They are still emailing me, trying to get me to remove to modify my review. Too bad - this is what happens when you treat customers badly.

And now, they just keep lying and keep getting caught.

During the purchase, they lied that "they are pushing the factory to hurry on production". Total BS. Now, they are lying that the item is no longer available.

LOL - I have personally spoken with Mastech - a very large company with 30 offices worldwide. The MS6514 is NOT DISCONTINUED in any way.

Now they are also trying to BRIBE ME WITH POINTS. First 200 points, and now 300 points. Basically 100 points = $1 - but only applied up to 30% discount against a purchase.

Fortunately, I used Paypal. I ordered a digital thermometer. After a week, the status was still "in processing" (should have been shipped within 72 hours).

I finally got them to respond and it was total BS - "we are urging the factory to push them out" and asked for 5 more days.

I immediately opened a ticket w/ Paypal and emailed all the Tomtop contacts for a cancellation. Their first response was "hey give us more time why don't you"? Totally unprofessional.

Apparently, the high standards are entirely a thing of the past.

Don't bother asking me to "reach out to customer service". I already did that. If you want to get me back, it is your turn to bend over backwards.

You have everything that you need. The order #, associated notes, and online chat. Do your job, and review it with your manager.

At a MINIMUM, the ONLY way I am coming back to Newegg is for you to cancel the seller's account or make them fulfill the order.

I don't expect that you actually care, and all you guys do is paste that script over and over to every bad review.

Hey - don't worry - eBay and Amazon have got us covered!

I received a spam message through my Site's Contact Us form. My original site design was worked on by someone at Fiverr, so that's the connection.

Please note - the guy named in the threat below has no connection to me and would have no idea what my site is. Today, Fiverr deleted his profile.

So, Fiverr's database has probably been hacked, or this was done by one of their employees.

They are JUST A MARKETING SITE. Nothing they post is to be trusted. They post great reviews of the companies that use them for advertising/marketing and post horrible reviews of their legitimate competitors. Case in point - look at their travel insurance reviews - then compare those to totally legitimate reviews on tripadvisor and other sites. Look at their review of "World Nomads"? One of the most well-regarded and reputable carriers - with HUNDREDS of great reviews on Tripadvisor and many other sites.

Moreover ... take some of the content on that same page - like "when should you buy travel insurance" - it is clearly copied directly from another site. Take the first paragraph and plug it into a google search. Ahah ... they can't even be bothered to paraphrase other people's work.

They post a RAVE review for squaremouth, who surely is paying them for it. If you do independent searches for "review squaremouth" it will be easy to find that real customers of squaremouth were usually not pleased with the "service".

Never trust ANY review site that doesn't allow direct customer commentary. More than likely, it's just one more marketing site or scam site.

Tip for consumers: Stay away! Watch out for the tell-tale signs that a "review site" is no more than a marketing scheme.
