I have a simple question for them, I was on hold for over 30 minutes, I wonder what would happen if I actually had a problem!

On 4 July 2020, I received a letter dated 22 June 2020 from Currys PC World Knowhow team signed by their Customer Services Manager. In this letter, I was thanked for buying an agreement from them, with said agreement due to expire on 28 June 2021. I was first confused and thereafter upset as my agreement with them(numbered BH2VJRTQ) had actually expired on 27 June 2020 (It had incepted on 28 June 2015), and I had not renewed that agreement nor bought any new term from them. Therefore, I was perplexed as to why I should be sent a letter thanking me for buying an agreement which would expire on 28 June 2021. I thought the letter was either sent to me in error or one of their employees simply made this up.

I called them today, 4 July 2020, on the number provided to me on the letter, *******4000 in order to clarify matters and was on hold for 28 minutes before I could speak to someone from their team called James. Within a minute of me introducing myself and explaining the matter, the call was interrupted. As I did not hang up the phone, I can only surmise that their employee hung up the phone? No one attempted to call me back... I also tried to email them and received a message telling me that my message was undeliverable as customer. Services@... couldn't be found. I tried to submit a complaint via resolver and got an automated message stating "This mailbox is no longer active, please visit our contact us page for further information on how to talk to us... /contact-us-1181-theme. Html". As a last resort, I forwarded the email I had previously sent and which was 'undeliverable' to another email address I found online for Currys in Ireland. I am not sure whether I will hear back from Currys about this issue. Needless to say that I am greatly concerned and Currys PC World Knowhow team have made it incredibly difficult to reach them should one seek to clarify an issue. This is just a very disagreeable experience.

Avoid!
September 16, 2019

AVOID!
Our TV (less than 2 years old) stopped working for the second time in 6 month. After contacting Teamknowhow, they set a time to come and collect the TV on 2/9. They informed us that the TV has safely arrived in their repair centre on the 3/9. They inform us they need to order parts for the TV on 4/9. They tell us on the 9/9 that the TV will be delivered on 11/9 in the morning. No delivery occurs. They tell us it will be 'redelivered' in the afternoon. No delivery occurs. We call. They tell us that the TV was stolen in the truck, but that the driver tried to contact us and failed as the number is incorrect. We ask to check the number. They change the story that the driver has not tried to contact us. They tell us our TV will be delivered on the 12th. No delivery occurs. We call, they tell us the TV was stolen in the truck this morning. We ask how our TV could be stolen twice. They say it is not clear when the TV has been stolen. Their message provides a link to a site that tells us to contact them. When we contact them, we are told 'somebody' will contact us, and they can't tell us more. We have no TV, no news, no idea what the next steps are... And of course, note that calls to them cost 5p per minute!
15/09 Talking on Thursday to the repair centre, they explain that it is now out of their hands, and dealt with by Head Office; which office should call us. No call on Friday, none expected over the weekend;
*Update Monday 16/09, website says please call; we call (at 5p/m), get they will call us. When pressing, told to try head office after 15:30pm, with a number and they cannot help us. Called number after 15:30, no option matching anything, finally queue is at least 10 minutes, call stopped after 9... 17:00, wife has call centre, can't help, no number for head office, can't contact them, can't speak to a manager, 'they' (Head Office whoever that is) will call tomorrow...
