Salad was not fresh at all; croutons were not crunchy at all, the steak (ordered rare) tasted burnt. I received condiments for baked potato when I ordered a sweet potato. Didn't get any ice cream with the brownie desert I ordered. The butter didn't seem that fresh either. To go service has gone downhill.

NEVER AGAIN

We visited the location in $#*!son City PA with our son, daughter in law and grandchildren. They are so disorganized. This begins with management. We were seated and for 7pm on a Saturday night they should have plenty of custom sized steaks available especially ones offered on their menu. Needless to say they didn't and the waitress had to ask the manager for an answer every time we asked for something.The staff is unprofessional after my husband was hit in the head by the waitress (and she laughed about it) behind us twice we asked for a manager. He was the most condescending and rudest manager we have ever dealt with. The excuse was "we're short handed" NO EXCUSE proper training and an establishment short handed can still be professional.Our grandchildren were getting tired and after 1 hour and 15 minutes food was served including theirs. The children should have been served much sooner. I called corporate and explained in detail and was offered $30.00 off 2 adult meals. Wasn't looking for anything just wanted them to know the poor service. This gets worse. Went to a location near our home in NJ and we chose our steaks and were served Sirloin when we chose boneless Ribeye! We were going to use the coupon offered for the first screw up but in turn we were comped for the error. Sadly when we left our steaks were still in the case. What a joke. That evening I wasn't feeling well... got food poisoning from my guess the appetizer. Three times and we are done. This past weekend we gave it our best shot and final chance. The service was aweful, steak for my husband was under cooked and we were eating in the middle of dirty appetizer dishes up until we paid. The table behind us also complained that their steak was under cooked. Used the coupon and for $56.00 it was crap. Never again going back there! Outback isn't great but better. Soon Texas Road House will be on the going out of business list.

My Gawd! My family& I have been dining at the newest Texas Roadhouse in Florence Ky since January. There is ONE server that is rude, loud& quite honestly the filthiest mouth ever I've heard on a woman. We were sitting to where we could see the expression from the table diagonal from us. Kara(the server from hell) was heard by us& neighboring table commenting on a large table saying they looked like they were smoking crack& the insults kept coming about their children& her guess of how this family lived! My family will NOT be returning until Kara has been FIRED! The same night we overheard her in the kitchen area saying her table was over $100 and left her $7. Was she surprised? Complete lack of respect of others, cussing like a man in a bar. No class, she seemed annoyed when asked by her table for something. This profession takes confidence, patience& the willingness to please the community. This woman has none& we did try twice calling the manager to just get disconnected after 20mins! So a complaint will be sent to corporate. This establishment is great, but no room for a server such as Kara that has little to no respect and a sense of entitlement

Not what was ordered

Went to Poughkeepsie NY for 66th birthday with a party of 6 plus a baby, hoping to pick out a steak but they only had ribeyes. Had a great time ordered the filet medallions with peppercorn sauce ($20). Was served the same meat as on the kabobs ($13). After retiring from 43 years in food service I know better than send anything back to the kitchen. Loyal Roadhouse customers. Very disappointed

I want to Texas Road house for supper we order are meal little past six then. We were told it would be about 45 minutes for food would come out. And about. Ten minutes later she come back and it will be a hour. So hour later here come are meal my wife stake over cook but she took it any ways mine had hair on it and I send back. 20 minutes went past no new meal. My wife was done with her meal so we got are waiters and toll her to cancel my meal we were really Togo the manager came over and said she was sorry but don't really act like it soon left with out supper won't be going back there anytime soon. Very poor customer service

So the other day my family and a few friends when to Texas Roadhouse in Altoona pa we had 12 people six at one table and six at another our service started out ok then it went down when our food came one table received there good but the other did not we waited an hour before anyone came to check on us and it was a manager so we ask adopt the food and it came but it was messed up my friend has a mushroom allergy and so does her mom they ask for no mushrooms when there food came out the mushrooms were hidden thankfully They noticed one and didn't eat it then we ask for the check and they were messed up we ask a manager to help us fix it he did but we didn't pay yet so we waited 15 more minutes for our waitress and she assumed the manager took care of us but didn't then I seen her go to the register and tell everyone how terrible of costumers we were and that drew the line for me because my family goes there every time we go to Altoona and that's never happened to us before and I understand taking care of a large group of people is hard because I used to work in a restaurant but you should never give attitude when someone uses their manners you use them too I don't care how angry you are or annoyed costumer service is a hard job so make sure you can handle it without getting mad and potentially loosing customers

