T-Mobile's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices regarding promotions and service quality. Many customers report issues with billing, unresponsive customer service, and difficulties in resolving problems, leading to frustration and a sense of betrayal. While some reviews acknowledge initial satisfaction with service and product offerings, the overwhelming sentiment reveals a trend of distrust and disappointment, particularly concerning support after the sale. This feedback suggests a pressing need for T-Mobile to enhance its customer service approach and better honor promotional commitments to rebuild trust and retain customers.

They charged me for 2 replacement phones one came the other never showed up. It is crazy. I gave them everything they asked for. They now want 2,000. To turn on my service. This is really nuts.
They have $#*!ty customer service, this is the 2nd junk phone I purchased and now they want a signature before they send the phone after they already charged my account
The T Mobile in Midland Park, NJ. Forgot to mention the free phones have hidden fees remaining that doesn't cover the total fee on the free phone!
His Exact words were you will never pay more than $140.
I asked about taxes he said never more than $140. (2× he told me)
The first 2 bills were less the 140. Each were a different amount. I'm like Ok?
So, I get my 3rd bill and it is for $156.OK?
Nothing can be done and it is too late to return!
Wow, should I be shocked I was lied too?
As soon is the free phone is paid for back to these bastards I'm leaving T Mobile. For sure.
Look at those sixes. Wow.
I don't recommend liars. Straight up.
T mobile sucks. I made big mistake switching. Worst service and worst customer service. I am telling you. I am so disappointed. Don't go to T-Mobile.
Spent 2 hours on the phone to hear that I need to come into a store. Totally unacceptable. They allowed the activation fee to be waived. I asked if I go in person will they waive it and they said no. Horrible service, do not go with T-Mobile.
I had a terrible experience with T-mobile customer service chat. It lasted about 20 minutes and was slow and terrible.
Wow I don't know where to begin. Not happy at all can't receive picture messages from some people or calls... they blamed it on their carriers. Of course not their fault lol. The free phone I got for my kid locks you into a two year contract I've had to pay 300 dollars so far I've been with them for 2 weeks and my next bill will be ready in 11 days... just a joke to talk to anyone, I guess I'll have to deal with $#*!ty service for 2 years or pay them 800 dollars to get out... feels like I could have got some lube at least... -10/10
I purchased 2 new phones in Nov 2022. The promotion was if you open a new line you could get the phone for $800 and a line free. That would make me have 4 lines. That would work out cheaper than changing my plan. Come to find out that first they changed my plan anyway and second, they charged me for both phones, $33.33 every month. I have now called 17 times, 4 times today and trying to get my plan straight and the credits due, no one seem to know what to do. I am about at my wits end.
$#*! team mobile I think with the headache that I'm dealing with. I should get free service for at least a couple months. I've been trying to pay my bill and every time it says sorry can't hear you.
I give one star because I can't give zero stars. I got a mobile hotspot that was defective and it worked for only 3 days. After several calls and walking back and forth to the stores, I returned it after less than 10 days and was not supposed to be charged because I was within the 2 weeks trial period. Not only they were very rude and kept me waiting forever on the phone and chat, but they tried to bill me for the whole month for something that did not work and was returned. I don't recommend this company to anybody, there are many others big companies that provide a far much better and transparent service.
I would give t mobile a -10 stars if I could. I have a old damaged phone that I'm trying to get important data off of and they shut off my current services and tried to bill me $800 for a new phone that my insurance covered when all I wanted was to get my old fixed. No sympathy and horrible customer service. NEVER COMING BACK.
Just Re-up my service May 10. It has been 6 days and they said my high speed data is gone. No, it should not be. So, I am dropping them when my service is up. Because, they like to cut people short of the data. So, I am cutting them.
I paid my phone off, which I initiated with Sprint. T-mobile, also know as T-crooks, now wants to charge me 300% more for a new phone. Plus I've been on hold for near an hour to talk to these schmucks!
Service has declined rapidly. I cannot tell you the amount of misstatements, misinformation and outright lies I have experienced at T-Mobile stores and sometimes over the phone. I am wasting too much time trying to correct their errors. I am now looking for alternate service providers. I simply cannot believe that this is still the amazing company that I contracted years ago when they were called Voicestream. Service Peake around 10 years ago. Not sure what happened but I am bailing.
We lost our phone, Sergio assisted us in timely manner and even gave advice on how to erase data etc.
I have been with Sprint for many years and never have had an issue with data, text, or voice calls. With my new iPhone 14 plus, is hard to make phone calls, surf the web, and text in the last three months. I have to try some one else.
The most useless customer service, nobody care about your problem, I bought a new phone, UPS try to delivery on a broken box with not phone inside for sure, I notified T-Mobile right away, as been almost two weeks and I didn't get my money back, keep away from this company.
The worst customer service I've ever dealt with in my life. I'm 58 female, my only stress is dealing with T-Mobile customer service. I've spent seven eight hours on the phone trying to get an answer to a very simple question. Quickly answered by a manager of a TMobile store.
45 min wait never helped had to leave for a screen protector! Staff was on same customer 45 that's ridiculous! Move the line! Was at Berlin tpk newington ct store
Deplorable internet connection. If you want to switch... just don't. Also don't expect to do anything but watch Youtube... at most. EXPECIALLY if you have more than one person using it. Don't expect more than 4mb/s (Aka unusable), Sometimes Speeds will spike up to like 100mb/s+, but then immediately go back down to 3mb/s - 15mb/s. I would recommend Verizon, because it provides Consistent usable internet speeds, ranging from 45mb/s (Consistently), to 75mb/s+ (Consistently), and dont let them trick you buy saying "5G Internet speeds", It means Absolutely nothing :|, if TMobile is "5G", then Verizon is 15G.
Answer: Take the cheapest, clunkiest, most useless data coverage you can imagine. Now imagine it not even working. You pay for something that is USELESS.
Answer: This is typical of t-mobile. It will not let me leave a review.
Answer: T-Mobile will let you keep your old number... IF IT IS AVAILABLE. I do not know the requirements or rules, but years ago, I was allowed to keep a number I had had for years past.
Answer: See, your other customers see the same thing. In plain words, you suck ass.
Answer: Better Business Bureau is the only way to force an american to talk to you
