T-Mobile's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices regarding promotions and service quality. Many customers report issues with billing, unresponsive customer service, and difficulties in resolving problems, leading to frustration and a sense of betrayal. While some reviews acknowledge initial satisfaction with service and product offerings, the overwhelming sentiment reveals a trend of distrust and disappointment, particularly concerning support after the sale. This feedback suggests a pressing need for T-Mobile to enhance its customer service approach and better honor promotional commitments to rebuild trust and retain customers.

If not for their call center staff's customer service, zero stars would've been more appropriate. I tried the gateway device for 5G internet for their "15 day trial", returned the device, closed down my account, and still got a bill for $50. Spectrum might raise my prices, but at least I get what I pay for. At T-Mobile I got nothing but a useless black box, horrible internet connection, and a bill I was told I wouldn't receive. Their bills are impossible to read. I won't be trying to do business with them again.
I had them ordered me a watch that they where sold out of in store they ordered me the wrong one and I shipped it back now ups lost it and they still won't refund my money or send me the right watch worst experience ever extremely dissatisfied
BY FAR one of THE WORST EXPERIENCES EVER! Their service SUCKS, their connectivity SUCKS, They are thieves. One of my worst EVER mistakes was switching over from Verizon I. DO NOT USE THEM! They suck so bad I canceled after 3 months. THEY KEPT MY PROMOTIONAL CREDIT Totally DISGUSTED!
She was so helpful and I wanted to write a review for her. She spent alot of time helping me and she was not only helpful but kind and thoughtful. Thank you.
T mobile will stress you out they have terrible customer service they don't keep their word don't speak English well at all the worst of all the phone companies
I used to feel TMobile was both affordable and reliable. I have been with them for a number of years and had not considered shopping around until recently. About 5 months ago, I changed my number and in doing so, I have experienced nothing but trouble since. I was initially charged for three additional phone lines that no one told me about, I then experienced my phone being turned off sporadically and without warning, I then experienced poor internet speeds and service when leaving the house so much so that I now use my internet service while home to ensure I don't miss communications with family and friends. When I call in I also have to give a code, which I think is ridiculous. I also have experienced trying to login online and when I cannot and I've called in for assistance, I've been told I can no longer use my email but have to use the phone number, as if another account for me still exists. It's been a absolute nightmare this past year and I am now looking elsewhere.
I ordered new phones & set up new plan online & then went into T-Mobile to have the phones set up. The plan that I agreed to was different & not in my favor at all compared to what I agreed to online. I called T-Mobile & luckily got Jasper as a representative. This was the very first time that anything was completely fixed & resolved on a T-Mobile phone call. I can't thank him enough for hearing the issue & actually doing something to resolve it completely! T-Mobile needs to hire more people like JASPER!
So I tried to get internet through them. My box was never delivered but instead was returned back in Dec of 2022. This is the end of March and I get a letter stating I owe almost 200. I called yall back in December and said I never received it and you checked the tracking and saw it was returned. Called again in January and Feb same thing happened. But yall kept trying to charge my account for services. Now once again I am on the phone trying to get this resolved. Smh will never do business with Tmobile
Horrible Wi-Fi, paid 100 bucks just for the Wi-Fi to disconnect from all of my devices every 5 10 minutes, always having to pay late fees because they don't know how to do their job and put me in the system, so I can't auto pay and get charged for being one day late or a couple hours late, to wrap it up, don't buy, Wi-Fi is soooo bad and extra charges to you because they don't know how to do thier job
I was with Sprint (which wasn't that great to begin with) but they were bought out by T-Mobile and the second my account was switched over, my service quality dropped tremendously AND my bill went up. I cancelled my service and got a prepaid phone. Turns out, T-Mobile owes me money due to overpayment but they are refusing to refund me. All of these wireless providers suck but at least my bill is the same every month. I'll never come back to T-Mobile.
It doesn't matter who do you talk to, manager or not they never keep their promise, when you mentioned the name that help and they will say: we don't have that name working here
I've been with Sprint for 16 years & it wasn't that great to begin with but since they became t-mobile the service has gone from mediocre to horrible.
They slow down data transfer speed but your phone will still say 4G speed.
I will be filling a report about this with Consumer Protection Agency or any other relevant government Agency.
Tmobile just bought mint mobile, the monopoly is insane & we, the consumers, need to protest such monopolies, seek out class action lawsuits, elect government officials that will prevent greedy-capitalism/anti-real-capitalism
You would think after all the bad comments How did they offend to buy
Fix your dam service switch because you could better or service ans its a joke
EVERYONE SHOULD JUST SWITCH AND WATCH THE GO BROKE
T-Mobile is a crap company. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. This has happened multiple times to many of my friends and now myself included. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR T-MOBILE. Pay the extra dollar to get a company who doesn't screw you over. We recently went into a branch to get an upgrade. The sales associate there was so nice told us he would hook us up and that for our phone (the one we had at the time) he would give us a $1000 credit. We were shocked, because normally they give you max $300 and a different store said it would be like $250 credit. So he started filing documents trying to move as fast as he can. When asked to explain and confirm he said "don't worry about it I got you." Same day we got home and checked out online account, turns out he lied. He only credited $230 and signed us up for a completely different plan. Next day we came into the branch, he refused to help as soon as we asked for digital signatures that were made on our behalf. A person who claimed they were a manager stated they can't help us and no one else we can talk to. When we called later asking for their manager info they refused to provide any information and stated that they don't like my tone (promise I was being polite, I personally worked in customer facing jobs and know what it's like having a difficult client) she ended up saying that she won't share her name, she won't share her manager info or her distract manager info and hung up the phone. The worst customer service I have ever received in my life. That branch needs to be shut down. There were so many clients in the branch with complaints when we were in there originally.
