fake.
Looking at toptenreview.com web hosting reviews... It's funny as a rubber crutch! I don't know how they can say they are legit when their website has different urls and when you visit the page, the top ten changes depending upon which website hosting you have visited.
They are completely fake, they get paid to uprate items, and are owned by the same guy who owns herman street.com, so he puts the items he sells on his site on the top 3 of the ratings for some of the items, then when you try to buy the product from his site, they $#*! you around and try to take your money without giving you a valid product key.
I came across toptenreviews.com when I was doing research to choose a platform for a new e-commerce site for my company. I took toptedreviews.com's advice and signed up for their #1 rated company. It was a total disaster. Then I started doing more research online about the company I was trying to use to build my site, and it had lousy reviews. Only then did I notice that toptenreviews.com doesn't let users rate the products. Their reviews seem so technical, but I believe that they're getting financial kickbacks from the companies that they rank highly. I'll never trust their reviews again.
When I read the review of Time Warner Cable I realized this site could not possibly be reliable. It would appear to me that TWC sponsored it but that is conjecture. The TWC review said PROS: Speed and infrastructure CONS: TWC may not be available in your area. So the downside to this product is that it may not be available in your area? It makes no mention of the widely-criticized customer service, the rates, or network issues. Something seems a little fishy about this review. I would not trust any review on this site.
I just got scammed! This is not a trustworthy website to buy products. I purchased a hydra facial system from Indonesia. The company name is PT INTER DENT MEDICA and their website is http://www.beautylaser.co. We have communicate via email back and forth and once I wired them the money for the products. They have stopped emailing me and replying to my emails.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM TopTenWholesaler webist.
It is very clear based on a simple google search that they are paid to make scams look legit. Steer clear at all costs. Scum of society.
This company rates other companies, yet if you notice those SAME companies that are rated high are the advertisers too! I'm not saying it's illegal, but it is immoral.
The site is an affiliate sales site posing as a review site. Their reviews are inaccurate and untrustworthy. They appear to use the documentation and website screenshots/information without even actually testing and using the products. If they do, it's no more than a run through. I know they are an affiliate site because I've had products listed on there (low cost/low commission product) and they put all kinds of incorrect and misinformation about it trying to get others to buy other products with higher price and higher commission. I confirmed by signing up for affiliate accounts and then researching what was being paid by that company to affiliates. They link directly to the affiliate site when a product has multiple sites to purchase from, from those that have a single purchase point and cookies can be used, they pointing to the companies product pages so you can't see the affiliate credit unless you know what you are doing (some affiliate programs allow cookies to be set to get credit for the sale).
I was interested in seeing what my options were for an ISP, so I thought "The Best Internet Service Providers of 2018" on TopTenReviews would be helpful. However, even tho the article claims "LATEST UPDATE JANUARY 28,2018", I discovered that several of the ISP's no longer exist and the info they provided on my current ISP (Cox) is out of date by at least 5 to 10 years. (Fastest d/l speed available is 50 MBPS at $59.95 / mo.?) I wrote to "TopTen" asking about their interpretation of "update", but of course I got no reply. Based on this experience, I could not trust ANY review on that site.
Their Facebook page allows no public posts and although they promise a quick response to messages, mine was totally ignored. They also have a Google + page, where public posts are allowed, but the site is totally unmonitored, so it's become inundated with spammers spamming spammers.
I found them when I tried finding an internet marketing company. The #1 listed name was not found in the BBB and their #2 best account had a D- Rating from the BBB. So much for trusting this site.
Rudeness, product makes me breakout and causes a rash. I ordered on 12-09-2015, on 12-15-2015 I called to cancel products and Sarah told me I couldnt cancel so soon. I told her it did nothing but cause a rash and breakout. I told her I would not continue to use either product. She said she was still going to give me an extention to 1-08-2016. When I noticed a 99.01 charge on my credit card, I called again on12-29-2015, spoke with Erik, he canceled my order but said nothing about a 99.01 fee. On 12-28 they charged my acount. On 1-2-2016 I called again and got the rudest person ever, his name was Evan. Then I spoke with Erik again. They all seem to be supervisors and tell me good luck getting a refund, I said I will ship it back and you can see very little used and they tell me they will not accept it. I will now go to the bank, then the Post master and then the attorney general and my Lawyer. I have already made an appointment with my dermotologist for verification of the condition of my face and eyes. I didnt order online but took the number from The Doctors show which I will also be informing of this telemarketing sceam! There are also terms and conditions to even make a complaint or these people!
This is a review about TopTenReviews, but I would like to make my case by first bringing up another product: Jawbone. You understand why very soon!
Consider these reviews from different sources on Jawbone accumulated from various resources:
https://www.theverge.com/2017/1/24/*******/jawbone-customer-support-problems-response-fitness-trackers
https://www.amazon.com/Jawbone-Heart-Activity-Sleep-Tracker/dp/B00N9E6DUK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=*******797&sr=8-3&keywords=jawbone
https://ca.trustpilot.com/review/www.jawbone.com
The gist of all these reviewers on Amazon and Trustpilot and independent reviews like the Verge is that Jawbone seems to have gone completely incommunicado. Their products are breaking and they've stopped responding to disappointed customers. (Go ahead and look up Jawbone on SiteJabber as well). What I just described has been exactly my experience. The band on my Jawbone snapped and repeated emails to Jawbone customer support have all gone unanswered. Other customers have been leaving angry messages on their Facebook wall. Rumors are that the company is struggling and looking to pivot completely or sell off their assets.
Meanwhile take a look at this 2017 review written by TopTenReviews (it appears first on Google search if you type in Jawbone review 2017). They say that customer service has "timely responses and helpful answers from representatives." They also give Jawbone an 8.5/10 and speak very highly of this tracker that's gotten so many customers upset. I don't know what world the staff at TopTenReview live in, but they clearly are intentionally misleading their readers or they do absolutely no research into the products they endorse. I don't know how they are able to rank number one in a Google search let alone still exist to mislead more unlucky consumers who happen to land on their website and think their reviews are honest.
Just doing affiliate business forgetting their moral.
Answer: It is a schill site. They rate some horrible products as good. I think they also hire people to review them as legit. Notice that the 3 5 stars in these reviews are a person with 1 review and 2 people who say they go to TopTenReviews for everything. Those both have rated a psychic website as 5 stars two. I bet paid fake reviewers.
The company’s reputation is significantly tarnished by widespread accusations of promoting biased reviews and prioritizing affiliate revenue over genuine product evaluation. Many customers express frustration over misleading ratings and the perceived lack of integrity in the review process, suggesting that the site serves more as a marketing platform than a trustworthy resource. While a few positive remarks highlight the efficiency of certain applications, they are overshadowed by the overwhelming sentiment of dissatisfaction regarding customer service, perceived deception, and inadequate support. Overall, the feedback reflects a deep mistrust in the company's review practices and service reliability.
