Messaged team about dead paw paw tree sent photos, was asked to wait until later in the year. Was approved for replacement. When asked for replacement was sked to wait until the end of June because of probably late dormancy even though it was already approved. Sent new photos showing the plant was clearly dead and brown after scratch test. They keep telling me it is alive and almost 9 months since we have had it. How can you say approved, wait, and then go back on a previous approval. This is such bad customer service. All we want is our tree, we are not asking for a refund we are asking for a replacement for a dead tree that never grew since we had it.
Ordered Elderberries and black raspberres. Received dead sticks. They offered to refund my money if I waited a year, and pulled the dead sticks are returned them, but it was pretty obvious that they were dried up when I received them. Planted them as instructed (they may look dead, but plant them anyway). They were dead. Not a single one even budded.
It's been a while, but I was just cleaning out my mailbox when I came across the receipt, and got ticked off again. They wasted my time and labor just for a dollar, and I think they knew it. This was in April 2019 and they stayed dead in 2020. Orders 5998 and 5988. This lesson cost me $45.72 and $50.72 or $96.44..
I am starting a woodland garden in our trees that surrounding d our property. I found a plan that called for plants I had never heard of before. In my online search I found TN Wholesale Nursery and found all the plants I required! Great user friendly website. Plants were delivered as specified at check out. YAY! Preparing a other order!
Purchased a truckload of their end of season deals. They was wonderfully priced and every tree lived. Couldn't be happier and my bank account smiled when i re-sold. For the first time in years...

Hi Syd, Your kind words about our company are really appreciated. We love making our customer’s days and we cannot wait to have the opportunity to make you smile again! Thank you for choosing us!
This company is a fraud. I purchased 3 pine trees from them, and all arrived sick and were dead within one month. They do not offer refunds, but said they would give me $3 off and free shipping on my next order. Gee, a whole $3 off after wasting more than $100 on their garbage?
And they don't even package bare root plants with wet newspaper, soil, or hydrogel. So the roots were all bone dry after being sent across the country. No wonder they all died. Total rip-off. And they refuse to answer their phone. Go ahead, just try to talk to someone before you order.
Bottom line: Avoid Tennessee Wholesale Nursey unless you want to be treated like garbage and prefer dead plants and trees to healthy ones. Absolute garbage.

I ordered 2 maple shrubs and 20 Bluetts in February, 2023, total cost $76. I received 2 2' "twigs" and 2 2" square plastics bags of dirt & seeds (supposed to be bluetts). They never germinated and the planted twigs never sprouted anything green. Now (May 5) this fine company wants me to leave the twigs in the ground for another 4 mos as they insist thry are alive, despite a scratch test showing no green. They refuse to refund even though there is a 1 yr guarantee. Do not order from them! They do not stand behind their products! Working with my credit card company now for a charge back. Don't get cheated like I did!

I would not call this business a nursery. Finallllly received what should have been a small flowering tree. The box contained a group of sticks with so called roots attached. Never again. Don"t make the same mistake. Select reputable online nurseries. There are sources that rate nurseries. I now use one that is very good.

I purchased a river birch tree from TN Nursery. It arrived dormant and I really didn't know what to expect. However, come spring, leaves started to appear and it started to grow and since then, there's been no stopping it! I'm very pleased with my tree and will definitely use them again for future tree purchases.
Taking the time to leave such a great review about our river birch tree, has really made our day, Sandra! We always aim to delight our customers with our customer service and our attention to detail. We are looking forward to making your day once more when you shop with us again.
So easy to order from! Plants are reasonable, healthy and beautiful!
Thank you for the positive review.
We hope you are enjoy your products.
I have ordered serveral items and never had a bad experience. Communication is great and I am aware of every step my plant takes in getting to me.
Plants come healthy. A word to the wise: if the plant ships dormant, don't worry! Follow instructions and you will have success!
I'm planning to place an order very soon for some fall planting.
We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review, Sherri. These are the stories that keep us so motivated to continue doing what we are doing, and we are so happy to hear that you had a great experience. Let us know if we can do anything else for you.
I ordered 200 ferns for a spring planting. Half of these were the Bracken Fern variety which ships as a bare root. In my case it looked like a small 2-3 inch brown stick. Planting these was my first experience and I wasn't sure what they should/shouldn't look like. However many of them were crumbling and seemed like they were rotted. Since the bulk of them appeared that way I supposed that was normal.
I planted all in a well drained, moist, shaded area along with the 100 other ferns I ordered. The planting area has many varieties of moss and native ferns growing.
I gave all the ferns a couple of months to show. Not one Bracken ferns sprouted. About 85 of the other ferns sprouted at various intervals.
When I contacted Tennessee Wholesale Nursery they basically replied tough luck. Your claim is beyond 30 days.
So beware. Especially if you're spending a few hundred dollars on ferns.

