Where's the discount?

I went on their website to purchase concert tickets with the understanding that they were going to be cheaper than buying from Ticketmaster, which is who they actually get their tickets from, and the next day when Ticketmaster did go on sale my tickets were 80% more than getting them from Ticketmaster. Of course I can't get a refund and I won't be able to get my tickets until 2 days before the show to try and resell them. DONT BUY FROM TICKETS AT WORK until you check everything else first.

If you buy tickets through our "Preferred Access" section the price can be higher or lower than the actual price on the voucher. It is even on the website in that section as these tickets comes from various sellers and brokers. You are more than welcome to provide us an order number to look into this matter as well. I have been working for MONTHS to get a refund for a March 2020 Master Chef Junior Live event that has since been canceled. They keep giving me the same unacceptable, canned excuse about third party confirmation that the event was, in fact, canceled. The event is clearly canceled and noted as such in various locations. When speaking with Mark in customer service, he said he could "assure" me the event "was not canceled" despite me telling him it is listed as canceled on the event venue website.

I would never recommend using this company now that it is clear how they operate when things don't go as planned. I would also discourage companies from participating as vendors and/or providing TAW as an employee "benefit." It has cost me more just in the time I've spent trying to get my money back than I saved with the discounted price that was offered by TAW. At a time when people need every penny just to make it through, not providing refunds and giving customers the runaround tells me all I need to know about this company.

Please provide us an order number. If the show is cancelled then a refund will be processed. If the show is postponed as advise in the terms of the "Preferred Access" section we might have to reach out to the seller and see if a refund could possibly be given.

And they dont make exceptions, no matter what. Terrible customer service like that. The movie theater screwed up and they told me I had to go back and basically beg them to give me new seats. Smfh

BUYER BEWARE
August 13, 2021

I prepaid a reservation for a car rental but did not have a debit card in my name. When I called to switch the reservation to my wife's name (whose name is on the debit card) I was told that I had to wait about 3 hours so they can talk with their suppliers to see if this was possible. After finding out that it was NOT possible for them to switch the reservation to my wife's name, I was advised that I'd have to wait about 10-15 business days for an approval of a refund and about another 10-15 business days for the refund to be credited to my account. To add insult to injury, I was further advised that there's a possibility that the money I pre-paid for my rental, would not be refunded... because it's part of their Terms and Conditions. This is supposed to be a company perk. WHAT A NIGHTMARE WHILE BEING ON VACATION! TAW STINKS!

Both myself and my brother-in-law purchased tickets in January through my TicketsatWork account in anticipation of a family trip to Disney World for both families, including 7 children. The trip is to begin 4/26, so we've had to cancel due to the current shutdowns, etc. After calling 3 times since the day after Disney announced its closing and giving our order numbers, we were told to await a refund and to confirm online via the Contact Us link. We were told today that we will not be receiving a refund and have not gotten any reply when asked for further explanation and reasoning. This is detrimental to our families and I am absolutely taken aback that this is how a company would respond, especially when Disney World itself is approving refunds through June. This was planned meticulously as we are from Pennsylvania and they are in Texas, and there is no way that simply extending the dates for the tickets would work, as this trip was a year in the making. I can say that I would not use this system again and cannot justify the marginal amount I saved by using on TicketsatWork for this to be their protocol in a time of crisis.

Tickets at Work is one of the worse companies I have ever dealt with! Do not use this company. We used this company to plan our family vacation to Disney with Frontier. Then Frontier cancelled our flight back in February and issued my refund back to Tickets at work. Tickets at work did partially refund our purchase but not all of it. I called tickets at work and emailed them the confirmation information and called directly several times. For months they kept saying call back in 5-10 business days but no refund was issued.
It is now 4 months later and they still refuse to refund our ticket. After waiting all this time I was told today that they never received the money from the airlines even though I have an email confirming the refund to them from March. They will not let me speak to a manager or give me to contact information regarding who they spoke to at Frontier. This company is a scam because they hope you will give up on trying to get your money back. Don't ever use them to plan a trip. This company is a complete scam! And I still don't have a resolution to my issue...

