Truly Disgusting
March 29, 2023

Our floors were wooden, and so disgusting that we had to use washcloths to wipe the floors hoping we wouldn't catch anything. No exaggerations here. Horrible.

The smell

We not only were lied to about the price of the room, we couldn't breathe all night because of the strong smell of sewer. We got charged $70 more then quoted on the phone. Here were are in 2023, and they used the covid19 excuse as to why all the amenities were not available, like breakfast, coffee, working blow dryer, and pool. This was the most over priced dump, I have ever stayed at, they charged $250 for 1 night. Oh and don't expect the customer service line to help, they put you on hold and never come back. I gave them a 1 cause at least there was TP, and towels in the bathroom.

This place is garbage

Employees are terrible, terrible management, seem to all be strung out on meth, found bedbugs 2 out of three rooms and when told there is bugs they act like I'm lying and don't want to move me, even brought them a bug as evidence, never had bugs in my life. Manager told me to leave if I don't like it and persistently acted like I was the problem and got nothing but attitude from her, when told I can write a review about it she says she doesn't care, Wi-Fi hasn't worked in a week, appliances, furniture and fixtures are falling apart, holes in walls also MOLD. There's my two cents and that's how much it should have cost to stay in this dump, I find it hilarious this place is still running. Rapid City South Dakota North side. Any place is better than here, out of the three rooms they're all in bad shape

I have stayed at all types of Hotels, Motels bed and breakfast etc. If I look at this Hotel with my Ray Bans on then I will say No way am I staying at this dump. The rooms are not up to my standards and I will rather stay at The Hilton. We stayed 2 comfy nights here for the price of 1 night at a "More accommodative Hotel " if you know what I mean. Short version, as long as you get a room where the air is working and the noise from the unit doesn't keep you awake and you are bug free and the sheets are clean. It's a decent stay. We slept well, no noise and even though I'm too bougie for the pool, the other guests seemed to have a good time in it. All in all, if you can afford to spend $175 on 1 night somewhere else, then do that, if you need a night or two at a straight spot. This was ok.

RED FLAG #2 CUSTOMER PHONE NUMBER IS DISCONNECTED. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE.
The refundable deposit apparently is not refundable. So expect to pay $200 on top of the high rate for the quality of hotel. No way yo dispute the deposit give the impression they are avoiding customers concerns. That is a great way to be in the hospitality industry. The free breakfast is a prepackaged, smashed bear claw. No thanks. Oh, the wifi doesn't work worth anything and the cable is from early 1989.

To get ripped off and pay for such rundown, out of date rooms, I suggest ANY other hotel. This rat trap is poor and sad and run by theives. Scumbags run Stupid 8. I mean super 8.

Worst motels I have stayed at.
August 2, 2022

1) I stayed in the Super 8 in Billings Montana it was absolutely horrible there was a dog down the hall that barked off and on all night.
I called the front desk they said we do allow animals. I understood that no problem but it kept happening I called the front desk they said they would take care of it well they didn't. I did not get any sleep at all. The next morning I went to the front desk and told them again. Tje answer I got was " Well we do allow animals" I know I was told that three times already.
2) Now I'm in Cheyenne Wyoming this very night first the TV didn't work so I had to pack all my stuff up and move rooms.
Now the kicker they moved me to another room and it smells like urine. To put it bluntly I'm packing my stuff up the second time and leaving I am so pissed off if I go talk to the front desk guy I will say something I regret so, I will just leave I will never stay at a super 8 motel again and up to this point I rarely stay anywhere else but I'm done. I will get a copy of purchase and send it separately, I never got a copy of the purchase agreement.