Total ripoff do not purchase from this business, product received was trash (awful) and of course no refund, cancelled an additional order weeks before shipping and was charged 20%.Never again, buyer beware.
It was first and my last time when i buy from this site. The did send me a dry grass instead of wild strawberry and then after I send all pics the made me send this dry grass back for what I had to pay $ 20 shipping. Customer service does not care about clients.
Finally, they reship my order and i receive a plants just in Walmart plastic bag without any moist or terrasorb gel. Please do not buy from them don't waist your time and money.

Do not trust this company! Ordered live ready to bloom plants. They never came. Asked about my order and was assured several times over a few weeks it was to be shipped in 24hrs. No help. Disputed the charge. Magically a week later something shows up. Not what I ordered but something. Some sticks in a bag. Now my card is recharging me. Never trust these people!
I have used TN Nursery on a number of occasions over the last several years to purchase a variety of plants and trees for my small patio garden. They have an excellent assortment and very competitive prices. Shipping is fast and items arrive in great condition. TN Nursery has enabled me to transform my patio garden into a very pleasant and enjoyable suburban oasis that attracts a wide variety of birds and other wildlife and I will be looking to them over the coming years for any plants or trees I will need. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great selection of plants, trees, or shrubs for their homes.
I've ordered a couple of times from this place that goes under several names. I will never order from them again. While everything is not wrong, their list of native plants included several present but non-native plants and some plants are mislabeled. I ordered native black raspberry (rubus) and got Japanese wineberry, a horrible invasive instead. A plant nursery should know this but native plants evolved in the same area as the pollinators, birds and insects that all complement each other. Plants that were introduced from other countries, but have naturalized here (escaped into the wild) are not native. Do your research folks and don't skimp.

I purchased blueberry plants that I received in a dormant state as was to be expected, after planting not a single plant showed any sign of life ( the blueberry plants that I planted at the same time in the same way from another company where growing and coming out of dormancy successfully) I contacted
Tennessee Wholesale Nursery and was told I had to let them know within 24 hours of receiving the plants for the warranty to be any good. I explained that I did and was told the plants where fine and to keep an eye on them. Bottom line they do not stand behind their product and they are running a scam operation. One star because I had to choose something, it should be a 0

Absolutely the worst company to work with. I can not express enough how much you need to AVOID doing business with this company at all cost. Poor customer service, poor product and poor resolution. If I could give them a negative score I would a one star is to generous
Hi Patty. I would like to apologize for the service you received when purchasing our products. After talking to our team it seems that things should have been explained to you in more detail. It's hard to find a place that will ship live plants from online. Tennessee nursery was awesome! Plants arrived big and healthy and are still beautiful! Great prices too! Definitely recommend Tennessee nursery!
Hi Rio - Thanks for the five stars. Your review is a great way to let us know we’re on track for making our customers smile! We appreciate you taking the time to give your feedback and look forward to serving you again in the future.
Our items came weeks after I expected them and according to the website guarantees. I tried to cancel the order when it didn't arrive timely but wasn't allowed to. When the items did arrive they were of bad quality anyway. I will never order from them again. They also won't unsubscribe me from their promotional emails although I have requested that several times. That triggered this review even though my purchase was a couple of years ago.