I called to buy universal Orlando tickets and thought the customer service representatives would be honest and more helpful to guide me with making the correct choice. They sold me express tickets only and refuse to refund me. You don't see the ticket if you order direct through a customer service rep so after I paid I saw it was express only. I decided to call back and asked a second representative to verify her colleague sold me entrance and express. She put me on hold and "confirmed with her manager". This was for my sons birthday alone with 2 of his friend so I spent a lot of money. I tried to book early to save more. At the end we got to park and after scanning was told we were lied to these were only express passes. I quickly called tickets at work and explained we were sold the wrong ticket. To show how dishonest these people are she told "the express tickets were used" I told her how could I if I'm outside asking to refund and sell me entrance tickets. At the end I had buy tickets at the park and still fighting to get my refund for express tickets never used. They knew if the tickets were scanned at the front it would show it was used and then they would use that as an excuse to not refund me. They are a fraud and they will be dishonest especially if you call in and get help from their representatives. I would never use them ever again nor recommend. And I will leave a review every chance I get to warn people.

I booked 1 *******@the YOTEL in DC on 9/11 to spend 1 night on 10/2. There was no information whatsoever that the Hotel could or would charge me a resort fee during the booking process. In addition, my order confirmation had NO disclaimer about any extra fees under Hotel Check-In Policy.
Yesterday at check-in I was told by the hotel employee that a $35 resort fee/facilities fee would be charged on my credit card. I immediately complained about it with no success and then I tried to call the company tickets at work that came with the same vague explanation that they have nothing to do with this fee and they cannot refund anything. The YOTEL was also awful and did not want to refund my money.
I will definitely dispute this charge and I advise Tickets@ work to insert a disclaimer about this to prevent any future problems.
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAPPEN TO ME in 15 DAYS WITH 2 DIFFERENT HOTELS. I WAS LUCKY THE PREVIOUS HOTEL I STAYED ALSO IN DC WAS KIND ENOUGH TO WAIVE THIS FEE BECAUSE THEY AGREED THERE WAS NO DISCLAIMER THAT ALLOW THEM TO CHARGE FACILITIES FEE ON MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL.
The outcome was different this time. Neither the YOTEL or *******@work want to accept they are at fault and should refund the $35 dollar fee I had to pay. They should def refund it and dispute this among them, the customer should never be penalized by their negligence.
I was booking hotels through this site for business purposes very frequently and will never do it again.

Nightmare to deal with
February 11, 2022

I booked international air travel through this company. My original flights were canceled and rebooked. However, the new flights did not work with my schedule. I have been trying for five days to get these flights changed unsuccessfully. Every flight I have asked for I have been told is "unavailable" even though the airline website shows plenty of available seats. Also, I paid extra for premium economy and they are telling me that there are no premium economy seats available on any flight (which I know for a fact is a lie. I called the airline and they verified there are available seats) so they are trying to book me into regular economy for what I paid for premium with NO REFUND for the difference. Isn't that stealing? At this point, I have record of over 11 phone calls and 26 emails with this company trying to get my flights changed with no luck. Apparently, they use a third party booking service who then has to contact the airline. I have to go through 3 people anytime I have a question or want to check a flight which takes hours, if not days. This company has been a nightmare to deal with and I regret the day I used them to book my flights. Do yourself a favor, do not use this company to book anything! The hassle and headache are not worth the few dollars you might save.

I booked my trip with the wrong dates in error. I called them as soon as I realized that the dates were wrong and they said that unfortunately there is nothing they can do and there is NO REFUND. Basically putting 500 bucks in the garbage. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Its a waste of time, money, and aggravation.

We bought 3 5-day passes to Disneyland and now that it is closed due to Covid we can't go and need our large amount money back to live since our hours have been cut. They gave us a "Sorry but all sales are final and there is nothing we can do." We NEED our $3k back to live right now. NEVER AGAIN!

