I knew very little about what I was buying. Jon took the time to ask questions to understand what I needed then gave me recommendations in three different price ranges and explained the differences. It was nice to deal with someone who knew and could explain the gear. I would highly recommend Sweetwater. There was no pressure. Jon emailed the complete quote. He followed up to check on us. It's almost unfair how much better at sales and customer service sweetwater is than any other music retailer. They treat you like your local music store, but if your local store had literally every single thing you could possibly need!
Their website is flawless, gear reviews and videos are world class, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and prices are the best! It's a perfect buying experience!

As a church we are regularly needing to order new equipment for our audio and visual department. Orders from a few dollars to a few thousand dollars. Sweetwater has the best service I have ever encountered at any business. Orders are processed and shipped quickly. Always a follow up phone call or email to check in and make sure everything went well or if we have any other needs. Prices are competitive. Just wow!

So, I bought a new Yamaha electric guitar for my son to learn on. When it arrived it had a terrible open fret buzz. When the company reached out to me about my 'shopping experience', I told them as much. The salesperson followed up with words to the effect that I should have expected as much from a cheap guitar and that I could take advantage of their (paid) setup service. To be fair they (eventually) offered to do it for free, but by then I'd already gotten rid of the box. I found them to be pretty condescending if you don't know a lot about guitars. They are certainly quick to tell you…at great length…how much they know. If you already know a lot about guitars im sure they're just fine, but if you don't I'd keep moving along.
I have never had a issue with help making a purchase or not received great advice to decide. Returns are easy and was my mistake on product.
Shipping is great.
Keith treats me as a person not just the next sale.
It almost always is a sale anyway but led not pushed.

I have been a loyal customer since 2003. I had a large order and I ordered around May 27,2020. My salesman Delvin was strait up and said some of my order was going to be difficult due to the virus. He did suggest alternatives and actuality they things he suggested turned out better for me. The negative customers should understand that a lot of the delays were not the companies fault.

As a first time user of an 8-string, it feels perfect. The multi-scale took a few days to get used to, and now its the most natural positioning for me. The tuning is tight and doesn't loosen over long play times, the pickups have sustain for days, and the action was set right where I like it. This has to be one of the most playable guitars I have ever used. I've always been a fan of Ibanez, and Sweetwater has always been helpful, and they continue to meet and rise above expectations! I love this guitar!

This order required more than a little back and forth and the sales engineer, Dennis, not only responded with emails, but telephone calls, too. Will definitely be ordering from this company again

Searched all over the web for a good deal on some above average cymbals…marketplace, Craigslist, eBay and no real good deals anywhere. Found a demo 7 piece Rock pack at Sweetwater for an awesome price. Spoke directly with sales and they worked with me to get an even better deal delivered. Cymbals look like brand new at an unbelievable price. Very happy with my purchase at Sweetwater!

Spent close to $5000 dollars with this company just under a year ago. I had issues with some of the drum components immediately. Reached out on many occasions to get the problems resolved. Troy Davis was my rep. They made a few feeble attempts at resolving my issues and when that didn't work they just stopped responding. I was so frustrated by this that I have not used the set in almost a year. When I realized that I was on my own I finally started to try and fix the stuff myself because I just want to play. The hi-hat cymbal doesn't work. The bell on the ride doesn't work. Be careful with large purchases with this company cause if it's bad product, you are screwed. Just my experience. To each his own. I just got a bass from sweet water and it showed up in great condition with no flaws, also you can tell they put a ton of time into making the shipping safe for the bass or guitars they send out. Heck the even sent a small bag of candy as a thank you for purchasing from them. The shipping was fast. Great business will by from again!
