T-Mobile Reviews Summary

T-Mobile's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices regarding promotions and service quality. Many customers report issues with billing, unresponsive customer service, and difficulties in resolving problems, leading to frustration and a sense of betrayal. While some reviews acknowledge initial satisfaction with service and product offerings, the overwhelming sentiment reveals a trend of distrust and disappointment, particularly concerning support after the sale. This feedback suggests a pressing need for T-Mobile to enhance its customer service approach and better honor promotional commitments to rebuild trust and retain customers.

It's concerning that despite multiple attempts to resolve My billing issues, I still have not received a satisfactory explanation as to why for 3 days of service and one phone I was charged $350. It's frustrating that even after returning a faulty product, I still haven't received my refund after a month. This type of behavior is unacceptable for a company that should prioritize its customers.

It's disheartening to hear that you were promised escalation and follow-up calls but have received nothing. This lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable, and, understandably, I wouldn't recommend T-Mobile to others based on your experience.

In conclusion, T-Mobile's poor service and customer service left me with unresolved billing issues, a faulty product, and a lack of communication. Hopefully, this company can learn from your feedback and work towards improving its service and customer satisfaction.

TERRIBLE connectivity. The amount of lag, latency, and inconsistencies are completely ridiculous. It seems like the service gets worse and worse every single year. You advertise this "merger" deal BS, yet consumers have gotten absolutely ZERO improvement or even lowered prices. The difference between 5 bars of signal and 2 bars of signal has absolutely zero difference on speed or reliability. The only reason I'm even still on T-Mobile is because of the family plan I don't own. T r a s h for YEARS. I've had T-Mobile since 2017, and it has been terrible since before 2017. T-Mobile Tuesdays? You mean we go from free subscriptions and movie tickets, to 25% off a hotel or $10 off from some company nobody has ever heard of? Bunch of gimmicky crap in attempts to draw less attention from the actual services provided.

T-Mobile is complete $#*!. I am in a long-distance relationship and my boyfriend currently pays for my phone but he sense got a different phone because he no longer like T-Mobile so my phone stayed with T-Mobile, and he switched to Xfinity. He paid for the rest of the month that I had for my phone to be on and then after that month my phone was completely turned off. I was no longer able to make any calls or send any messages without Wi-Fi yet T-Mobile is trying to charge him $275 even though my phone has been turned off and not in use. I tried to switch the carrier and they told me that I had to pay $275 before I was allowed to switch my carrier which is wrong because I should not have to pay something when I wasn't given any extra months of service. There is no reason I should be getting charged $275 for nothing so please never go to T-Mobile unless you wanna get $#*!ed in $#*!.

Beware of T-MOBILE
April 19, 2023

Be very cautious about online chat to obtain new cellular service through T-Mobile. Agents do not know their product lines and give misleading information regarding values for trade in devices. After two and a half hours of chatting with an agent I asked when the value of my trade would be determined and she stated at the time they receive the pre-application. I ended up filling out the application with my personal information and I submitted them asked what the value of my trade in devices came in at. At this point the lies unraveled. I informed her I had screen shots of my question and the answer she provided. I asked for her direct supervisor. She supplied me with customer service. From there the run around trying to get to speak to a supervisor continued for another hour before they just placed me on a long hold and disconnected the call. With the ethics of the sales team and the lack of concern from all parties, customer service to sales to activation I would recommend using extreme caution when considering changing to this Carrier

ZERO
April 18, 2023

TMobile has gone to absolute CRAP. I miss Sprint! Recently TMobile has transferred all of their call centers to the Philippines. Customer service is HORRIBLE. Each call takes at least 4 times as long as it should. Transferred repeatedly to another annoying customer service representative reading from a script. Having to repeatedly explain the issue over and over again. Even the fraud department and tech support are in the Philippines. It is absolutely NOT the same customer service as we would receive from an American based customer service department. TMobile thinks they are saving money but they are losing customers and making us hate them. Just look at their ratings! I would absolutely find a provider with an American based customer service department and pass on any company who outsources their work. You will save yourself hours of your life and unneeded stress caused by the annoying out of touch overseas call centers!

