Customer Service

These Guys and Gals are the best! I'm a do it yourself-er who learns how to do by Professor Google! I've been there too many times to count with difficult tasks and they've helped thru almost every time and many times they don't get paid because they don't carry the part, but help me locate it. 5 Star Approval!

This company doesn't have great methods of communication through email. There is no way to contact the company when you are checking the status of your resume. There isn't a way to properly connect my WebCam to their interviewing channel. Yes I see my WebCam running through their system however, they keep informing me they cannot see my WebCam even though I can see myself with 50 other people interviewing. I don't like the idea of getting a certificate program for training

First you begin by going to career builder and right still.com to complete a certificate program in customer service training for CSR programs at home. You pass the certificate and the company was interested in hiring the individual at home will call the individual. Right skill tells you you don't need experience with this but I have six years of customer service training at the company but not at home.

Sykes is the only at home company that uses right skill and career builder to look for applicants to work at home. So I had an online interview through Adobe connect and pass 2 other tests that would allow me to have a second interview by phone. During the interview they told me if you are the qualified candidate we will show you screen that you are qualified and go on to the next stage. They ask all the simple related customer service questions and I believe I did my best To answer every one of Those questions correct, but the one question that they asked me was do I have a at-home experience with customer service I said no to other applicants said no and one said yes because she probably worked for the same company once before.

To summarize my problem why do they hire people who already have at-home experience when most at-home experience positions are fake and false companies trying to get your money. How are we going to get an at home job or what we call remote job if we don't have the opportunity to work for anybody. They simply denied my account because I had no home experience when they hired someone that did. So why do I go through the expense of completing an online certificate program for customer service that tells me they will hire even if you don't have home experience.

When I try to inform them of my displeasure with their interviewing process. They didn't return my phone call or email regarding my complaint. I was Very upset about being disqualified even though the test that I took received a 92% rating was no reason for me to be disqualified for this position. I have more experience Than a person who has been at home job position And this person that got qualified probably has less than 6 months experience.

Career builder actually told me they cannot control another company's interviewing process or who they choose as an applicant but I told them it is a waste of time for me to take this CSR test and been told that they will hire you even if your inexperienced. It is a waste of time to go through all their testing to get denied and career builder does not take the responsibility to kick their $#*! out as a client for career builder. Also career builder is excepting fake work at home businesses that you see advertised saying it's been on Fox News and all these damn cable channels.

A Legitimate Work From Home
September 20, 2016

I believe that if I don't do this I am not helping other people who are looking for a legitimate work from home.
For 2 years now SYKES-Home is the company who gave me the opportunity to work at home.
Just like any Company they have requirements, interviews etc. There will be training and honestly if you will not waste your time talking while you are doing a role playing, You will learn a lot. Just not too much fooling around and focus. You will have HR and Someone who does the Schedules, Team Leaders who will be there to assist you.
Right now I am on LOA and still not allowed to go back to work due to my condition. But honestly I want to go back to work.
All my life I work in retail and never got the support that I needed to grow.
But SYKES-Home I will take pride when it comes to their support system. They will follow up and honestly if you will be honest and need the support from the Higher Management, They will listen. They Mission, Vision and Values is more on People First. So if there is anyone who will say they did not get no support. All I can say is did you try to reach out for help? Because they were there for me. And even if I won't be able to go back I will still recommend this company as far as work from home is concern.
You will also have the opportunity to meet really nice people to work with. But one thing I can guarantee you, if you have all the requirements it is worth investing because you will have a stable income. Training is paid too. And Yes I work with my PJ's and can play with my cat during break. Yes you have to take your breaks and Lunch. Which I am unable to do when I was a manager in a retail store. Commute is like 5 steps away from my bed. There are some bad days, yes but I believe that's everywhere.
So for those who are asking if this is a Legitimate work from home? Yes it is.
I just want to take this opportunity to Thank Sykes -Home for looking after me.
And please don't even think that they pay me for doing this. It just happens that a friend told me that there's so many bad reviews about SYKES. That's not fair. I believe the only people who complains about this company are those who think everything will be easy. No it's not easy. You have to work hard understand your job and if you love talking and helping customers then this job is for you. Everywhere you go you don't get paid by just sitting around doing nothing right? Work it! And I wish you all the best and hopefully for those who read this comment to see you in production when I get back to work.