Bunch of liars! I didn't get my promotional gift cer6as promised by several of their reps over the phone. My internet signal drops 2 - 3 times a day, interrupting my TV program.
Sorting was a way better service. I can't stand tmobile. I'm tired of my phone being shut off because I don't pay my bill at 2 am and my phone gets shut off before my due date is even started. The customer service is terrible and most of the time their rude and have zero interest in helping you. When my service was sprint I NEVER had a problem. Would not recommend tmobile to someone I hate.
I don't see what my input will do. On NOVEMBER 20th, 2022, a rep from Philippines changed my plan to allow adding a line and getting the trade in promotion with a credit of $800 for my Ultra 20 Galaxy note. Apparently she did not process correctly and I am let with a nightmare. I still DO NOT have it resolved after making multiple calls, each lasting 1 - 2 hours, speaking to supervisors, promises to fix issues. Walking into corporate local offices, several times for help, saying they are having sales call listen to. To honor promotion AND now it is MARCH 22... NO I AM NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER.
Note: I have recorded msgs from 2 reps addressing the problem, the one on Dec 12th, 2022 about the shipping label and that the rep who took the order did NOT input the promotion. The 2nd msg was from a supervisor on Jan 13 that the issue was corrected... still not. Then they were trying to give me the buy one get $800 credit… but I only received 1 one phone and they took my paid off Galaxy Ultra 20 Note… It has been 4 MONTHS & NOT resolved, as of yet.
* I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and filing another. I am going to do a review on yelp and Google, reach out to TV media to report, hopefully they will consider and make a difference. I know I am not the only one out here with your dragged out broken promise.
No one should have to go through this. I know I am not the only one in this scenario.
Don't trust T Mobile when they tell you your bill is a certain amount! I have been paying other fees as if paying for my bill and someone elses. I am usually charged a extra 30 to 60 dollars a month without stating what the extra charges are for. Also do not fall for their "Free" phone plan! When you add up the extra payments on their phone from providing your own phone... you can buy 4 of the same phones with their extra charges. Don't get suckered into that scheme! I am done with them and switching companies. Update: I returned everything back over to T mobile. Instead of billing me where I canceled my service with them, they are sending my bill to collections as a act of revenge where they was going to charge me a 70 dollar hidden fee outside my billing cycle and charge it again added to my bill which would have been 200 dollars. NO 5G internet and cellphone service anywhere cost 270.00 dollars a month. Also I found out T Mobile are also a Banking Institution like USAA insurance. Any company that offers dual service tied to a bank will steal money from you any way they can. I am now with Verizon, same service and a whole lot cheaper!
Tired annoyed and overweight been with this company going on 12 years in the beginning things were great found out last year that they were charging me 2 years straight for A family plan when it's just me no one will call back you'll continuously explain to different representatives they don't care this will be my last month with this company I should be able to trust a phone company that I've dealt with for so long be careful they just want to sell a plan don't trust them going to a new company I've had enough
Going to complain to the BBB as well this is not acceptable and someone need to be held accountable
If you did your investigation you would have already concluded Tmobil would be a horrible choice for internet service. If you're still In doubt, consider my experience. For the first month everything ran fine then the stufff hit the fan: service was intermittent at best, we were never able to stream more than 10-20 minutes of Netflix or any other content provider. Repeated calls to Tmobil evoked the same B/S response "we're having technical problems in your area, technicians are working round the clock to fix the problem." This went on for almost two months and despite repeated promises to make us happy and issue a credit for the interrupted service it never happened. They never issued the promotional debit card ($100) we were promised though we're well beyond the 6-8 week processing period they cited in their offering. When we called to cancel they acknowledged having received several complaints from us in the last 6 weeks. In requesting a refund we pointed out that in addition to loosing the ability to stream and extremely slow computer performance we had absorbed monthly charges for Netflix, Prime Video and Hulu none of which we we able to enjoy. This discussion was elevated to the supervisory level where we expected some sensible and fair resolution. Never happened: all we got were excuses and a statement that their records indicated that we were enjoying great signal strength. Really, so the system was running great and we had nothing better to do than make frivolous complaints? In the end they offered to issue a $25 credit: how insulting! Hopefully, this review will help other avoid the mistake we made. Keep searching for alternatives, this company sucks!
Answer: Take the cheapest, clunkiest, most useless data coverage you can imagine. Now imagine it not even working. You pay for something that is USELESS.
Answer: This is typical of t-mobile. It will not let me leave a review.
Answer: T-Mobile will let you keep your old number... IF IT IS AVAILABLE. I do not know the requirements or rules, but years ago, I was allowed to keep a number I had had for years past.
Answer: See, your other customers see the same thing. In plain words, you suck ass.
Answer: Better Business Bureau is the only way to force an american to talk to you