Would not recommend. They are dishonest. They will promise 50.00 per month internet and then the bill will be different. A lot more than what they tell you will have to pay.

Caller ID's on the 6 devices I manage are not showing up with correct names of the users. Tech help chat is OK but they can't seem to get it corrected. We are small family business and correct caller ID is essential. Also, users with iPhones advise that other users numbers are being blocked or not recognized. Our business has been with Sprint since 1998 with no glitches at all. T-Mobile has really fouled us up. Service is spotty and there is no 5G; very little 4G service without frequent dropouts. For us to transition to another carrier is going to be a big headache since business partners are all over the USA.

I attempted to start service 3 times. Canceled every time. A friend worked there and told me the issue was that I kept going to authorized dealer and not tmobile directly. That's why I kept getting lied to. She took me to a store. They promised 3 lines for 85 dollars a month. I was very direct in my question. My total bill will be 85 per month, not per line. They said yes. For 2 months I paid 85 dollars. Then it jumped to over 160 per month. I was also supposed to get a $1000 credit on my phone that I didn't get. Customer service is just as bad. They lie and lie. I ask them for a simple yes or no answer. Are they going to fix my bill. They can't do it. I cut them off and say the only words I want to hear are yes or no. I don't need an explanation trying to justify the lies I have been told. The customer service agents are not smart enough to understand a simple question and answer directly. I ask them 5 times and hang up. They call back and once again. I state if you can't give me a yes or no, you are wasting my time and I have no reason to talk to you. If you say anything other than that, don't call back when I hang up again. One out of 3 or 4 answered. Guess what, they lied too. I am leaving them and will never return. I thought Verizon was bad, but they are fantastic compared to tmobile. Not to mention the speeds. U may win if you try to download a speed test, but try getting a picture or go online. 3g Verizon was faster. Tmobile on 4 phones is like having AOL on the 90s. P.s. No I don't a cheap phone.

Won't honor their 15 day money back guarantee for their internet service, and won't fix their own errors. Do NOT even attempt to try their lousy internet service, they bill you even after returning their hardware within the 15 day trial period, promise you a refund within 72 hours, then call you back in 96 hours and make you hold and hold forever while they "manually" process a refund that you never actually receive. Their customer service is in India. They lie, they don't do anything they promise, AND their internet doesn't work at all, even for a security light only 20 feet away. Don't waste your time, energy and good money on their scam. RUN AWAY TO ANYBODY BESIDES T-MOBILE!

A while back, I wrote a review about some numbers I ported over from AT&T to T-Mobile that was four years ago. One of the numbers that I ported has had a problem since day one and I told him that I thought it was porting issue. That was four years ago here recently they finally got that problem fixed as it turns out I was right it was a porting issue so I've had a full line of service are supposed to be full line of service that's only work somewhere for four years that's $960 to pay for a full service line that only works when it wants to reverts back to AT&T when you're traveling or goes to SOS or some other awful thing not that it was a continual problem but when you pay for full service online, you should get full service online when they insulted me with a three dollar credit I decided I would contact the FCC and I did sell and within two days they're corporate trying to get a hold of me now let's see if they make it right I probably wouldn't of went here except for the fact that they insulted me number one and number two they cannot charge for a line that's not fully ported or fully operational and they know that and they will fight you and hope you'll give it up. So my suggestion to anybody else has had this problem and I'm sure that there are others out there that have figure out how long it was that they charge you for for Lana service and contact the FCC and file a complaint like I did. In my eyes since I told them if they didn't correct it that's what I was going to do that's what it takes to get them to correct the problem and make amends for their mistake. So if anybody as part of the number from another carrier over to T-Mobile and if you had a similar problem, feel free to contact FCC. Here's the number. *******275

I was having issues for 6 months with this company. They had more devices on my bills what I don't have. They phone running hot, freezing up, calling people phone when I am not in my phone they still wouldn't assist me. Instead they want to charge me more money to get things fix when I paying insurance and apple care on the phone. I wouldn't advise nobody to switch over to t-mobile. They are garbage. If my pictures wasn't to big I would post how much times I call them for this week alone.
