I tried to order an aftershave from here, and it cost around £60. I put my correct address in, and got a confirmation email containing this. It was set to be delivered last week, until I checked the tracking app and it said "sent back to sender". They didn't tell me this, I just had to find it out for myself. So I call up Royal Mail who tell me they only put half of my address on the package so it was impossible to deliver it, and without my say, it got sent all the way back. After numerous emails back and forth, I was told I could re order it with "the correct address" - despite me doing that in the first place, and was told I could get a refund, but only when it arrived back to them. I explained that this was meant to be a gift, so I didn't want a refund I wanted my order! So they told me it would be sent back to me today or tomorrow. So, using the tracker, I saw it was going to be delivered today so I stayed home from work to ensure I would definitely be here to receive it. Then I check it again a bit later, to see that it said "delivered". When I checked, there was a photo of my package in a place I'd never seen before, and it had been signed by some random woman, in a location 5 hours up the country from me. I have tried emailing again to get my money back, but have not yet had a response. I am a student, so losing £60 is a lot when I'm trying to pay my rent and bills, and now I have to explain to my boyfriend why he doesn't have a 21st birthday gift. I am absolutely furious, don't ever even consider ordering something from here because you'll never get it.
I ordered multiple perfume from them including Gucci-envy me, Ralph Lauren-romance, Juicy couture-rose and Giorgio-Beverly hills. I can tell Romance and Rose are fake. Other 2 still I am not sure as received day before yesterday. Never thought to receive duplicate/fake item.
The "perfume" may be "100% genuine", but I'm quite sure it is watered down. I compared the item I received from them to the same thing that a friend got from a different source. That from Fragrance Shop evaporated without a trace almost immediately, whereas the other lasted until the next day. I had to pay 15% "restocking charge" plus postage to return it, so I ended up losing a lot by shopping with them.
Ordered a product and was never delivered. They claimed DPD delivered it and were happy with what DPD was saying. I requested after several calls to speak to a manager and one of the call girls came back to me claiming she is the manager. Blatantly lying and been unprofessional on the phone.The fragrance Shop is only there to take your money and don't care after your card has been debited. Stay well away!
After ordering 2 times with these people with 2 different credit cards, my credit cards were used fraudulously for online purchases totalling 500$. I don't know if this is just a ''coincidence'' but I, for sure, will not order at fragranceshop.com anymore!
My favorite perfume (Guess 1990) is discontinued and I only have half a bottle left. While researching how to make perfume, it occurred to me that maybe someone already thought of making a smells-alike for Guess. Yes, it's been done! I ordered samples from six companies and a ridiculously expensive "made just for me" version from a scammy company is Michigan.
Only two of these places sent me something that smells like Guess. One was so-so. Fragrance Shop's was awesome! They also kindly included a free sample of a beautiful fragrance, Dark is Night. I like this one and my coworker loves it so much she ordered some for her signature scent!
I also ordered their version of Escada's summer scent, Tropical Punch, for my sister. She says it's even better than the original and lasts longer. Many thanks to The Fragrance Shop! I tell everyone about them because perfume is important for happiness and IFRA ruined so many people's favorites.
Twice royal mail have given me a day and time. And let me down
I'm afraid they are totally unreliable. Not only is disappointing. But we stay in waiting for the parcel to arrive.wasting our time.
The headline basically says it. Although I paid 12.00 for expedited shipping the item didn't come in time for me to give it to my niece. I had to go and buy her another gift. They refused to refund me the expedited shipping. I have called a few times and no answer. I am now stuck with a bottle of perfume that i can't use. I won't be shopping with them again.
This company have saved my back details and renewed a membership I didn't take out. Becareful if you pay by card in store they save your data. Only way of cancelling is to block your bank card. Frauds.
I called FragranceShop yesterday after waiting in a que for 55 minutes. Only to be told they didn't have my itesm in stock. AFTER taking my money. Guy named Stephen was really nice and said I would get a refund immediately. I'm now sat here the next day. Nothing. Currently calling them again to query my refund. This is a day before xmas. I never leave reviews but seriously where else can i go to warn others not to shop here. Wow. Merry Christmas isn't it.
I'm extremely dissatisfied with my purchase as the perfume scent is terrible. I'm convinced it's a fake as it smells far too overpowering to a point that it's given me a headache. I'm well used to Armani Si as it's one of my favourites but I definitely will not be buying from The Fragrance Shop again.
They keep taking money from my account. I had to cancel my card! Customer service don't reply. I will never use this company again, absolutely shocking experience that has spanned 2 months of trying to fix without succes
Without ranting too much. Promised delivery of DIOR SAVAGE for a Christmas gift.Purchased 3 items, only 2 delivered. Don't bother emailing or phoning them. Zero response from emails. Load of bolony from phone calls. Out of funds. No Christmas present. No joy. In short, absolutely shambolic company
Ordered 2 bottles of Fendi (discontinued in UK) spent £86. Arrived promptly, but knew as soon as I saw the packaging it was fake. The scent was vaguely floral rather than the punchy orangey/cloves/patchouli I was expecting. Contacted the company by email, all very lovely issued a returns number etc, but Post Office don't carry perfume, and FedEx charge as much as it cost! Grrrrrrrr! Furious. So frustrated! Feel very duped.
They are shipping wrong products and refusing the pay postage label for returns. Communication is really bad. One representative is emailing this and another something else, no signatures, so I don't know whom I emailing. They don't answer the phone.
Still haven't been able to return the stuff and get my money back.
And they are still advertising the products on their website, even they don't have it.
I had placed an order with this store and it took forever for it to be processed. Don't bother emailing them neither because you will never get a response. Seemed pretty fishy so I canceled it. I will make sure to see a full refund on my credit card. This is the worst online store experience I have ever had. They take your money and ***t all over you without responding to any emails. AT ALL! Thats unprofessional. Oh, and I rated it a star because I had too in order to proceed with my review. I give it no stars!
Absolute disgrace poor customer service fob u off first and last time i would ever shop at the fragrance shop newcastle 3 weeks waiting for purfume only to be told they dont have it but i could have other for double the price its cost me more in phone calls and bus fares than it would of the purfume
Absolutely useless service. Ordered item, never received. Waited hours on end to speak to someone on their customer helpline but NEVER even managed to speak to anyone once, just kept on hold.
Still not resolved! Dont know what else I can do?

I ordered a £50 perfume from this website. After waiting almost 3 weeks for it to arrive, I had to pay an additional £12 for customs charge! I emailied fragranceshop to sort this out but they told me that they are not able to do anything about custom charges that are applied outside of the U. S! I will NEVER buy from this website again and urge others to beware as well!
I purchased some Boucheron cologne from the over the holidays. It arrived with no bouquet. I sent it back for an exchange. I didn't want my money back, just a new bottle - and they said no. I will never do business with these guys again and I encourage others not to. BOYCOTT this store. Stay away. Go with a more reputable vendor like Amazon.
