I purchased a Martin Guitar for my husband's birthday. The guitar was absolutely beautiful. Very quick shipping. Customer service was top notch! Pricing can't be beat anywhere. We are extremely pleased with our experience in dealing with Sweetwater and would highly recommend anyone looking for musical instruments to check them out! We would give them more than 5 stars if we could!

Ordered some products then the next day A representative reached out and said they were sold out & products would not be available till January and wanted to know if I still wanted them. I let them know I did. They reached back out two days later saying their was a glitch in the website and I could not have the products for the price I purchased them for. I was fished to their website to buy the products on a sponsored advertisement from Google. False Advertising is Illegal. My Wife has got me gear from these guys for years. I have advised her and she will no longer make purchases through them.

I would recommend that when you buy a guitar from Sweetwater, you don't buy the Plek setup system, costing $299. With it. If the guitar is not to your liking, you are not able to recoup the cost of the Plek. They keep your hard earned money and won't even give store credit. You are better off taking possession of the guitar, deciding if it is something that you want to keep, because you never know until you hold it and play it, then have a detailed setup done locally, or even send it somewhere. You never know when you order a guitar, if it will work for you. So, in a nutshell, don't believe the hype they claim to make sure you're satisfied with your purchase, or your money back.

My last purchase was a hi- hat and a ride. They all had surface scratches all over them.
I wish someone would have done some quality control before shipping or sold them to me at a used/ damaged rate.

We placed an order and had to make changes the same day. The rep we spoke with was accommodating to the change. 4 weeks later, however, we haven't received any merchandise and we're only given updates about our order when we call after being promised follow-ups. I wouldn't even bother leaving a review if the rep who we initially spoke with reached out to us at least once after we called in several times asking for our own updates about shipping and ultimately receiving the items we were looking for.

Sweetwater's customer service is phenomenal! They have a good range of products and with good prices. The guitar we bought was affordable and great quality. It arrived quickly with no damage - it was packed well. I was surprised and impressed to get a call from Sweetwater just a few days after the guitar was delivered. They were just making sure everything was good. That's great customer service!

Over the last 2 years, I've spent $7,842.24 at Sweetwater Sound, all of those purchases being the Three- or Six-Easy-Payment Plan. Suddenly today, they won't grant me three easy payments for a $175 order -- credit denied. Why? Because a few of my payments for a $1,300 Stratocaster and a $400 bass amp were late during the worldwide pandemic that hurt everyone's business, left millions unemployed, and millions more facing eviction -- including me. Apparently, these well-heeled luminaries don't read the news much. I communicated with them during the pandemic. They got all their money. They were never caught off guard. They acted kind. They even made more money by charging me for late payments -- all directly from my checking account. Yet, these soulless robots are now saying, "I don't want your money." OK folks: The people at Sweetwater music sell great products at a decent price and have unparalleled customer service. I wound up purchasing a Gator case upon their recommendation and I'm very satisfied, they even included a small bag of candy! I definitely got the feeling that if anything ever went wrong with a purchase they would refund it immediately and bend over backwards to make me a happy customer. Sweetwater is about the easiest place to deal with I've found. They have competitive prices, ship very fast and answer any questions you may have. No doubt if there is a real reason for a delay it could happen or they might no know the answer to your question or may not have what you're set on getting. But 100% for sure they will try and try hard. This is now my go to Music Store. Been playing guitar since 1965, maybe that's an indication of my experience with Music Stores. Try them, I think you'll have a similar experience to mine!