As a 3rd party the refund or credit will have to come from the partner. Also, as advised in the terms of sale, once purchased these tickets are considered final. However, as a company that believes highly in great customer service, we will be more than happy to reach out to the partner to see about a possible credit if needed. I used this to buy Disney world tickets about a week ago, the total should have been 351.82 but I was charged 704.64. Only got 2 tickets and when I talked to them they said they don't see that charge only the 351.82. The payment isn't pending on my banks end, but they said it was my bank so I'm disputing the amount I was charged and they cancel my tickets all together and tell me to talk to my bank. But they aren't giving me back the full amount they charged me. So basically they've stolen 351.82 from me. Like I'm not made of money It took me a while to save up that, and now I'm out tickets for a trip I've already planned and booked. DONT EVER USE THEM THEYRE HORRIBLE WITH THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY HAVE 1 STAR FOR A REASON I WISH I KNEW BEFORE THEY STOLE 351.82 DOLLARS FROM ME!

I reserved a hotel through this company - honestly, with a tiny discount, in hind-sight it was totally NOT worth it! My trip dates got changed and I tried contacting them to amend my reservation, and I basically got the run around for 2.5 weeks. Then they told me to call the hotel myself and ask them to call Ticketsatwork to resolve it. Why don't they proactively do this!? I have spent several hours with back and forth emails and phone calls trying to resolve this, and there has been no resolution. I called today and waited for 40 minutes to speak with a supervisor, they got back on the line and said I can't talk to a supervisor but I can be put on a call back list (guess what? I'm not holding my breath). I spoke to the hotel and they said they couldn't refund ticketsatwork because they never even charged them for the reservation yet.!? Seriously - I'm just being lead into circles over here. I will never use this service again, or any other 3rd party service to be honest. And I will ask my work to stop partnership with them too.

Scammers

I made a reservation with them months in advance and I called to make sure the car rental was and all set to go. We arrived to hertz to find out they couldn't help us because the reservation was under a difference name and the credit card didn't match. They told us we have to call TAW to get it fixed. Once we called they told me I could just cancel it which I agree was fine because at this pointed I wanted my money back and figure out my car situation since we were stranded in Las Vegas with no car. I was on hold for 30 mins and they ended up telling me there was nothing that could be done. I asked to speak to a supervisor and Daniel was even worse. He told me I was pretty much out of 839 dollars and he couldn't help me. I asked them if they could just modify the reservation with the correct name so I could at least get the car and he said nope nothing I can do. Even worse he was rude and said " you can try to get it dispute with your bank but I doubt it'll work". I was so upset I just hung up. I'm now out of 839 dollars and no car. Please don't ever make business with them. The little discount they offer is not worth it.

Our trip to Orlando Universal in May 2020 was cancelled due to COVID-19. The airlines and hotel have been very easy to work with to obtain refunds for this unplanned cancellation (even though my airlines tickets were nonrefundable). HOWEVER, TicketsatWork has not been responsive at all. They responded one time stating the tickets I purchased were non-refundable. I sent several appeals via e-mail (they are no longer taking phone calls - you'll only get a recording) asking for reconsideration due to this unprecedented global pandemic, but have not heard a peep from them. I am SO disappointed - this company doesn't even have the courtesy to respond back. MY ADVICE - ORDER YOUR TICKETS DIRECTLY FROM THE VENUE, DON'T USE TICKETSATWORK!

If I could leave them zero stars I would. I booked tickets to a hotel through this site from May 29,2021 to May 31,2021. I packed my family up and we drove 6 1/2 - 7 hours to Ft. Lauderdale for a mini vacation. We got to the hotel room to find out that our room was never booked. I sat on the phone for 6 to 7 hours on hold, and talking to about 4 different people while riding around trying to find somewhere else to stay with my kids in the car. We kept being told to wait 1 to 3 hours to receive a phone call back, that turned into 6 hours. By this time we had finally found a place to stay, and had to pay more money out of the pocket. Finally, after calling them back sitting in hold for 30min to an hour waiting for the cust serv rep to read the notes left on my account each time I had to call we received notice that they found a room for us. It was too late, we had found a room for ourselves by then. I asked for a refund of my 291.45 and have yet to receive my money back. Two days later we got an email stating that the room was over booked... we were already back at home by then. You can't get a hold of anyone that knows what they are supposed to do, and I want my money back. It took TAW 2 seconds to take that 291.45 off of my card, and it is taking them a century to give me my money back. I will be reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau. This type of operation is unacceptable, and it is a BIG inconvenience, especially when your children are in the car. That was a whole day waisted.
