I ordered the reindeer rolling pin the end of October for a Christmas gift. I just received it today 1/11/2019 arriving from China. Not worth the $28.00 paid. I found it cheaper on Amazon (wish I checked there before ordering). The quality is cheap for an expensive rolling pin. I may trash it, or try it out next Christmas time if it doesn't fall apart!

Pleased with Purchase!

In late January 2019 I ordered a ring from Sugar and Cotton. The item arrived today and I'm really happy with my purchase, so much so that I will certainly order from them again. I'm sorry to read some terrible experiences others have had. Shipping does take time but that's not always an unusual thing.

Scam! Do not buy!
January 4, 2020

Hi guys! Me and my husband wanted to buy special gifts for 3 members of our family, for Christmas. Unfortunately, we never received the gifts. A couple of weeks after purchased, we checked the tracking website and realized something is fishy. Weeks passed and the product was still in China, back and forth from the producer to the air shipping.

Ships from China

They seem to be dropshipping from AliExpress as the orders take many weeks/months to arrive and the package says it shipped from China. The order value is also much less than the original purchase price. The quality of the item is cheap.

I contacted them about this but never got a response.

Very poor service
January 11, 2019

Purchased a ring via S&G website on Dec 5. Received email saying it would take 5 weeks to deliver. Tracked the order and they sent it to Korea not Oregon where I live. After 5 weeks I've still not received the ring that I wanted to give to my wife. Lost my business. I'm disputing the order on my credit card. Will never attempt to purchase from this company again. They would not call me when I asked for them to call. I think this is bogus company.

Be careful
April 19, 2017

I ordered two body kun figures on Feb. 17,2017. After waiting 6 weeks, I e-mailed customer service but got no reply. After 3 days I filed a claim through PayPal and got a response right away. My figures arrived 1 week later. The boxes were squished, but thankfully the figures were okay. I am glad I got these very expensive figures for half price, but I would not order from this site again. I was starting to think I'd been scammed.

Buyer be Ware!

Buyer be ware! I ordered a mug waited 6 weeks messaged 2 different times. Days apart with no anwer finally got an answer after the third email asking where my item was ((they had not even shipped it out)) they did not provide any tracking in the first place and I have not gotten a resolution on money back sence it wasn't sent out in the first place.

Purchase from this company, you will wait11-12 weeks for your product to arrive from China or Japan. If you try to cancel the order, they will tell you the order cannot be canceled because it has already been shipped, but they will not tell you an estimated delivery date. I ordered the moon lamp, and when it finally arrived 12 weeks later, it came in a shipping BAG, the box inside the bag was so badly damaged that I will not be able to wrap it to give it as a gift. Fortunately the lamp is plastic and was not damaged.
This experience has taught me that when sites pop up on Facebook or any other social media and I want to order a product to always check Amazon before purchase. Amazon has many different versions of this lamp, all at 1/2 the price or less, and You'll have it in a day or two. I have found this to be true with many different products, not just products from this website. BUYER BE AWARE!

Scam artists
February 11, 2019

They present their products as if they are limited quantities to get money for future orders. They say expect delayed shipping because the product is in high demand and few are available. They are just taking the money before they have the product. I opted for a refund when I found out. Also reported to BBB.

Don't do it! This Chinese company is advertising all over Instagram and it is HORRIBLE! The quality is beyond synthetic and nasty. It's smells and feels actually toxic. The reviews on BBB are the WORST. I spend money on what I thought would be a lunxury, cozy blanket and it was misrepresented and a blatant scam. I will never get my money back and it just sad companies go into business with the sole intent of misleading their customers. They should be ashamed.

Leakage everywhere

More bad news with my online ordering I'm afraid. On 10th February 2017 I ordered a set of watercolour pens. Well again after having to call in PayPal for help I received my order today, 11th of April 2017! I was sooo excited and opened the package looking forward to doing some artwork with the pens, but unfortunately they had leaked everywhere and there is hardly any paint left! I am so disappointed.

Nearly 9 Months later I have still not received anything I ordered. I ordered two separate items back in December 2,2018... after well over a month of having not receiving any tracking information yet (I know, I'm a patient person), I started emailing customer support inquiring where my orders were and just received empty assurances that they were working on it and my orders were on their way. Two months later I "received" a notice for one of the orders from the US Department of Agriculture that something being mailed to me was destroyed because it was illegal to transport overseas. To their credit (hence not being mad I can only put one star) they refunded me for this after submitting evidence. But nearly 7 MONTHS LATER I am still waiting on my second order to arrive. Only after persisting to email them do I get a response that it was too late to get a refund because it was last year (which means I never had a change to be eligible for a refund as awaiting the allotted 5 weeks from December 2,2018 would put me into the new year). They offer to resend the order but by now I find them so unreliable and underhanded that I would rather have a refund

Edit: so after they offered to "resend" me the order and me waiting over a month, following up frequently, LO AND BEHOLD i get an abrupt message (after getting an email saying it shipped and everything with assurances to my many emails that it was on its way) that my order was "never processed". Now guess what? Yep, repeat this whole thing over again

Edit 2: so order #3 order failed again after many follow ups it fails at the last step, got another predictable "Upon checking, your replacement order was not shipped again."
