T-Mobile's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices regarding promotions and service quality. Many customers report issues with billing, unresponsive customer service, and difficulties in resolving problems, leading to frustration and a sense of betrayal. While some reviews acknowledge initial satisfaction with service and product offerings, the overwhelming sentiment reveals a trend of distrust and disappointment, particularly concerning support after the sale. This feedback suggests a pressing need for T-Mobile to enhance its customer service approach and better honor promotional commitments to rebuild trust and retain customers.

They charged me a reinstatement fee when I got my device turned back on that cost me 101.00 then the next month they charged me 25.67 plus my bill of 55.00 then they sent me a bill for a device I returned back in February I am not renewing my services I'm very disappointed in there costumer service and the way they bill you have a great $#*!ing day
Call T-Mobile to help me with a claim and they told me over the phone that they would overnight me a phone since the insurance was failing to comply with what they had said and they still have not sent me a phone. It's been five days. I called them back and they're saying that was never said to me and it was a manager who spoke with me? I'm under review in a account I've had since 2021 never have made a claim in my life always upgrade and pay my bill, and T-Mobile said they see it's approved on there computer over the phone but then assurance says it's still under review, this is my school and work phone, this is simply unfair and sad I thought after being a good customer I would receive better service.
I was told I was getting a free phone. Unfortunately, I was on automatic payment so I didn't see my bill. They not only charged me for the "free" phone, they charged me for insurance. We hate the phone and only got it because it was free. The store we got the "free" phone from closed and the company refused to refund the money. I am so disappointed in this company - I've been a customer for 9 years and im leaving after this scandalous transaction. I hate getting ripped off!
I really miss Sprint. I am highly dissatisfied with T-Mobile never have I ever had to pay more than $65 to upgrade my phone and they want nearly $300. It's absolutely ridiculous I'm considering changing carriers I was with Sprint for over 20 years and I love them I do not like T-Mobile.
I wrote this review on another site and I'll write it here;
So I made the dumb decision as an 18 year old to switch to T-Mobile as an act to rebel against my mother and find independence. When that didn't work out, I decided to switch carriers and notify T-Mobile of my departure with their phone service. The reason for my departure was because they suddenly raised the price from 125 (what I originally paid) to 148 for a reason I don't know. When cancelling, they took 148 out of my account the next day and I disputed that charge with my bank for the charge being taken out unauthorized even when I turned off auto pay. They've had an incident like this before when I manually paid T-Mobile for the month and them taking out more money along with that. Anyways, T-Mobile sent me a letter stating that my final bill was due on August 1,2023 for the amount of 48.08, I paid that bill thinking that would be the last of it, I was wrong.
In the middle of August, T-Mobile had a different company send me a bill for 25 dollars for a reason that was not specified on the paper they gave me, I called representatives from both T-Mobile and that company to ask and dispute the charge to no avail. I sent an email providing evidence of said final bill fore mentioned, that company has not replied to that email and it has been a month since I've sent it. Today, T-Mobile has sent me the same bill from prior except with a late fee of 7.00 dollars. Just today I finally see what it was for, it was a returned charge fee from when they pulled funds out of my account without authorization. I called T-mobile again to, again, no avail. I regret being a dumb 18 year old and moving to this unhelpful, money hungry phone company. :/ I wish I could've given 0 stars but at the same time, the representatives that have tried to help me out were the only saving grace from this company.
It was a horrible experience. On the phone for 4 hours and the agent transferred my Verizon phone number to my watch so I did not have service all day. They totally messed it up, it should be noted i ordered two new devices. I will be calling today to cancel and go back to Verizon, unless a supervisor makes contact with me. Horrible experience
Aaron.
I left T-Mobile on June 6. They said I would get my refund check for unused service in two weeks. My billing date is the 25th. I have statements from June 25, July 25, August 25, and tomorrow they will issue a statement on September 25, all with a credit balance of $37.64. Their customer service won't even talk to me because they can't verify my account without the pin number I've never been issued, even though they know the land line number associated with my account, my account number, and my former cell phone number. Is T-Mobile having money problems?
They kept letting my ex wife into my account, once I had enough I moved to Verizon. But tmobile refused to unlock multiple phones I had paid off 8 months ago. I had to get my lawyer involved to make this happen. Don't trust tmobile!
I joined a premium plan, because of a couple of free addon. I was advised to activate my free Paramount+ later, when I needed it, because it run for a year from activation. Maybe he should have warn me the offer expire. I am furious, and will no longer be a client! Simple!
I was a Sprint customer for over 10 years when Tmobile bought them. It's been a nightmare since with both phones and home internet. The aggravation I've experienced is not worth the so called 'great rates'. Service is terrible with both and I got nothing but excuses from customer service. Run far away to save time and sanity!
1st month 300mbps speeds
2nd month 200mbps
3rd month 100-160mbps
Every month after... a constant up and down from 0mbps - 160mbps the internet is so unstable I cant do ANYTHING ONLINE besides watch youtube videos most days... I streamed on twitch and now I CANNOT do that at all because the internets too unstable... I've been giving them the benefit of the doubt hoping things get better but it just keeps getting significantly worse... Customer support is great they do thier best but at the end of the day the service im paying for is absolutely terrible...