Very poor customer service and waiter product knowledge to pass it on a customer when I told him no bacon on the baked potato because I am allergic to pork products and I ordered ribs thinking that its beef ribs and found out its pork and it didn't say that on the ribs description on the menu

I ordered dinner on Father's Day, was told 7:00 would be ready. Never had problems before. My dinner was ready at 8:30! I was told to go shopping! Had a house full of company! The staff ignored every single person in line for pickup, never asking if they had an order etc. The short blond checking people in with reservations, was shooting off the f bomb in front of everybody! I watched this for 1 1/2 hours. There were people all over the parking lot and in their cars waiting for food. If you can't handle it don't do it! I got screamed at 3 times that it was corporates fault! Never again!

Very good restaurant, but horrible management policy. Absolutely unacceptable for the restaurant of this reputation to have no reservation policy and that you need to visit the place to apply for waiting list of 45 minutes.

This would be probably deal breaking thing for many guests as it was for me.

DONE AND DONE!

They simply don't care what the customers comments are. Called in the complaint number and also emailed about my first experience where we didn't get all of our food or any condiments requested such as butter and sour cream, but there was never any response back. Tried again tonight and the steaks were cooked well well done when ordered medium rare. Ribs were dry & either overcooked or old. They've lost my business and anybody I have influence over. Unconscionable that a Steakhouse cannot cook steaks to order. That's a lot of money
And anticipation of a nice steak to be so disappointed. I'm wondering if you eat in the restaurant they at least attempt to do right by you. Perhaps it's just the to go orders they don't care about. But I'll never try them or give them my $$$ again

Terrible management

Bartender was very attentive (Taylor) but he can only do so much. He should not be expected to run food, bus tables, prepare drinks, take orders and greet customers properly; all the while, the Manager is sitting on his butt, doing nothing, as I am sitting here writing this review. The owners of this place should be here; monitoring what they "expect" and not leave signs everywhere that they are a "family owned business." Huge disappointment and we will not be back. BTW, I travel here for business twice a month and this is my third visit. You have many employees who are attentive here, treat them right! Make this restaurant a place to enjoy!

I tried to place an order online and on the app from 8pm to 8:45pm but it would not let me select a time to continue. I finally got someone to answer the phone and was told they absolutely can't take a phone order and if the online ordering isn't working I would have to come there and order at the window. (Yeah then wait over an hour for my meals) we eat here all the time $100+ for our meals and they can't take the order. We are DONE with Texas Roadhouse! I'm so sick of poor customer service!

I can't believe some of the negative things written, honestly. My coworkers and I went out last night, had Alexis our waitress, she was awesome, the service was awesome! Over tip our wait staff! Y'all got them stimis, let's help out our home town restaurants before we lose them! Go out to eat, be patient, be humble. If you think service is slow, you are welcome to fill out an app!

Very disappointed

I have been employed at the roadhouse for almost 3 years I have complied with everything they have asked me to do I have asthma and bronchitis so for the past year have been forced to wear a face mask. Now the governor has a lifted The Mask mandate and I'm still continued to be forced to wear a face mask but customers can come through the door unvaccinated we are not allowed to ask nor do we care we welcome everyone, but I with asthma and bronchitis and my breathing has gone down 30% in the last year and still being forced to wear a face mask because I have not been vaccinated and I will not take an experimental shot that they do not know what is going to happen to anyone. I love my job but in light of all of this I have put in my two week notice I am not going to be forced to wear a face mask and continue not being able to breathe when right on the box it says this mask will not stop covid-19 so can someone please tell me why I continue to be forced to wear a mask?! Very sad and I'm going to miss my job but I'm not going to have my rights taken from me by anyone!

I would NEVER Spend that kind of money on a steak like that. I chewed what I could and all the leftover went to my dog. He seriously got alot more mear than I did. Would NEVER return for any of that. Also got shrimp which was ALL over cooked. So not impressed by any of it. They also had drinks on the menu that they no longer offered. Nothing we recieved was impressive. I would NEVER go back or encourage friends to do so. Alot of money and nothing enjoyable. Good thing they have rolls
