I have mixed feelings about TopCV. On one hand, I hated the idea that I don't know the qualifications of the 'expert' who is working on your CV. You just get to know his/her name, nothing more. I also was very disappointed to find that they have different prices for almost the same package based on where you live and the price difference is considerable. So I just paid much more money because I made the purchase from a certain URL. This is absurd in an online business. If I had known this before purchase, I would have had easily changed the URL. The package I bought had 3 symbols (CV, cover letter and LinkedIn profile) on the top indicating that these 3 services are included (but they were not included in the package description). I made the decision based on the visual presentation. But it turned out to be a technical glitch! My refund was denied and I was offered a complimentary LinkedIn profile makeover. On the other hand, the service was quick and the communication was efficient with the expert and the customer service. The expert contribution was good yet I expected a better input. In general, I felt that they are more concerned about the process (on-time reply, number of reviews, etc.) than the value.