We will be transferring back to Verizon Wireless as soon as they have internet service in our area
I should've known better than to trust T Maybe
On August 31st, 2023, when I was about to pay my regular monthly charge for T-Mobile service, to my surprise I discovered an extra charge on an amount $236.99. I called customer service and was explained by the offshore representative, that the charge came from Assurant (insurance company). I recently had a claim with Assurant, and they replaced one of the phones on my plan. Together with T-Mobile representative we contacted Assurant and they admitted that they failed to send me a return label and would do it right away. T-Mobile representative told me not to pay that extra charge and personally conducted a calculation and gave me a new amount to pay, he stated that the extra charge would be on hold. On September 19th (I already shipped the defective phone back to Assurant) I received an automated phone call from T-Mobile stating that my services were about to be suspended. I called again and a supervisor explained to me that previous hold expired, and he would create a new dispute and would call me on Friday September 29th. But he insisted that I shouldn't worry, and my service will remain intact. Today on September 21st my service is suspended. I called again and was transferred to the supervisor. First thing he told me was "F**k you" and then for five minutes he was saying that he has never said it and after that, he stated that he didn't mean it. He then stated that I needed to pay around $700 immediately. Today I open a complaint ******* within T-Mobile. But I already know T-Mobile will lose my complaint by the end of today.
Im so disappointed I have excellent credit I switched 4 lines to T-Mobile from att. I wasnt to upgrade my 2 lines and they want me to pay high down payments on phones they lied to me over and over on at customer service that they would fix it but they didn't after 4 calls still got the run around how they care I will leave reviews everywhere how they lied to me. I even asked about upgrades when I got the new service. They said Every customer is different that you get a spending limit. I have a 795 credit score and it's just not right I will go back to att where I can get anything I want and just pay taxes. I would have never switched to save 30 bucks a month.
Definitely what they say about the best network is a lie, I have had many problems with this Magenta plan that is supposed to be the best of the best, and now that I want to get out of this plan they have not unlocked my cell phone for 20 days to be able to switch to another company, this is incredible.
Ordered service on Monday, (Online) told me I have my product on Wednesday, Called to find out the status and they told me order was not processed yet. They charged me 15.00 for "Overnight" shipping. Might get it on Friday. Customer service must only have 1 canned response. "I understand and sorry about that" Can not or will not solve any problem(s). Spoke with "Supervisor" who dais he could fix it and let me pick up at store. Called the store I spoke with Edgar says come on in we will take care of it. He hangs up and now the "Supervisor" says he can not fix the problem and I have to wait another 2 to 3 days for the product to arrive. This was my first dealing with t-mobile, great was to start a new business relationship. THEY JUST SUCK. DON'T DO IT. Find someone else.
So I had to go into the store to pay for my bill...Not only did I have to wait an extended period of time but I paid a $5. Service fee. No consideration for their customers. A kiosk might be an excellent idea. 0 stars
Money hungry, trash service and way overpriced. I left Sprint after 10yrs and went to Tmobile because the service was horrible and my bill for one line was insane. It was ok until they merged with Sprint. Now they do the same thing. I wouldn't recommend Tmobile to a roach. Lie after lie after lie and the reps are always so rude. I can't wait to pay this phone off
I have been a customer with T-Mobile for 15 + years
The last 2 years the service has been the worst ever. Since the merger it seems that the sprit side has taken over the customer service. The over seas call center reads off scripts to answer concerns and is so fake it's not even funny. They say they will help but as soon as you're done talking you will never hear back. They now are so big they just don't care. Loosing customers is part of the matrix so they don't care. The lies are coming from the top of management to the bottom at the stores. I was in a store to compare plans because I was considering a switch to another carrier due to the lack of care and support I have received.
The rep in the store basically said sorry there is nothing that can be done to match or bet the competition pricing. That made my decision very easy. Before sprit came on T-Mobile was very accommodating and cared about us customers. Now they don't care. It's all in the matrix about customers coming and going. Sad to say. I was once proud to have T-Mobile. No am sorry for the billions of people out there that are getting taken advantage of by all the lies. The home internet is the biggest joke. My in laws live in a small rural town in southern Georgia. And they got taken advantage of on the home internet.
It only works for 8 hrs a day and once the sun goes down it's nothing but problems and shut downs. They are elderly and rely on internet. So sad. They grew because they once did care. Now that they are big and making the big bucks there is no care or concern.
Good bye
Expecting BMW performance from a Prius? If You have T-Mobile, you now what I'm talking about. Behind the flashy adds and Pink facade, there's just a low cost, low performing service. Appropriately named...(T)errible Mobile with 5G (5x the Grief).
Tried over 2 week period to transfer mobile # to new provider. Dealt with 2 managers at this office that is now closed. The last day I had everything they asked. The office manager had to make one last call to main office which he refused to do because of similar requests the previous days. Had to change Mobil #. This has caused MANY problems over many months. Worst experience of my 80 years of life. Don't do business with them

Answer: This is typical of t-mobile. It will not let me leave a review.
Answer: T-Mobile will let you keep your old number... IF IT IS AVAILABLE. I do not know the requirements or rules, but years ago, I was allowed to keep a number I had had for years past.
Answer: See, your other customers see the same thing. In plain words, you suck ass.
Answer: Better Business Bureau is the only way to force an american to talk to you
