But with almost no promoting from me he's been using the Down South sprays
Faithfully. And boy do they work! I had all but given up on getting him to
Use the kind of product that prevents bathroom odors rather than just cover
Them but your sprays have convinced him. My young grandson even used them
And he loves the Insta-wipe spray! He says it makes him feel more grown up
Than using baby wipes to get fresh & clean.

I ordered their sample pack, which in turn signs you up automatically for a "subscription" of their products. That is NOT what I asked for BUT, they charged my credit card for a full order. I contacted them and explained that that's not correct. Long story short... too bad. There 100% money back guarantee is not true either. They won't take back their unopened package! Stay away from this company!

They sell you trial sizes to try then two weeks later without no notice charge you for more being unaware they then refuse you to return it and isn't even worth it cheap products at high prices, this company needs to be shut down.

I hope you're reading this before falling for their $1.99 trial pack. As all the others have said, they sign you up for an automatic subscription. My credit card got declined because I had to cancel it for fraud from another person, and I haven't received my new card yet. They then put it through my checking account in PayPal, so I don't think I even have recourse with that. I'm contacting BBB.

An absolute scam. Signed up for their trial, and it mentions NO WHERE that it signs you up for a subscription service. So they charge your card without consent, and refuse to refund you bc "it said it on the website". As you can tell from these other reviews, IT DID NOT! I will be disputing this with my bank.

So happy that I ordered the $1.99 Trial and got setup on the Subscription plan. Easy at 1, 2, 3:)

This joke of a company likes to claim you saw in multiple places on their website that you were signing up for a subscription, but this is a flat out falsehood. The landing page from their Facebook ad to buy the $1.99 sampler did not indicate anywhere that you'd be subscribing to anything. I have been back and forth with them via email and they have become downright rude. I filed a dispute with PayPal, and as someone else said here, I've marked the package they sent me as refused. Absolutely horrible, stay far far away! Not to mention their product is below average. Stick with the name brands if you want toilet spray. There is nothing good about this company or their products!

As shown in many other reviews, these folks are scammers out to obtain your credit card information.
Then they charge you for a "subscription" you never ordered.

100 percent fraud

I did NOT know when I ordered a sample pack from Down South it came with a SUBSCRIPTION! I just wanted to try another companies take on Poo Pourri (which I HIGHLY recommend [both product AND company]!). I can't afford a thirty-five dollar MONTHLY bill (I am a retiree on a skimpy annuity and not only can't I pay all of my monthly bills, I sure as hell fire can't afford another one!). I thought I could sample what this company had to offer. And if I so choose, reorder on MY terms! So buyer beware if you see this come through Facebook. It's not just a pay for shipping and handling ($1.99) ONE TIME deal; they SNEAK in a MONTHLY subscription! #deceptive.
UPDATE: I am ADDING this because I received an email from Down South thankfully CANCELLING my subscription, BUT I had to ADD about "correctly reflecting their policy". What policy? I NEVER EVER saw a policy, or that buying samples at a very reasonable price would mean I would have to ENROLL! As a customer, I should have the choice if I wish to order again, not deceptively enroll me into a monthly fee (as an unemployed retiree I can a not afford!). I wasn't trying to have review readers NOT buy from this company, but just be aware and keep your eyes WIDE open! How can I fairly write about a product that I haven't had a chance to try (though the products have a very nice scent. Waiting for that first bowel movement after delivery to see how it works)? Because I like to try Poo Pourri's competitors, how the hell did I know this company was subscription only? Flushie doesn't operate like that. Even Air Wick VIP in stores doesn't make you buy a subscription. I AM NOT RETRACTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW! This was MY experience! I was just a naive consumer. I don't like the wool pulled over my eyes! Money is very tight right now. Maybe you can state your policy when the next gullible Facebook person clicks onto your web page via link to maybe order.

They trick you into thinking you're buying trial size products and sneak in a subscription. They refused to give back the money.

