This horrible waste of life/brain eating virus app deserves a sitation for a billion dollars! I have found out that on some of the questions, they make all of the answers incorrect so that they can get more money by causing people to use it longer trying to pass the stupid tests! So teachers, students, parents DO NOT USE.
It is $#*!ed and makes little sense when you try to work on it. The questions are worded stupidly so you can't even decipher what the question is even trying to ask. The explanations also are worded this way so unless you can read collage level writing (poor third graders) you cant even figure out why you get questions wrong. This site need to be put out of its misery.
It is very glitchy and buggy. Even over wifi, loading can take a ridiculous amount of time. The idea is great however they have a lot of kinks to work out. I've watched my son select a correct answer and he gets a pop-up starting there is an issue, so he selects the same answer again. He then gets a pop-up with an explanation of the correct answer, and I can see in the background that a wrong answer is now selected.
I've read through the lessons multiple times to try and understand the topic and I also watched the videos the website provides, and i continue to get almost every question wrong. The lessons do not help and the so called "explanations" the site gives to you gives you just doesn't help either. Therefore, I find it just a waste of time when there are alternative learning programs to help students. It is just a stressful waste of time.
It was boring and I want to guest the answer and it no fun with out game. The game they had where fun but some were weird. I would not do it to kid so they could lean with out game so they would do it at home or at school.
I absolutely hate study island. Whenever I go on it I get super pissed off. I absolutely do not think schools should use it. For example it would give you an article on ancient art. I would read the whole thing, then it would ask a question like "what was the article about". I would click the awnser ancient art and it would be wrong. Does not make any sense.
Study Island is stupid. It has the correct answers but says they are wrong. The animation is for 2 year old children but yet the problems are for college students. Also the "FUN GAMES" study island has are about math. For example the Bugs Away game requires you to do math problems in between the already dumb games. It is also incredibly stupid because the explanations are too complicated to explain what you did wrong. It should simply say how you should do it not give the entire biography about the creator who is an man who has been dead for the past 150 years. WHO GIVES A SH*T?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
If you use study island you become very very dumb and you will ruin your school history. Trust me nobody will go to your school again. If my speelling errors are bad its because of Study Island. This is a piece of s@#*
This is absolute trash. I hope that any teacher that uses this as an educational tool should have both of their legs broken, and die in a hole.

This program is terrible. It ruined my self esteem. When i didnt learn the lesson yet the program got mad because i was guessing. When i did the work on scratch paper. It said i was taking too long. When i was playing the games poorly it took my game privileges away. This website made me feel likd i was dumb. It ruined my self esteem... study island gave me clinical depression
This is complete bull$#*!, if you to help your kids suicide then this is for you. I started hating math. IXL i better. It will make you feel stupid and cry for 24 hours. Save your selves. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
It's like taking a quiz but worse
It also made it so you have to have your teacher's permission to comment on the assignment. YOU MIGHT AS WELL JUST TELL THEM. It is literally hell. My teacher forced me to bookmark it, so I named the bookmark hell. The only good part is that it slows down time like a time machine.

This website is the cheapest, most low quality piece of garbage I have ever been forced to use in my entire life. The people who developed this clearly spent way more time on trying to make the hardest, most bs questions imaginable rather than actually trying to teach children information. The games that are supposed to "reward" hard-working students were probably made by people who never took a single programming class in their entire lives. Oh, and it is WAAAAAAAY too overpriced to warrant this kind of crap. You wanna know why they use Khan Academy videos in their lessons? It's because they can't make a single piece of quality educational content by themselves. Just use Khan Academy or some other more well-made learning platform, because this is an overpriced, poorly service, and buggy pile of garbage. Take it from me. I've had to use it for THREE EFFIN' YEARS OF MY LIFE. I could go on for hours, but really all I mean to say is that this is a waste of public school money.

The questions are vague... and always more then one possibility and mostly opinion based. Horrible format.
Issues:
-Sometimes get questions wrong that it explains are right
-Stressful
-Sometimes just doesn't work
-The way they word the questions just doesn't make sense
-I thought IXL was bad, but this is just a very, very bad program
-negative approach to learning
I am a student and are teachers know nothing about study island and they just tell us to do it and every bit of information is WRONG every thing they make us do up there questions are worded to the point to where you cannot understand them then that leads to you failing the subject or getting the question wrong! And i have looked at all the other reviews there is only one GOOD one all the other ones are complain for different reasons that is very bad but if every on was complain about one certain reason i would understand but they are all different if you dont believe me you can look at all the other reviews they are and the developers that made this website should be ASHAMED and all my other friend are complaining about the same thing i would not recommend ANYONE to play on this site.
This just so terrible that I don't know what to say. But I can tell why, you need at least 70 to pass, you can't go back, and you are forced to wait when answer to fast
This website doesn't help you at all. It is stressful. If you get a question wrong it feels degrading. It goes off of your test scores and is tailored to you but half of this stuff I don't even know
