T-Mobile's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices regarding promotions and service quality. Many customers report issues with billing, unresponsive customer service, and difficulties in resolving problems, leading to frustration and a sense of betrayal. While some reviews acknowledge initial satisfaction with service and product offerings, the overwhelming sentiment reveals a trend of distrust and disappointment, particularly concerning support after the sale. This feedback suggests a pressing need for T-Mobile to enhance its customer service approach and better honor promotional commitments to rebuild trust and retain customers.

I had been a Sprint customer for 10 years, oh and by the way work in Big Tech. Once my account changed from Sprint to TM, I could not pay my bill online, because I couldn't get their stupid code text messaged to me on their Sprint/TMobile Phone. Five months in a row I spent 2 hours a month to fix it SO I COULD GIVE THEM MONEY and they can't figure out technology for the Web or the phone. Don't waste your time, life is too short to put in that much effort to give them money.
I first started out with Sprint. Years ago, when sprint was by itself, the folks I would socialize with never had it. No one around me really liked sprint, and for that reason, I choose sprint and buy I'm a glad I did. Now, T-Mobile, I could not be happier. T-Mobile is now blowing out the competition. I took a chance on a brand and service that would provide me security as well as connectivity that, at the time, a while back, was a very judged brand. I brand that was known for certain things etc. Now, years later, I sit here writing this thinking how great full I am for taking that chance years ago, and sticking through with it! Thank you Sprint and T-Mobile for the opportunity's your services helped me create. Thank you for the connections you helped me find. Thank you for the late night phone calls, the "drunk" late night messages, and now, the ability to complete school work and a degree at home!
Jeremy the guy who helped me at the T-Mobile store in broad headville save me so much money so helpful. I will never use any other Carrier again. That man knows his stuff am I ever needed? I would go to him again that man was great thank you.
My reception comes and goes but mostly goes. If it does not get better soon I'm switching to another provider.
El servicio Al cliente apesta cuando uno discute algo y la jente se lo toman personal de berian de cambiar eso en lo personal nunca regresaria a.T mobile.
I transferred my mobile service to a new provider - T Mobile were charging me $68.00 a month with $5.00 off for auto pay. I found a Boost Mobile SIM card at Target for $14.99 for three months unlimited calls and texts and 5 GB data. When I did the transfer, it was one day after the beginning of a new billing cycle. Not only no one informed me of that but I was explicitly told by the rep that I will be only charged for one day. I am going to dispute that last upcoming charge of $73.00 for one of service because no one told me and because I was left without service for two days during transferring of my account, waiting on hold, calls dropping and no one calling me back. Of course when I initially called to cancel my account, I was offered a gazzilon deals and discounts just to stay with TMobile. Since I was firm that I was leaving, I was dropped like hot potato and the next several calls that I had to make to strengthened things out, I was sent to call centers in the Philippines. Never going to recommend T Mobile to anyone! Extremely greedy and complete vultures! Do yourself a favor and choose one of the discounted new companies where you can get a service for about $15 a month!
Purchased a tablet and 3 months later it stopped working. I returned it to 2345 E. Coast Highway, Newport Beach, CA *******. It was faulty and I was informed I was not liable for the remaining balance. For 8 months I have faught with TMobile and now I'm in collections. $#*! You T-Mobile!
I switched from Verizon to tmobile 4 months ago and I regret it, I have to call them twice a month to fx my bill, you will never have the same bill never, every time they apologize and promise to give you credit back, never happen it they will change you again and again for things you didn't order or used. Not worth your time energy and money. Going back to Verizon..
I used Tmobile for years, and then I've the last few years service got worse and coverage was spotty even in places it should have been perfect. So I canceled with Tmobile and moved to a different provider. Now, despite getting a final bill that says the accounts on autopay, they sent that final bill to collections. I received both the bill & collections letter the same day.
I spent an hour trying to reach a rep, only to be told they can't look up my account.
If you're a use to be sprint customer good luck lol. These people on both ends are just foreign idiots. Will give you the absolute run around on the phone and bounce you back and fourth between sprint and T-Mobile. You'll get no answer. All they'll say is you're the problem in a round about way. My sister and I were over charged by $1700 and they won't refund it. Happened in the middle of their merge due to no communication on their end. If I could give zero stars I would. Take your service elsewhere and put these scumbags out of business because we'll be doing the same.
When you're connecting the internet service for your home or one of your devices everything goes smoth. I had the service for about 5 months and then when I tried to cancel the nightmare started. From going to the actual stores, 3 of them to calling customer service, it took me 7 hours to cancel the service.
Ron in amsterdam office very helpful and professional no matter how many times I called him or how many questions I asked. He made the migration from sprint easier where sprint was difficult to deal with. Would recommend Ron to anyone.
I have been with them for over 14 years and they never treat me right. One time I saw a promotion on their web that Apple Watch SE half off so I paid upfront for $165 so I will be paying monthly for the LINE only and as long as I keep the Watch for 24 months. Guess what T-Mobile still charge 6.88 per month, why? I called and asked them why? They said cuz the watch haven't paid off yet? I was pissed off. But anyway DO NOT believe on any promotion on T-Mobile website neither their workers. Such a liar company out there.
Back in December 2022, I decided to add a line to my account, the promotion they had going was trade in my iphone 13 for upto $850 toward the new phone when i added a line, did all of this thru my phone application, for some reason it kept not working the management team kept saying the delays where due to shipment staff shortages, then i was offered to go to a tmobile store that may have the phone in stock and that they would honor same promotion.
