I flew from Japan to Taiwan in September 2024, and let me tell you—it was a *disaster*. Easily one of the worst experiences I've ever had flying. First, I had an issue with my carry-on luggage. I've traveled to Japan with EVA Air and across Europe with various airlines without any problems, but Tiger Airways? They *insisted* my carry-on was too big, which was complete nonsense. Then, they had the nerve to charge me a ridiculous fee of $47.50 for it!

To top it off, I just wanted to say a simple goodbye to my friend at the gate, but instead, I had to deal with this unnecessary nonsense. Their lack of customer service and absurd policies ruined what should have been a smooth trip. Trust me—avoid Tiger Airways at all costs. Do not travel with them if you value your sanity!

I've been budget traveling for the past year and recently just found out about Tiger Air (a budget friendly airline that flys around Asia) "We fly from Taiwan to all around Japan, Korea, Philipines and Thailand 30 routes with 23 different destinations, let's travel all around Asia with Tigerair."

Not sure if it was just the plane I was on (or all of them) but it's quite big? (than I expected) 3 rows on both sides. Mainly because this isn't an airplane on the main terminals (I had to take a shuttle at both airports). The service was really nice for the budget price and the plane was packed! Oh and also, these plane aren't flying all the time so they do have limited dates and times.

We are traveling from one end of Australia to the other. Booked a flight months ago through tiger air. Checked in online, but then went shopping for an extra bag for all our purchases. When we got to tiger air at 8 am they wanted to charge us $580.00 for 3 checked suitcases plus our small carry ons. The they refused to refund our money for the flight & we were told that we could take the 8 pm flight for an extra $85.00 each, but he would only charge us $150.00 person for luggage. MANY others had the same problem.
STAY AWAY FROM TIGER AIR unless all you have is a backpack that weighs less than 7kg. No tv's, food or drinks are offered. Gave up that flight & went to Quantas where we paid $220.00 with food & drinks included. Quantas flight left before the tiger air. Get a better deal with Quantas plus good service.
