I've always preferred real phone calls over email or chat. It feels more personal that way. When I called Top Consumer Reviews, I kept on getting disconnected from the call. I tried different mobile networks but got the same result. I've had a good experience with them before, so I hope those issues were just one-off.
I didn't expect much from this business at first. As long as they could help me with my problems, I didn't mind having to take calls from random people. However, I got excellent customer service. It was a breath of fresh air for someone who was already getting used to rude agents.
Hello, Looking through your site, I was blown away at how many questions were answered, without having to call each one individually to ask questions. I'm impressed and I will contact one of them a. S.a. P. Also, I will be suggesting to everyone to try your site first, before borrowing from an unknown. Thank you so much, Donna
Conducted an online search for the best background check site and http://www.topconsumerreviews.com/background-checks/ was one of the top choices. Visited the site, looked professional, listed Everify.com as the best of a short list, 5 stars!
Visited www.everify.com, looked okay, paid $19.95 for a one-time search of someone, and got, basically, nothing. For such a highly rated background search site by Top Consumer Reviews, I got nothing more than the service I used to have which listed name, address, social media sites... all of which I already had. Worthless!
I think that these two sites are owned by the same people and that they are scammers. Don't trust either one of them.
This company got me out of a real bind. I was deeply in debt and was desperate for a solution, then stumbled upon Top Consumer Reviews' bankruptcy section. I found really useful information and was able to find someone who could get me out of my situation. I haven't looked back since.
I'm a lifelong skeptic and don't easily believe anything I see on the internet. When a friend recommended Top Consumer Reviews to me, I looked up their reviews and saw nothing but praise for them. I had nothing to lose anyway, so I gave them a call. Best decision ever.

The guy I talked to on the Top Consumer Reviews hotline, Clinton, was very reassuring. My anxiety level was going through the roof before I called them. Clinton acknowledged my issues and worked with me to find a solution that reduced my liabilities to a manageable level. Very high level of professionalism and empathy.
I bought services from Outskirts Publishing based on their review and their comparison of OP compared to other self-publishing companies. I found Outskirts misleading, promising services, and then pressuring you to upgrade to get what you want. Topconsumer must be paid to give their spurious reviews. I also found their was a book about Outskirts called "Stupid Sloppy Sleazy" which I should have read before believing topconsumer's praise
I always look at top consumers email reviews for excellent help with most info to get me thru these trying times... Thank you, for helping all of us...
Top Consumer Reviews goes out of its way to be honest and reliable to their readers. Their niceness doesn't feel fake. You can see that they are really sincere about helping all of their shoppers.
They are JUST A MARKETING SITE. Nothing they post is to be trusted. They post great reviews of the companies that use them for advertising/marketing and post horrible reviews of their legitimate competitors. Case in point - look at their travel insurance reviews - then compare those to totally legitimate reviews on tripadvisor and other sites. Look at their review of "World Nomads"? One of the most well-regarded and reputable carriers - with HUNDREDS of great reviews on Tripadvisor and many other sites.
Moreover... take some of the content on that same page - like "when should you buy travel insurance" - it is clearly copied directly from another site. Take the first paragraph and plug it into a google search. Ahah... they can't even be bothered to paraphrase other people's work.
They post a RAVE review for squaremouth, who surely is paying them for it. If you do independent searches for "review squaremouth" it will be easy to find that real customers of squaremouth were usually not pleased with the "service".
Never trust ANY review site that doesn't allow direct customer commentary. More than likely, it's just one more marketing site or scam site.
This site is not worth much of my time. Glad I checked these reviews before time on their sites. Although, i will check out the sites they did not recommend.
Useful platform for clients, for example, 2 weeks ago I was looking for a car service and thanks to reviews on TopConsumerReviews I found a good company.