Went to a tmobile store after driving over an hour from my home to find it, did all with a management team representative from the customer service department and the customer service at the store they did all of it together so that i get what i needed done to get my promotional phone with new line and turn in my other iphone 13. Ive called since then about not getting my credit for the phone i traded when i added the new line. Ive been told that the the representative did not do what was needed to get the promotion and that the promotion has expired and there is nothing they can do to help me. Ive called nervously talk to brick walls asking to speak to higher authourity been told i would get a phone call and have not hear from them this is my 7th day waiting on a call they keep saying they called and i dont answer but yet my phone has no missed calls or voicemails from anyone from tmobile. Last time i asked to get the call back i was told i was wasting my time because i would be told over and over the same thing. And this is my 2 weeks now waiting on something to happen and we been a tmobile faithful customers for 10+years
Nothing works ever, can't watch t.v because the wifi and internet sucks a big fat ding a ling. You can't talk to anyone because the dot heads from across the waters you can't understand $#*! their saying. T. Mobile needs to burn to the ground they are 100% junk garbage, trash, $#*!..
I called in about charges to my account and the rep Edwin was unwilling to help correct what the sales representative (#****553) at Store# 1CSI. I was told that the iPhone 14+ included the liquid screen protector in the price. This was a lie, you are charging me $4.17/mo + the phone cost. The same rep also "waived" the $35 activation fee, which was a lie per my receipt. This is fraudulent inducement & deceptive trade practices! They also sent me home with an internet device that was supposed to have a 30d trial period, nope, same rep gave false information. It was only a 15d trial period and they attempted to charge me for that as well until the store returned the device to THEIR warehouse! I held to speak to a supervisor for 30min then was disconnected - I spent more than 1.5 hours on the phone to get this corrected - now no one will help!
This past weekend (April 28,2023) I went to return a T-Mobile phone (sent to me by mistake) to the bricks and mortar T-Mobile center on Rt. 11, according to telephone instructions received from a live T-Mobile customer service representative. I told the clerk why I was there and he disappeared to speak to his manager. He came back and said they "don't get involved in that." He gave me two identical mailing labels for two different phones (I am expecting problems about this, too) and I said that I didn't want to do it that way, that I wanted to leave the T-Mobile phones with a service center to insure T-Mobile has them. He disappeared again, this time for a longer time, and came back to tell me they wouldn't do it. I said, "You're refusing to accept a T-Mobile device at a T-Mobile center?" and he said, "Yes." At no time did the manager appear, though there was only one other couple in the store being helped by a different clerk, and the place was otherwise empty of customers. The friend who was with me remarked on the rudeness expressed by the clerk and said he was surprised I kept my temper. He also expressed surprise that the manager stayed hidden in an office that was so close he could obviously hear he had a customer with a significant issue that was definitely not resolved to my satisfaction, and that the clerk needed reprimanding or at least retraining.
Month of Sep 2022 I buy service form T mobile and paid $110 Initial Change for 3 line, after receive Card found that monthly bill is not what I was told Initially so I ask to cancel service and was told there wont be any changes and I will get refund of Initial change of Sim card, which I did not get refund back after multiple call as they cannot locate my account properly after giving all of my information's, I even visit T mobile store for same concerns but they cannot help and told I need to call customer support team which seems to outsourced to place where agents cannot understand basic English and grammars and got tired of follow up, after month start receiving bill for $225 so I call to inquiry and again similar quality of agents cannot able to provide details of bill. So I start Ignore bill which very quickly went to collection agency and they did report to my credit report within month which is really quick did not expect to go that fast specially they cannot enplane changes properly but I did end up pay Money just to secure my credit history but try to contact for formal complain to correct department so it can at least addressed. And try to make correction on sales and collection department sync up.
Until that due to limited phone company I will try to avoid T Mobile
I would live to negative stars but that is not an option. T Mobile needs to go back to Sprint. T Mobile is a $#*! show. You have to have a damn password to get your balance and pay a bill...What a inconvenience! I would switch but I've been with Sprint over 20 years. TMobile you need ro do better because what you have now is some bull$#*!! I should be able to pay my bill will ease like it was when it was Sprint! Sometimes simple is better so FIX IT!
I joined tmobile 2 months ago and at the time I was just going to add my existing phones to this new a account. But the manager Carlos at the del amo store told me I can get two brand new phones as a promo at 800 discount off two phones for a total 1600 discount. I received 800 for my phone immediately but not the iPhone I got for my husband. Now I've called and chatted numerous times and everything at the end they say oh this will be applied within 3 days. I have still seen no discount applied for this. DONT TRUST THEM THEY LIE AND DO NOT HONOR ILL BE LEAVING TMOBILE ASAP
Answer: Take the cheapest, clunkiest, most useless data coverage you can imagine. Now imagine it not even working. You pay for something that is USELESS.
Answer: This is typical of t-mobile. It will not let me leave a review.
Answer: T-Mobile will let you keep your old number... IF IT IS AVAILABLE. I do not know the requirements or rules, but years ago, I was allowed to keep a number I had had for years past.
Answer: See, your other customers see the same thing. In plain words, you suck ass.
Answer: Better Business Bureau is the only way to force an american to talk to you