I checked in but never stayed at the hotel. I came out to see three guys using their hands to look into my truck cab.My buddy was scared to stay in my truck for me to go back into the hotel lobby. Parking lot has minimal lights mostly dirt as some type of construction going on. I brought hotel desk gal outside after she refused my refund for not wanting to stay there. There was at least a dozen definitely not hotel guests standing there i told her ask them to leave or call the police. I did call the police and was told they would advise not staying there due to weekend crime in that area and the hotel had code violations from the city.The front desk lady said the city was doing the construction but the Police said NO. I cannot comment on the room as i never got that far but the Lobby was dirty and the furniture was worn to the point the padding was exposed and they do not have any breakfast or even coffee as advertised. Wow! I BOOKED THIS THROUGH PRICELINE

Don't stay here - ants in bathroom and on the last night I killed a mouse in my room (131). They moved me to room 135 but even though they say their rooms are smoke-free, it reeked of smoke; little sleep the last night. Very little customer service from either Super 8 or Wyndham (who says they can't help because the Super 8 is privately owned). What a disaster! Furthermore, no room service (fresh towels, empty trash, etc) and they don't even tell you so at check-in, and Wi-fi is so poor you have to work in the hallway.

This hotel should not be allowed to be open. We've been traveling there for 25 years the last 3 years it gone down hill. Broken windows, outlets hanging out of walls. Not to mention just plain filthy. We will never stay there again.

The Super 8 in Williams, AZ had bedbugs, both live and dead in our room. Clerk insisted that there are two beds so we can sleep in the other. We said no, and finally got a different room down from there and across the hall. Clerk also said that they just bomb the room. Requested our receipt and was told it was emailed, which it WAS NOT as I did not give them our email address. Reported them to the county health department which they phone us to tell us they did have bed bugs. And it would be professionally taken care of. Put in a complaint to Pissed Consumer and Travel Advisor websites. NEITHER Super 8 NOR Wynham ever contacted us. Stay away if you want to enjoy your stay.

Terrible
August 25, 2021

Online this place looked decent. Was just for one night, but when we got there it was nothing like what it shows online. This place was truly a nightmare of disgusting. Online shows a very nice pool but it's actually a giant dirty puddle with a cover. I didn't even want to stay after seeing everything but they said they couldn't refund me. Aside the room being nasty, the tv wasn't working, broken smoke detector and other holes in the walls. The bathroom sink had a leak underneath and when I looked there was duct tape around the pipe as a "fix". Not to mention some dead and live bugs.

I travel frequently and have stayed at several Super 8 Motels. This location, by far, was the Worst Experience we've
EVER had! Dirty floors, dirty sheets and hair in the bathtub! Alarm clock did not work, had to request a new 1 twice and finally had to go down to the front desk to get a new one, TV was sketchy! Will not even consider staying at a Super 8 Motel again.

I give this 2 thumbs up. It was conveniently located off the interstate, near the capital building, and shopping. I found the entire staff friendly. Free mini-buffet breakfast. The staff assisted me with the waffle maker. Clean rooms and laundry facilities. My forte was the heated indoor swimming pool and hot tub accompanied by heated air and towels. II was super cool to watch it snow outside while I was toasty swimming in the pool area during winter. It wasn't until my stay was over with that I discovered the pizza place next door within walking distance
especially for a snowy stay.

Nicest Super 8 I have ever stayed at =] Seriously, I usually burn Super 8s on reviews, but this one surprised me. It is clean, quiet, well-run, and the staff is kind and helpful. ( We travel for work, so we stay at Wyndham properties all over the country.) THIS ONE HAS ITS ACT TOGETHER. There is a lovely breakfast in the morning, with two different kinds of "make-it-yourself" waffles, pastries, toast, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. In the evenings they provide complementary, chilled cucumber water and fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies in the lobby. If you are a fellow business traveler, the rooms have comfortable beds, and several "charging ports" for your devices. There is also a mini-fridge and microwave. We were here for more than a week, and were very pleased.

Many things went wrong with our stay there on 1-1-2018.
1) In order to avoid honoring 2 coupons, they said that they only had 1 of the coupon rooms available when we checked in, after being told that they had 2 rooms on the phone 11 minutes earlier, so our party of 3 adults and 2 children, was split between 2 floors.
2) The 2 year old in our group found a dirty steak knife that had dried bug feces on it on the shelf of a night stand in 1 of our rooms which also had bugs that looked like wood roaches. When we called the front desk the girl acted like she was shocked and said that she would text her manager, later in the evening she informed us that her manager would deal with the issue when she comes back to work in 2 days.
3) The other room that we had the bathroom floor felt squishy and when someone was in the tub, it felt like you were going to fall through the floor.
