T-Mobile's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices regarding promotions and service quality. Many customers report issues with billing, unresponsive customer service, and difficulties in resolving problems, leading to frustration and a sense of betrayal. While some reviews acknowledge initial satisfaction with service and product offerings, the overwhelming sentiment reveals a trend of distrust and disappointment, particularly concerning support after the sale. This feedback suggests a pressing need for T-Mobile to enhance its customer service approach and better honor promotional commitments to rebuild trust and retain customers.

Completely outsourced by 3rd world millionaires. Run! TMOBILE/ SPRINT is awful! You will be disappointed.
Dropped calls even when using WI-FI. The moment the merged with Sprint my service began to have problems. I dropped them in 2012 and switched to Sprint. Lo and behold they merged. They charge me extra for Mega Magenta and I still have horrible reception but they don't care as long as the payment goes through. I've sat on the phone with tech for hours to experience terrible reception. I'm over it. No I'm not. I'm not happy.

You suck so bad. You really suck. Here's so more of you suck.
You need 100 characters to tell you how bad you suck.
No longer gives payment plan options.
I do not like t-mobile they changed and are not a far company anymore.
I been a customer for 16 yrs. I wanted to remove myself from family plan and they had meon hold and transferred over 10 times and they said the account holder has to call and she did. They won't transfer it. Bunch of layers.
My husband and I switched our phones from T-mobile to AT&T last year and we continued to be charged by T-mobile. I called in November 2022 to make sure that our account was closed and was told that an investigation would be done to look into why the account had not been closed and that we would be contacted regarding the outcome of the investigation. With the craziness of the holidays, I did not think to follow up. We found out that we were still being charged by T-mobile so I called again in February to find out what was going on and was told that an investigation had never been done, and that our account had not been closed. After that conversation, I was told that we would receive some sort of refund and that we would get a final bill that included whatever we owed on the devices that we still had payments on. We got our final bill for like $13 that we assumed had the refund and the final amounts that were due on the decives. After we received the initial final bill, we received 2 more additional final bills. When I called yet again, I was told that no refund would be issued, that the charges were valid, and the 2 additional charges we got after the initial final bill had been sent, they made "adjustments" that resulted in the additional charges. I could not get a straight answer from them as to why the final bill we initially received was not correct. I understand why my friends and family members left T-mobile and just reaffirmed when we left.
They screwed my family out of almost 3,000 dollars. The service is not good. Not worth what they want for plans. They got big mad when we decided att would be better for us. I do not recommend tmobile, expecially if u need multiple lines.
Sold me a wifi hotspot wont connect to the internet. No sim card. Stole my money lied to me. -50stars
This company should be closed.I went into a T-Mobile store to open a business account and purchase the Iphone 14. The rep sent sevral links for me to sign up but the process never went through. No response from rep after countless phone calls and emails. Then I get a bill for 175.00. No account no phone nothing. Custmer wervice is a joke I explained what happened. They still asked to send me a code to a phone i never got. I went into the store they finally cancelled the lines. But still tried to charge me 175.00.
I tried to get a phone and at the beginning of our conversation I wasn't going to pay anything up front but after they got all my personal info they drop the hammer and give me the bill crooks and thief's
I have had many cell phone providers over the years and they are by far the worst company ever! They over charge constantly with hidden fees and I discovered that the price that they charged me for my phone was double what the retail value of the phone should have been! I am like so many other customers that have submitted negative reviews and hope that they go out of business!
Honestly i have been using tmobile for 12 years, never had a problem until now. And it ruined my expectations and view of the company overall. The tech and cell workers are good people who try to help, however my cellular has not been working for over 2 months and i have called over 5 times to try to get it fixed. Even getting a new sim like they recommend. A week after getting told that a tower was down near my location and that it will be back up in 2 days. It still hasnt worked. I dont want to switch data companies but this is really agitating me and i still have not had this issue resolved.
What a bunch of crooks. Contract says one thing, verbal says another. Rep says just trust us. take our word for it.
I am a long time Sprint customer who was transferred to T-Mobile this past summer without being asked. At approximately the same time I started a new phone contract for my daughter and was told by T-Mobile at the store where I received the phone, that the phone was unlocked. My daughter needed that phone unlocked for international travel as a security measure for the gap year program that she will be attending, Despite numerous phone calls to try to have the phone unlocked, I have not been able to do that! That is terrible in and of itself, However, my other daughter, who got a phone at almost the same time, was able to have her phone unlocked. So when T-Mobile says that their policy is not to have unlocked phones they are misrepresenting their policy and are lying to their customers. I am so very disappointed with the terrible customer service and the lying that was done. Absolutely terrible!
I haven't even had their internet for a month and they do maintenance on the tower I'm getting WiFi from without telling me. Whatever they did now my internet won't stay connected for more then a few minutes. I run my business with this internet and after spending 5 hours of my time on the phone they sent me in circles and nobody seems to know why it won't connect. One of their staff says I need some sort of an upgrade using a term I didn't know and after 30 minutes on hold I forgot what it was. She didn't bother putting it in the notes and expected me as a customer to pass the message along to tech support - I don't even know their terms. My internet still doesn't work and I called this morning to ask to speak to a supervisor and they told me nobody was available but I'd get a call back it's been hours - no call. If you have a business don't bother it will lose you money.
Ive been with this company for many years I have 7 lines and 3 other lines so total of 10... Well I signed up for a deal that they have with free tablet and you pay 10 a month for wifi. Now they are billing me 50 and refuse to change it back I do not take this with a kind heart.
So sad looking for a new servicer
I switched to TMobile 2 years ago with a new phone and 2 year contract. Their coverage map show 5g coverage over entire Hampton Roads area. The reality is TMobile only coverage is 1 to 2 bars in most of Hampton Roads, a major metro area. I have contacted TMobile multiple times and they tell me they are having some issues with towers and it should be resolved shortly. They have been saying this for 2 years now. If you want to try TMobile, my advice is do not let them give you a phone and lock you into a 2 year contract. TMobile is useless if you plan to travel because the coverage they show on the map for USA is not accurate. Unless you are within 1/2 mile of their weak towers, you will not get reliable signal.
I've found coverage in Tennessee to be very spotty. If you don't have good wifi most places you go, use another carrier.
Almost useless. A carrier pigeon would be an improvement. Do not buy into this crap. I ask about the areas of coverage and was assured that they had great coverage, its very spotty at best. Most times there is absolutly no service. Total waste of money.
Answer: Take the cheapest, clunkiest, most useless data coverage you can imagine. Now imagine it not even working. You pay for something that is USELESS.
Answer: This is typical of t-mobile. It will not let me leave a review.
Answer: T-Mobile will let you keep your old number... IF IT IS AVAILABLE. I do not know the requirements or rules, but years ago, I was allowed to keep a number I had had for years past.
Answer: See, your other customers see the same thing. In plain words, you suck ass.
Answer: Better Business Bureau is the only way to force an american to talk to you
