Jars should be shipped in a cardboard box, preferably marked this side up, with popcorn or newspaper or, less optimally, plastic bubble wrap, so they are not at risk of opening.

I used to live in the Midwest where it was much easier to find a true Chicago dog, but since moving from downtown Denver to the 'burbs I have had 0 luck with finding tasty condiments. No more! I purchased Green Relish and Sport Peppers here. They arrived wrapped in a hefty amount of bubble wrap in a box that was just the right size. I'm incredibly happy! It's what I've been missing all these years.

So happy to have found the Armando pasta from Flumeri, Italy, the town my grandfather was born in and that I visited this year. Service was great. Credited for sold out item. Packaged well, nothing was broken.

Supermarket Italy always delivers quickly at the most reasonable prices. They're a lifeline for people who don't live in areas with a lot of Italian markets. We're currently 4 hours from the next major city with an Italian presence, so being able to order things like guanciale or pecorino at good prices is wonderful.

They also have some good cocktail products like bitters that can be hard to find in certain areas.

Good shopping experience, but I was put off at the end when I was asked to add a percentage "tip." It has always been customery to leave a tip for "personal" service that is above or beyond —I never spoke with a real person during my entire shopping experience. If y'all require more $ to pay your shipping team, how about a surcharge for hard to acquire grocery items, why not roll into the price of the item or make your shipping a flat $10 fee and give extra $2 to those packaging your orders?

As someone who is married to an Italian and has lived in Italy and now home stateside, we order all our beloved and much missed authentic Italian products from meats and snacks to vitamins as well as bath and bodycare from you guys. Never any issues and always received fresh items at a very reasonable price. Customer service is about and beyond. Shipping is always lightning quick and packed like Fort Knox! We've placed many an order from small to large over the passed 10 years and will continue to do so. Highly recommend!

I was satisfied with the delivery of products. However, they were gifts and I did not see any options on website for including a note as to who sent the gifts. I also fear that a listing of prices was included in package. Also I have points and there was no easy way for me to figure out how to redeem than when checking out

There were no emails beyond the confirmation, so I did not know when the package arrived. Which meant it sat outside on the patio (corner house, so very visible) all night in the rain. This was 6 bottles of vinegar, so the glass wasn't going to be harmed by water and they were well cushioned, but I was afraid the whole box would fall apart just trying to get it into the house. A follow-up email to Supermarket Italy went unanswered.

You are a lifesaver for offering this gourmet treat when Amazon ran out, which I always buy as Christmas gifts in memory of my dear, departed German mother. I expected to pay a premium, but you are only slightly more expensive than Amazon, and I was pleasantly surprised to get a volume discount and free shipping. Definitely will look here in years to come for my annual marzipan Christmas gifts.

I have been dealing with SupermarketItaly for well over 5 years. I have never had breakage or any problem with product not being delivered in a timely manner.
The way they package everything is just about bullet proof. Olive oil and other fragile items arrive intact each and every time, despite some occasional, overly rough handling by the carrier. The prices are fair and in line with other Italian importers. They truly care, and that's why they are my first choice for Italian foods.

However, your customer service department should be more understanding that customers don't want to use the terrible "Shop" App to track their orders. It is not too much to ask if you ship in two deliveries that you provide the tracking numbers for both shipments dry AND refrigerated items. Refrigerated items are the issue as they are shipped usually after the dry items and here you will not get notification. This time you sent nothing after I politely requested 2X's.

Overall, I'm happy with supermarket Italy. I was disappointed that my last order contained an incorrect item. They gave me the wrong marmalade, and I don't like the one that they sent. I would've liked the option to receive the one that I originally ordered, but they just issued me a refund. It's not a big deal. I can get it next time I guess.

Each time I have ordered from Supermarket Italy I have been pleased with my experience and with the product. My package arrived well packed and promptly. The one time that I had an issue the Customer Service was seamless.

I love shopping here! The inventory is so vast and I find great things here every time. I am especially thrilled to discover new pastas that I've never tried and the many different balsamic vinegars in stock. The prices here are good and the shipping is fast! Selection of products is excellent. Wide variety from all of Italy's regions. Easy website to get around and the different categories are clearly defined. Shipment is quick and everything is packed well. Never had any breakage with any of my orders.

Service excellent. Only complaint is that the product came wrapped in large amounts of bubble wrap, which was unnecessary because paper could be used, and tape which impeded recycling in any case. Only paper should be used to protect shipped products
