Last year I had ordered plants online from other suppliers and was extremely dissatisfied in the condition of the plants. I was hesitant to place my order but I couldn't find the particular plant I wanted anywhere locally. The tree center answered all my questions by phone and I order 12 5-gallon plants for a new hedge I am building. They came so well packed, I was amazed that there was so little shipping damage to the pants. When I need something special again, I will have total trust in The Tree Center
The trees we ordered came within a couple of days of placing the order, the packaging was great and the trees arrived in perfect condition. Just as was pictured and described on the website. All planted now and hope to see some new growth next spring!
I bought a shrub at a premium price and it died after 4 months. The same species was purchased at Lowe's 3 years ago and are thriving in the same spot, same care. Lowe's has a one year guarantee and Tree center only guarantees if you buy a plan.
I think if you don't buy the plan they send you second rate stuff.
I bought 2 trees for Christmas decorations and then to plant in the spring. They are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Not only do I love the trees but I also received as a gift spruce seeds to plant! I thought that was extremely thoughtful and I look forward to planting these seeds. Thank you Tree Center!
Second time doing business! Best varieties to choose from…….quality condition upon arrival! My yard is thriving with trees everywhere! Can't wait for maturity should be awesome!
We bought a holly and 2 oakleaf hydrangeas. They arrived promptly via FedEx, in amazing packaging, hefty cartons with internal bracing, plants zip-tied so they couldn't shift around, clearly packaged to tolerate rough handling. Plants were fresh, green, and healthy-looking. Planted next day, by the book. 2 months later all 3 plants have new growth. The hydrangeas had a few leaves turn color, but I'm guessing that's unavoidable stress from transplanting. All seem healthy. Very pleased and would purchase again.
We ordered new Blueberry bushes to replace some that had been cut by our landscaper by accident. The shipping, quality and service we're all excellent even in the middle of the COVID 19 pandemic and George Floyd protests. We'll be back for more soon!
When I received Order Number ******* the Fringe Tree was well packaged; however, when I opened the box I didn't receive a tree, I received a twig about two feet tall and malformed. The limb was coming out about 45 degrees off the crown. Your quality control should not have allowed you to ship this poor specimen
The trees/shrubs arrived on time. The packaging was nicely done and kept the branches from being damaged. They were healthy and very true to size ordered - full of color and branches. Put them in the ground and hoping to see them grow quickly!
I wondered how a live plant/tree would handle the shipping process -- but it arrived in very good condition. It was obvious that the Tree Center put a lot of time and attention into the packaging. The tree is in the ground - so far, so good!
I was very disappointed with the size and quality of the trees and shrubs I bought. Especially for the price. 2 of the shrubs were almost dead and very small for the $50 I spent on each. The Crepe Myrtle trees were about 2.5 feet high for $100 each. I went to the local nursery to replace them and spent $179 on a crepe myrtle that was taller than me and very healthy. I spent a month trying to get someone on the phone that I could do a refund. I finally spoke with someone and found out they don't do refunds. She told me she would send two replacements for the almost dead plants, but that never happened and I can't get ahold of her again. I had also sent three inquiries over their email system but they said they never received them. Horrible customer service, very bad quality of product. I spent $600 with them and it was a total waste of money. Stay away!
uncrated my trees immediately and watered them well. I planted them about 24 hours later. Watering them thoroughly ever other day. I have some healthy evergreen trees growing. Worked Holly tone into my planting soil around the trees. I will reapply in Fall.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the plants and trees I received from the Tree Center. A couple of the plants arrived partialy broken so I prunded off the broken limbs and I'm hoping they will survive - only reason for the 4 rating. Watering right after you receive the boxes is important - some of the plants have experienced shock as parts have dried up and died. I think this is expected given what we are asking the Tree Center to do in order to receive our new trees. Now for the positives - trees and plants arrived as prescribed with no errors. I didn't have to go to the local nursery to drag the plants home or pay the high prices being offered at the nursery for larger fuller trees - I am okay with getting smaller trees that are easy for me to plant on my own versus having to hire a landscaping crew to do the planting. Everything is planted now and looking good. Saved a lot of $$'s doing it myself.
My Japanese Persimmon tree was delivered timely in a very sturdy container, packed with great care and including a probiotic planting pack. If I every need a special plant or want to order a gift for a friend, I would go back to the Tree Center.
I received the tree, but I am very disappointed; this is not what I expected. It is a graft, not a real Maple tree; I assumed I was getting a real 100% Red Dragon. I never saw anything about a graft in any of the descriptions. Also, it is tiny! The graft was a small branch. I would like to return this; but now I find that I must pay shipping to return and thetreecenter only issues store credit. Since I wouldn't want to order ever again from them, store credit is useless. I am very very disappointed. I sent their customer support email address a request for help, but they have refused to answer.
I ordered a Magnolia tree on March 28th. Delivery scheduled for first week of April. Tree ordered was 5 gallon pail size, literature at the time indicated tree would be 5-7 feet. Lots of phone call, emails and promises later, I received the tree in May. Tree was in a 3.5 gallon pail and approximately 24 inches with the root ball. I messaged Tree Center and got back a BS technical response after a week, trying to tell me the 3.5 gallon pot equated to a 5 gallon pot because of horticulture rules. Never use them again. Rich H
I received my tree quickly. The tree center packaged it very well and the soil was still moist when I opened the box. My concern is more related to the carrier who left the package on my walkway laying on the side.
Staff was helpful. I am looking forward to seeing the tree in bloom. Arrived ready to be planted and it was. This was a third order from the Tree Center and have another to order, I am sure they can help with what I am looking for.
Ordered three trees, all arrived in good shape, but I was disappointed with two of the trees had the tops or heart of the tree cut off to fit in the box. I planted all three trees, but the two with the tops cut out look really bad.
Over the last month, I placed several orders with the company. All were delivered within 2-3 days. Plants arrived in excellent condition. The packaging is superb and very protective of the shrubs. The only thing negative that I can state is that you better order the largest sizes you can. The two gallon shrubs are much smaller than expected. The beautiful pictures give a feeling of very large plants. They are only photos of fully mature ones. Other than that, the shrubs are beautiful and healthy and are so far prospering very well. I now have over twelve very exotic plants in my yard. My front plantings are the envy of the neighborhood. Over all, I am very happy with my dealings with The Tre Tree center and have been suggesting them to all my friends. Just be careful on the size you order. I am an 81 yr. Old gardener and so far my plants and I have escaped Covid19
Answer: Do you have avocado trees in any of these varieties? Bacon Brogden Fuerte May Winter Mexican
Answer: They had the tree that I was looking for. Packaged perfectly. Quick ship. Beautiful, healthy and green. Even came with Christmas wrap on the pot. Nice touch. I was very pleased.
Answer: Never tried to get hold of customer service I've had no need to.
Answer: Hello! The 3 gallon Skip Laurels are going to be about 2-3 feet tall, and the 5 gallons are going to be about 3-4 feet tall. You will want to plant these between 2 to 3 feet apart, so, if you have a 20 foot wall, you'll need between 7-10 plants to suffice that space. Hope that helps!