I have had the same experience as the others here. Signed up for the little child bundle and got enrolled into a subscription. When I contacted them about it via email it took several days to get a response... they sent me numerous screenshots of areas on their site that said "*100% money guarantee" explaining the * was that the guarantee was only for the trial (the FREE trial). I was also told that many other third-party websites and ads have incorrect information on them which they wont honor. I was also told I could exchange scents if unhappy but I could not return the package or get a refund. All of this correspondence was finally done in back and forth 2 sentence emails for about 20 min at 1am PT. The person I was emailing with was rude and just kept pushing the issue off, sending screenshots over and over of a site I dont even recall seeing. I wish I wouldn't have opened it and did return to sender as someone mentioned above but I had no clue what was in there as I wasnt aware of a subscription. I am no longer getting any response (even if I wanted to take them up on their offer of exchanging scents) so I will be disputing the charge and contacting the BBB. There are many other businesses out there who deserve our money and care about their customer experience.

***As I wrote this review, moments after emailing them to explain my next steps of bank/BBB, I got a response from them - an offer to return package and spend more of my own money to get a little ledge and other product that I didnt want to begin with. I have attached screenshot below

I requested free samples from a facebook ad. Paid the shipping. They came and was not as good as the name brand ones. So I decided not to order full pack. I get a charge on my credit card and I contacted them to cancel and no one got back to me till it shipped and they said no late. I ended up contacting my credit card and got my refund. Worst customer service and not great product. STAY AWAY.

You order your cheap samples and automatically get signed up for a subscription, beware! While the product is decent, the company is not. I strongly advice against buying from them. So shady

Was unaware of a subscription starting from getting the samples. They also dont make it easy to cancel as I never even set up an account!

I hate the product and the company. The product and company are both trash. Myself and MANY other people have been harassed by the company. Why you ask? We were fraudulently charged for a "subscription" that we never signed up for. When we contacted the company to get our money back they harassed us. We have received our money back from PayPal, but beware!

This review is strictly about the deceptive business practice and not the product. They promote a $1.99 trial (via facebook ad) with a subscription beginning 15 days after you order your sample. I cancelled future shipments at the same time I ordered the trial. Regardless, the full subscription shipped out 15 days later. They claim to have never received the cancellation and were completely unwilling to correct the situation. They do not give cancellation numbers so there is no way to prove that you cancelled the first shipment. They offer "100% money back guarantee" however claim that that guarantee "doesn't apply to subscriptions." I would recommend not trying the trial but if you do, be extremely cautious when ordering from this company. I think you are getting at least one, full priced shipment no matter what you do. Take screenshots when you cancel as proof because you will have a battle on your hands. I ended up disputing it with my credit card company and Paypal and received my money back through them. If you research the company they also go by the name Down South Toilet Spray. Many similar reviews from others.

I was charged for a subscription even before I could get my trial pack. And obviously they wouldn't refund me although I informed them as soon as my subscription was processed. They just want to prey you with their first subscription and run away. Highly unethical selling practices!

I signed up for the $1.99 samples but I am now being charged for a subscription. They're prayed on venerable people and only deducted the fund AFTER check deposits were made! This company is nothing but con-artist! Do not order from this company not even the samples you will regret it because they'll steal more from you later.

I've had an amazing experience with the Customer Service team. I had accidentally ordered the wrong item on the Subscription plan and it was my fault for sure. They sent me the correct item at no charge and updated the subscription to the correct item. Top notch service! Glad I ordered the $1.99 Trial product :)

I did not agree to have a subscription to this company! They are refusing my refund and telling me to resend it on my dime! This was supposed to be a sample! That's it. I paid the 1.99 for crappy products that don't work anyways! Why would I pay 25.00 for something I don't want?!

Don't sign up for the trial! I honestly might have used this product if they had been clear and didn't try to process orders faster than you can make a decision. Ended up paying 25 bucks for products I didn't need and they went silent when I asked for a refund

Been fighting with them for a couple of months regarding a refund and cancellation of the account but they keep charging for the subscription and on top of it I never received the product on the last one they charged for. All they keep telling you is to go to the website and change it in your account. Go to account and it says account does not exist... try to create an account and it says account already exists. VERY shady people I have also contacted the BBB and filed a complaint as well

Wasn't going to write bad review when I tried sample and didn't like product. They charged $25 autoship. I asked to cancel they refused as my free sample. Came. With subscription. I then asked to return product when it arrived as I would not use. Was told they will not accept a return because I had subscription. My mistake not. Reading that I'd be billed for products I didn't choose and expected them to hold up.to their 100% guarantee.
Cheap knock off of other brand and the worst customer service I've ever seen! Stay clear unless you like getting ripped off and told they're sorry you hate it but enjoy product.
